I am very disappointed with the way this clinic operates. It is shocking that this situation is still allowed to continue without any action being taken. The clinic does not appear to have a doctor on-site. Instead, a few staff members schedule appointments, and when you arrive, they simply look into your mouth, take notes, and say they will discuss everything with a doctor who is supposedly visiting the following week. After that, there is no follow-up. Even if you call, the only response you receive is that they will call you back -- but they never do. Meanwhile, they charge hundreds of dollars to your insurance or send bills directly to you and aggressively follow up on payments, despite not providing proper treatment. This practice feels misleading and unprofessional. Patients deserve transparency, qualified care, and honest billing practices -- none of which I experienced here. read more

I am sorry to hear this office has closed, but, I agree with others the office was poorly managed. The office is close for me to get to. Now we have to drive to Cranberry, which is the closest for me. From supplies, to some of the staffing not really knowing what they are doing. The one girl at the front desk was sacked out. I went to this office many years ago when it first opened up. Although the dentist at that time was wonderful with all his patients, he later had some issues in his personal life and he lost his position there. I don't believe any of those issues were carried over in the office. That office worked like a dream from the front to the back. I miss those times and that dentist. But you can't have problems like that carrying into the office and staff. When I took a chance and returned to the office, it was nothing like it was before. Very haphazard and not healthy for any patient. I did see a female dentist, something like Dr. Bahia, and I did like her and her techniques and how she worked with the assistant. My experience at dental works robinson was THE WORST experience I have ever had with ANY type of service. First, I made an appointment (!!!) in March of 2024 and sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. There were no other patients in the waiting room and I was not called back until I told the receptionist I had to leave, as I have a job and had to get back to work. When I got taken back, I told the hygienist that I did not have time for any service today, but she insisted that I receive x-rays. I was in pain, so I obliged. I was then told nothing was wrong and so I basically wasted my time. Whatever!! I went somewhere else later that week and obtained appropriate services. Fast forward to February of 2025 (yes, almost a full year later!) and I receive a bill in the mail for this appointment. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous, so I called the office. Turns out, the office staff billed the wrong insurance! This means that my private health information was shared with an insurance company I have no affiliation with and have never had coverage from (a HIPPA violation!!!). If my proper insurance had been billed, I never would have received a bill in the mail. However, since basically a year had passed at that point, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I had to pay. Ridiculous!! Now, it is September of 2025 and I have been calling dental works robinson for 7 months trying to figure this out. Coincidentally, 75% of the times I have called, the office had been closed and the staff was gone for the day!! I only ever called between the hours of 9-5 on weekdays, so I am unsure how they were closed this often! When I did get ahold of a customer service representative, I was told that my case would marked as HIGH PRIORITY and someone would call me back asap. Guess what I never got? A call back!!! Finally, I got angry and demanded to speak to the office staff. I was told that someone named Kim would call be back. I waited for this call, while also continuing to call for an update, for about 4 months. Does Kim even work there? I am sooo confused!!! I have still not heard from her!!! I continue to get bills sent to my home and email address, but nobody can assist me and this woman named Kim has yet to do her job and provide me with the courtesy of returning one of my many many phone calls. All of this to say, DO NOT go to this establishment unless you want to have a horrible experience and have it follow you for the next year plus. Who knows how long this will go on... I would rather get a root canal in every single tooth (somewhere else obviously!!!!) than ever set foot in the vicinity of dental works robinson ever again. read more

If you go to this office for Orthodontics AND you have insurance coverage, DO YOUR HOMEWORK on what your insurance pays BEFORE signing a contract. They overestimated what my insurance coverage was and stuck me with a bill AFTER my treatment was completed. I had a running balance FOR A YEAR that I was told I didn't have to pay because they were billing my insurance. As soon as I finished treatment, they surprised me with a call from a collections agency. After a discussion with the new office manager and my insurance we discovered that they overestimated my treatment cost by a few HUNDRED dollars. Additionally, the new Orthodontist, Dr. Rio Alesna, has TERRIBLE bed side manner. If you respectfully tell her not to talk crazy to you, she will listen. I started Clear Arc there in October of 2024 with a female orthodontist. I had her for months and then my last appointment in june they had a man look at my stuff without even knowing me or anything and said "oh well you need to di another round so well get those made and you can pick them up July 2". So July 1st comes around and I get a call from them saying "we need to cancel your appointment because hes new and hes getting used to things" and i said well all I needed to do was pick up my retainers so can i do that? and she then told me "they never even did them. So im paying for something that they arent even doing and i have been calling since July 7th and i got the support team "oh were so sorry well leave a message with them and theyll get back to you in 24-48 hours. Never got a call back. so i called their office and finally got someone there and shes like oh im so sorry i have to ask them and ill call you right back. its been 3 days. I tried to call the day after 6 times. No answer, just the support team. So i called again today Friday July 11, guess what? got the support team again. "oh theyll call you back on monday or tuesday. yeah thats what you said last time. This place is so unprofessional and i am on the verge of just saying fuck this place and going to find a new dentist. because this has to be the worst place ive ever been to. read more

I moved here and was looking for a new dentist. I decided to try DentalWorks. I will never go back. Last year was my first visit. I cannot even begin to comment on all of the dead bugs I looked at while staring at the ceiling. I know it is Pittsburgh and we have bugs, but I am talking hundreds of different dead bugs in the lights I was looking up at. Then the dirt and grime around the edges of the floors was also terrible. I felt like it was very unsanitary. Moving on. Everyone was really nice. What happened next was awful. The dentist came over with a new apprentice. The dentist started the procedure and then left me there mid-procedure. Long story short, my procedure was turned over to the apprentice without any advance warning. The dentist explained that the person would be taking over while I was mid procedure but not before. I had no choice. So, I sat there with the apprentice for one of the longest appointments I have ever had. Then we had to wait even longer for the work to be checked. It was a filling! I have never had a filling take an hour and a half--especially since half the time I sat there with all the stuff in my mouth with the apprentice and I staring at each other waiting for the actual dentist to come back. I was going to have my husband come to DentalWorks if I liked them. Needless to say, I changed to another dentist who I absolutely love and so does my husband. Check out Aspen Dental on Campbells! Staff in the office were wonderful. Dental care was great...once you get a hold of anyone. First experience- I scheduled myself and my son, took off work and school, showed up for our first appointments and they didn't have us on the books. Second issue is not being able to get a hold of anyone at the office. I have called 10 times during business hours and have gotten through maybe twice. Billing is always messed up, unclear, or not properly put through insurance. Corporate is a mess. I had to call so many times because they billed insurance incorrectly. I was trying to get them to rebill insurance, and they said they'd get it fixed and call me back, but they sent my 10 yo son to collections instead. Steer clear. read more

Totally SCAM!!! Went to have a tooth repaired on my denture ONLY . No other services needed. They took X-ray which is not necessary. I paid $136 upfront for my copay. It happened 12-14-23. Fast forward to October 2023 I got a bill that I need to pay $573. I called them and they said it wasn't billed to my insurance. Gave them insurance number and they billed them because I got the EOB from my insurance after a week or so and the check was forwarded to DentalWorks Robinson. (The services codes on the EOB are outrageous because some of them didn't happen like filling. Again I went there for a tooth repair only). I even went to the office to show them the copy of my EOB. I spoke to supervisor Kim and she assured me that it will be taken care of. Jenny the owner was out of town. After a week I got the same billing again in the mail. And it says "2nd attempt ". I called them again and they said they haven't gotten the check yet. After a week again I got another EOB from my insurance and 2 days later Jenny the owner gave me a call saying they got the check and it was forwarded to their office in Minnesota. And today few days after talking to the owner, I got a bill again, same amount and this time it says "Final Reminder Notice ". So I called and spoke to the owner again and she said she will email the person in billing department to put my account on hold until the payment clears. The stress I got from this company is unbearable! Bunch of crooks! If they won't fix this I'm gonna have to expose their wrongdoings to the media! I had two scheduling issues early on where the appt got cancelled and I had already taken off work. the straw that broke the Camels back is having 5 visits just to get a crown installed and I STILL DONT HAVE MY PERMANENT CROWN IN. I have been a client at Dental works for 15 years. I have never missed an appointment until 2 weeks ago (I am a healthcare worker and something came up). I was called that afternoon and we rescheduled for 2 weeks later. I went to my appointment, had x rays, and a cleaning. (No dentist was in the office). When i got home I received a bill for $35 for a missed appointment. When I called, this is their policy? I do have dental insurance and I am waiting to receive my statement. I feel confident i will be charged for an examination, x rays, and cleaning, again no dentist was in the office. There is a new $10 charge for PPE?? What did they change? The staff has always worn a mask, face shield, gown and gloves. Another way to gouge the patient or insurance. I have been a faithful client and the dentists have come and gone for various reasons, I will never go back there. In these unprecedented times you would expect better customer service. read more

My wife and I went in to have two fillings replaced each on Feb 18, 2020. I had a challenge getting numb on my left side but they did get it with 2 shots. They tech who worked on me was horrible! She was rough and unskilled but polite which I suppose should make up for her ineptness. She was very chatty with her co-workers and laughing while looking at them as she had instruments in my mouth! As she was filling my tooth, the water would fill my mouth and then she would stop and get the suction as I almost gag. She over filled my tooth with the material so my other teeth would not even touch eachother. She sanded the filling material 3 times before the doctor came to correct the situation. It took the doctor 2 additional tries to correct the tooth. I almost did not let them work on my second filling. It went smoother because the doctor did the whole procedure. After the work was complete, i had strange side effects. At work, my jaw would not close properly at times. I had to carefully close it and I even used my hands to make sure the teeth were aligned because half of my face was still numb. I called the office and they said that happens. I could hardly open my mouth to eat because my jaw was sore. At home, i had the same problem, it hurt to open my mouth. As of this morning, my jaw still hurts. I did chew up my inside cheek where it was numb which was not great. Also my lip was split because of the work they did. Both the tech and the doctor were shoving instruments in my mouth at the same time. They seemed surprised i was apprehensive. I feel terrible that the doctor that was helping my wife came to help me. My wife's replacements are terrible. They are uneven and they left material on the side of the teeth. At home, chunks were falling off her teeth as we were having dinner. My wife was not sure who did the work, but we are going to a different dentist to fix this abomination . I've been going to DentalWorks for a few years now with billing and scheduling problems here & there. There's apparently only one person at the office that can discuss billing matters, and she doesn't seem to be in the office that often. At the time of my most recent appointment however, I called with over 24 hours notice to cancel as I was not feeling well. I left a message and given it was a Sunday, I figured they were most likely not in the office. Late Monday morning, they called me to ask if I needed to reschedule and informed me that I'd be charged a $35 cancellation fee for not providing 24 hours notice. I let them know that I did provide over 24 hours notice but they seemingly don't check their messages that frequently. The receptionist replied, "OK".. but I've been receiving a bill for $35 every month since then. I finally just paid it since no one competent would return my calls and I didn't want that on my financial history/record. Needless to say I won't be returning. There are plenty of other dentists in Robinson that offer more consistent providers and more structured billing details. I don't recommend this one. read more

Terrible management. My son had a teeth whitening appointment in May. This is another story in itself which involved a scheduling issue but mistakes happen and I can understand that. However my main problem with this practice is that they were supposed to mail two dental trays to our house as a follow-up to the visit. I started calling two weeks after his initial visit to let them know we had not received these trays. To date I have not received them. I have approximately 15 calls into this office. Each call they assured me they were mailed, they would mail again, they would expedite them!!!! Now their office manager will not even return my call. Never have I dealt with a more incompetent office. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

They did not even curtesy to offer the service. The front desk women bluntly said we cannot provide the service today despite of having an appoint. I have been going to this place for over 10 years as it is one of only two local places that take my company's DMO plan (which is good coverage). No major complaints....however, something recently happened to them where their administration and scheduling and coverage is now complete mess and seems to be handled by a skeleton crew. I've been trying to call and talk to someone there for weeks - calling 3-4 times a day and NO ONE ever answers the phone. I left multiple messages and someone once called me back at 8AM when I was in the shower and missed it and now trying to call back and no one answering again for a week! Their billing is also a complete mess for me when it wasn't as bad before. The major issues started about 1.5 years ago so think it's new management (maybe due to turnover from the pandemic?) or something and they are doing a horrible job. I honestly worry if just one day it will close down forever and leave people like me who are in the middle of some long term treatments high and dry. read more

Sydney and Dr. Anzurs were both so very helpful to me and the front desk receptionist. When I walked in the door she was very helpful! I was a new client there and was super nervous because my last dentist messed up my tooth. However, Sydney took my x-rays and did a great job assisting Dr. Anzurs as they fixed my tooth! I was very pleased with how polite they were and their great attention to detail for fixing my tooth to not make it look crooked like the last dentist did before. This place is a scam . Do not go ! Do not pay before your insurance company send you the claim that how much you actually own . They overcharge me hundreds dollars because they just calculating the coverage wrong at the front desk and refused to refund even provide them the tracking number for the money insurance company paid . That's your company's internal finance problem don't hold that against your customer if you admitted you overcharged but not giving their money back ! I've been dying from pain coming from an exposed nerve. After letting the doc look at xrays and tell me what the next steps were and how tremendously expensive it is going to be for the root canal and all that jazz. He asked if I had been taking anything for the pain and I said I had been taking excedrin for the migraine and advil for all the other stuff, neither of which worked. He said he would write me a script for the amoxicillin and what he called "pain meds"...it was a script for Motrin. Screw you. You saw that there is a hole in my tooth and you didn't give a damn about me when I said I would have to wait to get up enough money. Motrin. Is. Advil. I can't eat/ sleep/ drink/ talk/ breath without shooting pains. Have a bit more sympathy, doc. Your wallet isn't hurting but my mouth is;realign your priorities. read more

Dental Works Robinson already has so many bad reviews I thought maybe I would not tell of my experience. I am 79 years old and have always taken care to have dental care done. I enrolled in Dental Works yearly plan. The dentist that replaced a cap was often chatting about how accomplished he was, that seemed strange to me. He replaced a cap $800. A couple months after the cap was on, it s split and a piece of it jabbed me in my check. The practice manager was SO SEEMINGLY SINCERE, I keep believing her but she never followed through to get my money back. The story is not simple. The Dentist told me I needed to have my dental bridge replaced. I asked to see the details in the x-ray but he kept double talking about how bad I needed the replacement but never showed me the x-ray. They wanted $1800 to do the repair. I was stressed for several weeks concerning how I would get the money before I went to another dentist. I did not tell them why I wanted the bridge examined and x-rayed. I was shocked after they clearly and in detail showed me there was no problem. I spoke with not only the practice manager, but the regional supervisor. OMG they were so nice, so convincing that they would handle all the issues immediately. They never did anything and after weeks of checking back week after week they continued their sweet talk and promises. I believed them but nothing was ever done, now several months later. I have been going here since they moved out of sears 8 yrs ago, they have rotating dentists through, but I have always had good service and treatments there. However, the place is looking really shabby, from the furniture in the lobby to the cleanliness of the equipment . Nothing has been updated or improved in 8 yrs which has me concerned, that no one is "minding the store". This is a national company and needs to be reinvesting its profits into its stores. I am in healthcare myself so I know if the equipment and working conditions become run down, people loose pride in their workplace and become lackadaisical in their jobs. Loosing repeat, loyal customers will be the beginning of the end. read more
