Cheryl and Fran are incredibly ill-mannered and have no tolerance for patients with anxiety or questions. When I found another dentist, they even refused to send my x-rays and files over! It was always difficult to find an appt. time that worked for me since I worked 2 jobs at the time and Cheryl would huff and puff saying she had other clients on the line-- as if she could not be bothered!!!! Needless to say, I stopped spending hundreds of dollars here because of Dr. El Ghadi's terrible receptionists.

I gave them both my daughters health and dental insurance. I was told they take both. I was quoted that I would only have to pay the $25 co-pay for the consultation. No mention of in network or out of network. We then proceed to get a bill for $250 after my copay credit for just the consultation!! I called and was told it is because they are "out of network" with my dental insurance and my health insurance does not cover wisdom teeth removal outside of a hospital setting. Things you should know prior to scheduling with this Dr Lane's office. They then asked if I wanted to proceed with scheduling the procedure and then quoted the procedure for over $4,000!!! Why would I???? No thank you!! I then scheduled a consultation with a different in network Dr. I did not have to pay a copay at all. I never received a bill for the consultation because our dental insurance covered it 100%. I owe a balance of $100 for the wisdom teeth procedure. I did call Dr. Lanes office asking why they told me they took my health and dental insurance? Why they would not mention in network and out of network when scheduling of apt? And why I was quoted I would only pay $25 for the consultation copay? I was answered with a condescending woman telling me I should know. I do not work in the health industry, how would I know? That is why it is so important to put this message on yelp! Do your research before you schedule! I asked if they would consider giving me a discount and was told no. I then called my dental insurance to see if I could appeal this bill and was told that because they are out of network they can charge any price that they want and there is nothing they can do about it. We paid the bill. But in my opinion this is bad business ethics to have patients come in and waste their time and my time. It was a waste of $250 that could have been prevented if they cared about doing good business. I hope this helps future patients who are considering going to Dr. Lanes office. If Dr. Lane is in network go for it. But if not BEWARE!! Thank you.

The significant dental work has involved mostly "crowns". This dental work has caused me great financial strain. Dentistry is subjective and offers no second opinion without a financial impact.
