The amazing dentist that used to work there left this practice over a year ago. I had thousands of dollars of work done (which I was bullied into doing). I was told the dentist could not replace my crown without doing all of these other procedures. I needed the crown on my front tooth fixed because it's my front tooth! After being "talked to" by the office manager for 45 minutes, I just gave in. The office manager is rude, manipulative, and pushy. Her family actually owns that practice so she benefits financially from money made. Staff turnover is incredibly high and you will never see the same Person twice. Besides the office manager, the person who has been there the longest has been there for 7 months. My dental work was done terribly. I now have to go to another dentist to have it all fixed for a TON of money. I ended up having to go to 6 appointments for a few fillings (which are done so badly, I have to have root canals done) and a new crown. The actual procedure was incredibly painful and I had to direct the dentist where to properly place the Novocain. When I was having pain over a week later, the dentist had literally no solution for me. I had to seek out another dentist to fix his shoddy work. These people are idiots and are only concerned with making money. I don't know who looks at yelp reviews before choosing a dentist but I hope this saves someone some pain, time and money!!

The appointment was rushed; at one point I watched Ms. La Roche literally tapping her fingers with impatience bc my THREE year old was not calm. There was no explanation about what was going to happen. No gradual exam. Just an immediate "ok lay down." No fun information or education about teeth or brushing. No parental guidance regarding the "cavity" or brushing. Nothing. We were rushed out with a form and a number to call to set up anesthesia. This dentist practice is alarmingly dangerous, irresponsible and untrustworthy. They are greedy and evil- claiming that TODDLERS have cavities and must have sedation. I got a second opinion with another dentist who said my daughter's teeth are quite healthy and there's absolutely no cavities and remarked how dangerous it was for her to suggest sedation. When telling this story to others, parents immediately knew I was talking about this company. Before I even mentioned the office name or location, they guessed it was tender care dentistry. They have a reputation for sadistic behavior. If you want your child to be unnecessarily scarred by people that have no interest in your child's safety or dental health, this is your office. I am also in touch with the state board of dentistry regarding my complaints so hopefully there will be some action. Do. Not. Take. Your. Kids. Here.

Years and years ago (12 years ago), I went to Dr. Aharon because I had just moved to the area and had begun working as a contractor. I had to pay out-of-pocket for dental insurance, so it seemed there were few that actually accepted Delta Dental (HMO). That said, I found her online and she was close. I had no idea that there could be such incompetence when it came to insurance accredited practitioners. Boy, was I wrong. I will never forget this as long as I live, as it was a traumatizing experience. First of all, the day I came in, she had no dental hygienists. I came in for a cleaning and a checkup. She apologizes and tells me, she'll do it along with the exam. She puts me in a room that is in need of cleaning and some updates. It hardly felt like a sterile environment. Next, this guy walks in (in just standard business casual wear) and begins asking me questions from my new patient questionnaire. He seems like he has no idea what he's doing. He puts on gloves. At one point while asking me questions, he sticks his fingers in my mouth without much warning at all. He carries on using the gloves to write things down, then goes to put his fingers back in my mouth. WHAT? I don't even believe he was a trained dental assistant or anything. Super unsanitary. All this to say, Dr. Aharon came in, did a pretty quick job at "cleaning" my teeth. The whole time she is in my mouth, she is trying to tell me that I probably have sleep apnea. She attempts multiple times to get me to rent some machine from her. It was the most bizarre doctor visit I'd ever had, to say the least. When she tells me I have two cavities and goes to schedule an appointment to fill them, I tell her I'll call to make that appointment. As I'm going out the door, she's still trying to get me to rent some sleep apnea testing equipment. Good grief. And there was no way I was letting this woman fill cavities! I paid my copays, but I never came back. Luckily, I found another dentist who was super sympathetic and helpful, willing to give me an exam and cleaning for the price of my copays, even though Dr. Aharon used up my insurance's allotment. Have you seen this lady's reviews on every platform? I was hoping this was experience was some sort of fluke or off day, but it looks like she shouldn't even be practicing. I even called Delta Dental about her when this happened. Anyway, the fact that she has the nerve to say I owe money? After that experience? After all these years? For a "cleaning" when she had no hygienists there? Wow. This lady might have more problems than being a bad dentist.

I was a patient at McNeil Dental for several years, and unfortunately my experience there became…read moreextremely disappointing. One of the worst situations happened when I went in to have a painful tooth looked at and was told I urgently needed a root canal on my molar. I was already in the chair, in severe pain and literally in tears, while Dr. McNeil spent about 45 minutes discussing the situation before eventually telling me she could not perform the procedure because it was the end of the day. It was a Friday, and despite calling it an emergency, the earliest they could get me back in was the following week. Thankfully, another dentist was able to squeeze me in the very next day and completed the root canal without issue. What has been even more upsetting is what I later discovered about the crowns I had done there. I'm young, have always maintained excellent dental hygiene, and noticed that ever since getting two upper crowns done, both sides of my mouth would bleed heavily. I brought up my concerns and was repeatedly told everything looked normal on X-rays. A year later, I saw a new dentist who immediately identified major problems with the crown work. I was told there were gaps around the crowns that allowed bacteria and infection to form underneath. I now have two infected crowns and have been informed that every crown done at this office needs to be redone -- only about a year after having them placed. I specifically invested in getting extensive dental work completed while I had good insurance because I believed this office was reputable. Looking back now, I feel extremely let down by the level of care, attention, and quality of work I received.
