Dr Lane even gave me his card with his personal cell number if there were any after hours concerns. The nurse provided me with a goodie bag which included ice cream, a blanket, extra gauze and a chapstick. Who does that? I was disappointed reading some of the other reviews here. All I can say is that it can be very expensive to have a complete set of teeth and many people are not so fortunate. Blaming the doctor is inappropriate.

I called Dr. MacDonald's practice and was offered Dr. John Kambouris as my practitioner. He was a student at Tufts and our shared experience with the School was very reassuring as I am not a great dental patient. Dr. Kambouris very quickly and easily adjusted my dental appliance and I was out of the office in less than 30 minutes! The assistant was pleasant and Dr. Kambouris was professional and efficient. I needed some dental work that over the last 3 decades, has needed to be readdressed. From the front desk and back to the clinicians, everyone here is friendly and professional. You won't get the feeling here that people look at you as just another patient. They genuinely care about you, your family, your well being and they remember. They care enough to listen and remember you and what you share with them. They work very well with many dental ins companies. They have flex payment options. They handle emergency appointments as well as any practice I've been to. This was very impressive. Her dental hygienist, while a very nice, friendly and accommodating lady, is not very skilled. She gave way too much anesthesia than necessary for a root planing, lost track of what she was doing and started working on the wrong side halfway through, and was generally both rough and rushed in her work. She created new deep pockets that took months to heal! The front desk clerk has showed herself to be both curt and clueless multiple times. We'll be going elsewhere.

After 8 years with Dr. Dinn's office, I was informed, following a scheduled appointment for myself,…read morethat my family was basically 'fired' because in 8 years I had to reschedule appointments for my two children on approximately 5 occasions, the most recent (2 mos prior) had been due to a 15 minute scheduling discrepancy between what I had on my appointment card and that which the office sent via text the day before/of. I was informed that the office would no longer schedule appointments except same day for me or my children. I was flabbergasted! The second most recent rescheduled appointment? Two years prior when I had given the office the front office over a week's notice. I actually had the office print out the entire history of our family appointments to show the woman the I had given ample notice (because I am actually a very considerate person) and was not inconsiderate of their time she had suggested. The whole experience was humiliating, having had to address this matter in front of other patients in the waiting area. The woman at the front office (not receptionist) was condescending and unwilling to acknowledge that indeed, in 8 years we had only rescheduled a few times (including a blizzard), despite having the evidence in front of her. Following the appointment, I was told that because my children were polite, Dr. Dinn would allow us to stay on as patients, but the same day only appointment rule would stand. Thank you, but no thank you. They charged me $120 to have my records transferred to our new dentist.
