Everything was fine until Dr. Pollack BROKE my surrounding molar while extracting my wisdom teeth. He told me about while I was coming off of sedation so of course I had no recollection of it until I regained feeling in my mouth and felt the sharp edge of my tooth. Luckily, my sister got a video of him telling me and his first response was "I didn't even pull that hard, it must've already been broken." Mind you I have TWO very recent sets of X-rays which say otherwise. I already have pretty bad dental anxiety but I have tried to be proactive to try to avoid more costly and extensive repairs in the future... I called the office the Monday after my wisdom teeth extraction (which was the Friday before) to try and get some more information about what happened (and to see how they plan to repair or at least pay for the repair of my tooth) and this dude (Dr. Pollack) is on vacation. The lady on the phone just tells me to call back next week when he's back because there's nothing she can do. I call the next Monday and he is STILL on vacation!! The lady on the phone told me that he'd be back Wednesday. Today is Wednesday. I called again this morning, and STILL.NO. RESPONSE. To have caused me even more dental trauma by breaking my tooth (which will definitely need to be repaired), not check up after doing so (or have anyone from his office check in about the tooth) and have me jump through all of these hoops just to speak with him... is unbelievable. I am not sure of the type of business these people are running. The reviews SEEMED great which is why, even though I have so much anxiety, I decided to trust Dr. Pollack with my care. Looks like I was wrong to do so. This office will not stop hearing from me, and I will not stop sharing this unbecoming experience, until this situation is rectified to my liking.

He assured me he would review and give me his best professional advice even if it wasn't something he was able to correct or repair as in save a tooth that a crown replacement caused some pain. Unfortunately the root was cracked so a re-treat of a root was not possible and it will eventually need to be extracted. Not super excited because before the crown was replaced it never hurt but during the install of the first crown there were issues so it was most likely just destined to eventually fail. I appreciated their kindness and reassuring me the advice my dentist gave to possibly extract would be the best solution.
