The absolute worst dentist, my son has been a patient here for a few years, and every time they "filled" a cavity my son complains about tooth pain, I just took him here last week for complaints about tooth issues, and he's still having issues. I am looking for another dentist, these so-called dentists need their license revoked. They better be lucky I'm not going in my Solomon Keys for their piss poor performance. Disgraceful!!! read more

Made an appointment got there waited an hour and a half still no service. Rescheduled for today at 11 and the WAIT was going to be over an hour. That's not how you do business I will never return to THIS LOCATION. Child missed school basically for no reason because we didn't get service. This place is horrible!!! first time here the tv was WAY TO LOUD in the waiting room ( I could barley think what I was doing. Got back to the exam room.. it was okay VERY LITTLE seating for parents wanting to come back ( a mask is REQUIRED, come on it's been 4 years ) my phone rang and the lady told me no cell phones. I am currently looking for a new dentist cuz ain't no way a dental office can be so unprofessional. I honest don't think it's the staff but the dentist, UNPROFESSIONAL. She doesn't listen and I have been back 4 times with my SN child for the same procedure and each time it's a reason they can't do it. They should look at the child's chart the day before and ask appropriate question instead of when the child arrive and then say no. If I could give this office a negative zero I would. Also the wait time is horrendous. They have kids just waiting in the back for the longest. Great staff, HORRIBLE scheduling. They schedule the children back to back, causing the wait to be long and the children to be idle in the back even longer. Parents will sit in the lobby thinking their kids are being serviced when the dentistry just sits them in another waiting room out of your eye sight. I highly recommend morning appointments if you can and to steer clear of afternoon appointments. I also recommend going back with your kids to make sure they are being thoroughly serviced. read more

If you love long wait times and unprofessional office staff, then this is the place for you! During our time with this specific location, there was always a long wait from over scheduling, attitudes from the staff, and negligence. My child was seen for treatment and was given laughing gas. After treatment was finished, they turned their back on my child and he fell on the floor and hit his head. Of course this was not mentioned to me at all, I found out after my child complained of a headache and I questioned him. This issue was never resolved. As for care quality? I will give them 1/5. In my experience they do not speak to the children on their level, they are too worried about chit chatting with each other and checking their phones, which I witnessed myself on many occasions. Turning your back on a child that was under laughing gas and then not admitting your mistake to the child's parent afterwards if pretty crappy any way you try to "doctorsplain" it. read more

Called to reschedule an appointment and I called twice. Both times I was on hold over 15 minutes and no one ever returned to talk to me. One time I was even hung up on. The doctors are friendly but it isn't worth the headache the front office causes. The scheduling is always a battle too. They want to schedule a procedure but there is nothing except 5 months out and even then, completely undesirable times for kids. With the implementation of COVID practices, it's made this office even worse. I can't wait for one child who doesn't want to be left alone back there, but then I have another 5 year old to wrangle and they want us waiting in the car. Where to start, the visit was ok, same as any other Children's Dentist office, the issue is with billing. We visited for an annual check-up which is covered by our insurance. Upon booking the appointment I made sure that everything would be covered by insurance and they said it would. During the appointment, they said our son had a cavity and would require a crown and filling, scheduled for the following month and left. This was just before Covid hit in 2020, so in march they called and canceled his appointment and said they wouldn't know when they would open so I canceled and took him to a new Dentist, they said they could just pull that tooth and put a spacer in since the permanent tooth was about to come in, either way, saved me the $500. SO about a year later I get a bill for $112 dollars for Dentistry from Children, I call and they say that the insurance denied my claim, I told them the insurance was still valid and they should file it again. That is the last I hear about it until I look at my credit report to see they sent it to collections and my score dropped 39 points. I called again to get an explanation and they now say that it was the panoramic x-ray that the insurance denied. I asked why they did an x-ray that wasn't covered by insurance when I made it clear at the beginning I only wanted what was covered by the annual check-up. They responded that they talked to the insurance and it was covered. I asked if it was covered why do I have a bill, to which they responded that it is only covered sometimes?? To which I asked why they didn't get preauthorization if it isn't always covered and they stated they don't do preauthorization. the 2 takeaways are to 1: Go to a general dentist if you can, most children dentistry's are out for as much $$$ as they can get with unnecessary procedures, 2: If you do go make sure that you go over everything before your child goes back and call your insurance so you don't get hit with a bill a year after your visit. read more

The staff was awesome! My 5 yr old was very nervous and scared and they helped him calm down and He cooperated great . They are very informative on what they're doing. My son had both Ashley's and they were fantastic with him. I can't remember the dentist's name but she was also very friendly. The people at the front desk were also very helpful and polite. The people here are patient and kind. My daughter has been several times and has not been a cooperative patient. However the staff there have been supportive and have always tried to get as much of the exam completed without making her cry or any more scared. Yesterday she finally made it all of the way through the whole exam...xrays, cleaning, flouride treatment and the exam! Woo hoo! The people at the front were helpful concerning my insurance questions too! The facility is clean and very kid friendly with beautiful murals, a tree house, video games and lots of other fun for kids. If you're looking for a children's dentist check them out! read more

We LOVE Dentistry for Children! I have 4 children who have been coming here for about 5 years. We have never had a bad experience. All of the ladies are friendly and great with my kids. They always thoroughly explain any treatments with me. The wait can be a little longer, but they are busy because they are the best in my opinion. Oh, and the waiting room is awesome sauce, I don't have to keep the littles still they can actually have fun while waiting. read more

Will not be returning to Dentistry for Children Conyers. The front desk staff is uninviting and never can address any concerns I have with billing and coverage (they act as if i'm asking them dental questions). They never check the coverage of work being done before the appointment and there are always some sort of issue with billing side. The office manager, Amy is very rude and unhelpful leaves you with even less understanding. Just goes on & on about policies hoping to shut you down with. It's just too exhausting doing business here, even though the services in the back are not a problem. Based on how the management interacts with parents, it gives off the feeling that they have more than enough patients and don't really need you as one. Maybe that's the reason why they don't care...they have more patients then they need. read more

Their office is nice and my kids loved the i-pads, video games, and overall atmosphere. The staff and Doctor were very nice. My rating gets 1 star because they are VERY aggressive in their treatment plans which equals big bucks when treatment is not necessary. Their prices were hundreds of dollars more when compared to other dentists in the area. Do not be fooled, you are definitely paying for the iPads and the cute murals ls on the walls. read more

Horrible experience. I recently took my daughter here since we relocated to the Conyers area. Upon walking in, my daughter instantly fell in love with the waiting area. Lots of activities to keep the kids active while waiting (which is a long wait). Once we were in the back everything moved pretty fast. I was told that my daughter had 10 cavities and needed multiple crowns. Not once was I able to see her x-rays or consult with the dentist to discuss a treatment plan. I was instantly handed a treatment plan (which would cost thousands of dollars) and an orthodontist referral (which was never discussed or explained). Horrible customer service. As a mom, I would have liked to talk to the dentist and have the analysis and treatment plan discussed. Instead, I was told this is what needs to be done ASAP. I took her back to her old dentist for a second opinion and was told a complete different story (which costs half of the price quoted by Dentistry for Children). I will not be returning! read more

It is a clean and safe environment with a lot of interactive things to keep the children entertained. It is spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is so sweet and genuinely nice to the parents and children. Parents and children are greeted warmly in the front by Amy and DeAndria. Everyone is professional and make you feel as though they really care about your child's health. I would highly recommend this dentist office. read more
