Dr. Flonta has been managing my mouth full of unfortunate surprises for three years. Crowns, implants, deep cleans, root canals ... the works. I've been very pleased with the quality of work and the overall cost. She's as good a dentist as I've ever had in all my years of big city life. I trust her judgement implicitly. And she's put together an efficient and helpful team. Couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately my experience made me leave this practice. I had extra funds on my dental benefit at…read morethe end of year and I asked if there was preventative care that I could use that extra money on. Dr. Flonta said there were three teeth that could use some preventative fillings. When the office manager looked at my benefits, she said it would cost approximately $189.00 So I agreed to set the appointment and have the preventative care done. In January I received an additional bill for $274.50! When I asked several times for them to rectify this situation, they denied any compromise besides spreading out the payments. I would have never had the preventative fillings done if they had said it would be $463.50! Very poor information (and that's their job) and no ownership for misleading information.

It's always been a great experience (well, as great as any oral surgery could be, given that it's ORAL SURGERY). I don't know what else you could want for an oral surgeon... he's skilled, compassionate, thoughtful, and efficient. The facility is contemporary and spotlessly clean. The staff are super friendly. The work has always been impeccable. Recently when I had a technical problem with an older implant (not his fault) he made it right, nonetheless.

At the initial consultation, Dr. Fitzgerald and his staff were great about answering any questions I had about the procedure. The office is very clean, modern, and professional, and the reception staff are wicked friendly. Now onto the procedure itself. I am someone who has never had surgery before, and I also have severe anxiety about dentists. With that in mind, I obviously wanted to be as sedated as possible. The surgical team was very understanding of my needs, and Dr. Fitzgerald was very compassionate with regards to my anxiety, continually reassuring me about the level of sedation chosen (which was more than sufficient :-] ). The pain management has been very effective so far with the minimum dose (I don't like narcotics, but as of this moment I'm pain-free without that loopy feeling). I'm serious when I say that Dr. Fitzgerald is the go-to guy.

I had a wisdom tooth extracted (at 59 years old), and everything from the pre-visit registration, the consultation, the surgery and post op instructions were clear, professional and extremely thorough examining every part of my mouth, teeth and jaw. The staff called upon receiving the referral from my dentist to have the tooth removed to schedule an appointment proactively, and explained that they do not take insurance but will submit a claim on your behalf should you provide your insurance info. They provided an estimate that I thought was very reasonable, including IV sedation, and I knew my insurance deductible and coverage would probably not cover much. The dental assistant that worked with the Dr. was super kind and thorough. She gathered my husbands name and contact info, my pharmacy, allergies and other details and wrote them on a whiteboard in the room. All the details! So efficient but lots of time spent with me to give me top notch care. I am so grateful!

There was a curved root that made the process difficult, and the professionals performing and assisting the procedure did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible during it. My saga began decades ago in the Seattle area. I needed lots of dental care due to some sporting accidents and I had a great dentist from Sweden, but he retired and moved before I could get the work completed in my mouth. Since then I worked with a super dentist in Bellevue Wa, but implants were new to him and I needed implants - 7 to be exact. When my wife and I moved to the Cape we discovered finding good doctors wasn't easy. And finding a good dentist was even more challenging. One DDS I interviewed with in Provincetown examined me in 2021 and proposed implant solutions at the tune of 100K +. Woah! We almost started but then he demanded proof of Covid shots before he'd work on me. "Papers please!" Really? No way! Fast forward... my wife sees an ad for Dr. Kenny in Orleans so I got the check up and cleaning. He then fitted and installed two crowns and did it in one day! I couldn't believe it. No pain! He has the equipment to do everything in house! Wow! No more waiting for the lab to mail you the crowns! Joy! And his equipment is state of the art! Today I had an extraction and four (4) implants done - one upper and three lower and it only took a couple of hours... the extraction was the toughest part. And it does come with some discomfort, but this is normal. I feel excellent and am so happy I'm on my way to a full smile! Thank you Dr. Kenny! You are the best! And Marissa is Awsome! Marissa will greet you at the front desk with a beautiful smile! Something we all need! A "How ya doin" checkup in two weeks then the crowns in August after the bones heal ... I will update! PS - Don't put your dental work off as I did. It's time to make your appointment with Dr. Kenny and the Orleans Center for Dental Excellence!
