The front desk representative was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. After completing my paperwork, I was taken back quickly. The hygienist asked me about my tooth pain and was incredibly kind and empathetic, which immediately helped calm my nerves. The dentist then came in, introduced herself, and took the time to listen to my concerns. She quickly identified the cause of my pain and explained that my wisdom tooth needed to be removed. I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Lagomarsino was absolutely amazing. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire process. I didn't feel the needle or any pain during the extraction. I was honestly shocked that I went through with it so easily, and at one point I even thought I could have the other one removed as well--that's how comfortable the entire staff made me feel. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I am so happy I found my new dentist.

The reason she gave was that i needed a lot of work which isn't true. The most I would need are some cavities filled, a cleaning and a possible extraction. I was not given a exact reason for me being dumped as a patient. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. So now I have to find another dentist. I have removed the positive review that I wrote 5 months ago. Please people be careful this could happen to you.

I have been going to Dr Shacknow for many years, will never change dentists. Dr. Shacknow picked up on a lesion in my husband's mouth, which was cancer. The surgeon from Columbia told us it was a "good pick up" and, as a result, the lesion was removed and my husband is cancer free! Highly recommend Dr. Shacknow and his staff.

Made the appt for the following week and called multiple times to confirm that they received the referral which they said they did only to find out they didn't when we came in the second time and made us wait for over an hour. Save your self the headache and annoyance and go somewhere where they have actual professionals. If the administration is this poor I can only imagine how bad the dr is. If I could give zero star I would.

The cleanings are always great and the hygienists always double check. One example I can give of how great Doctor Rizzo is when I called up and said that I got my tooth knocked out in a hockey game. He had me in there the next day with the molding done to get a permanent fake tooth and he had me out of there in the mean time with a temp and I was able to show my face at work that morning. Quality and care is what Dr. rizzo and his team show.

He knows his profession, doesn't super-size your experience with up-selling services. The staff at Smiles by Rizzo echo their leadership example. They're all warmly welcoming, knowledgeable, and ease any apprehensions about your visits to the dentist. The office itself is a nice blend of professional, warmth, and old school (not dated) - not the cold, post industrial norm for medical offices. In the 2 decades I've visited Dr Rizzo, I've met his mother, wife and 2 boys working there at one time or another. Those encounters cemented the "family" bond in his practice and affirmed our family's confidence and great comfort in faithfully returning for all of our dental needs. From appearances, patients are treated like an extension of family.

All of the sudden he quit and in the middle of my work I got Doctor GULLERMO CASTILLO; first time he introduces himself he was just extremely rude told me the other Dr left and that he does things his way (whatever that meant). He then kept making me go back repeatedly to do the minimal work in my mouth like several different visits for a crown fitting and taking repeated crown impressions on the same tooth. After the other doctor left I went to see Doctor Castillo about 3 times for a crown fitting for one tooth and I still needed a crown on another tooth and still until today NO CROWN! When I would ask him questions he would get defensive, rude, and on my last visit I had enough after I asked him so what are we doing today? and he said he doesn't wanna hear it from me! lol.. he also got defensive and said my insurance doesn't pay him per visit! this is a lie since I see this doctor has been under insurance fraud investigation...STAY AWAY FROM HERE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. Every time I went for a dental clean up every six months, according to them "Everything is fine!" My cleanings would never consists of going in between each tooth, ONLY AROUND THE TEETH. Today, 10/16/2019, I began to go to a new dentist office. They took x-rays and explained to me their findings of what was wrong. I WAS FURIOUS! Because the last time I was seen at Castillo & Mulkay's office was 4/2019 AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE! I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT IF YOU GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE YOU SWITCH TO A NEW DENTIST IMMEDIATELY!!! DISGUSTING OF THEM TO GIVE FALSE INFORMATION AND RESULTS OF SOMEONE'S ORAL HYGIENE. SWITCHHHHH NOW!!! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!
