I almost don't want to write this, because Dr. Glavin is hands down the best dentist around, and I…read morewant to selfishly keep him available for me and my family, lol! His willingness to learn more about my rare autoimmune disease (which affects my teeth and gums) was critical for treatment, and he has gone above and beyond to work with sensitivity to my particular needs. Not only is he extremely competant and knowledgable in his field, he actually listens to you and any concerns or input that you have. Who does that anymore? It doesn't hurt at all that his assistants and entire staff are profesional, personable, and go out of their way to give you top notch service!

Dr. Jeffrey Glavin (Bourne, MA) is the best dentist I've been to in 50 years and 7 states & here…read moreare my reasons: 1) he is a consummate professional, skillfully using the most current techniques in a filling & crown; 2) he tells you ahead of time what he will be doing (showing on the x-rays & photos) and keeps you apprised you as he proceeds; 3) he is thorough, careful, and considerate - checking in periodically to be sure patient is okay; 4)all of his staff are as friendly & helpful as he is; 5) his office is cheerful, well-lit & has active bird feeders outside each window; and 6) as further evidence of his brilliance, he has the large Mass. Dental Society domestic violence poster in the office bathroom - "Do you need help? Help is available . . . You don't have to handle this alone . . ." then lots of resources. Yeah!

UPDATE: he has now sent me a bill for the initial visit months later after leaving this review! I…read morenow have an $125 bill for a 15 minute visit and I never got the surgery done. Also when I went to the hospital in Boston i had to retake the initial x-rays because this office did not send them and I was told by that doctor that it would be a quick and easy surgery and that as long as my cardiologist said I was fine then so was he. So nothing has really changed other than this place wasting my time and making me travel to have this done. I seem to have nothing but problems with this place. From the simplest of things like getting information sent to another doctor to the constant back and fourth to try to get a tooth out this whole process has been a big headache. I went in and had some other medical issues and ended up being cleared by too other doctors to find out that after I got the clearance that Dr. Milano still did not want to take out my wisdom teeth. I get being cautious but I've already been told by two other doctors that know more about my condition that I would be perfectly fine to have this done. So now I'm being sent to mass general in Boston for wisdom teeth to be removed. I was told I would get a call from the hospital to set up the appointment but after a week I decided to just call myself just to find out from the hospital that they never even sent anything to them. So I have been waiting in pain for over two months and still have gotten nowhere, and on top of everything it is so difficult to contact them because the business hours are not your average hours.

The great care began with a call from the office moving my appointment up because I was in pain,…read morebut the remarkable part was the extraction itself. Dr Milano made this an absolutely painless process. Unlike every other dentist I have ever been too, he waits for the numbing gel to work before he starts the novaCaine injections...Additionally, he employs several "tricks" to ensure a painless procedure. This wasn't just a tooth extraction but removal of a 20 year old crown; it had all the hallmarks of being a tough experience and yet it was swift and painless
