Dental Nightmare would be an appropriate name. Be forewarned, DO NOT COME HERE! Mainly because the place is dirty. First step to Health is to maintain a sanitary environment. After my x-rays, I did not want any other services from this location. However, they submitted a request for further work with my insurance. When I asked them to release the request, they did everything but. It prevented me from getting the services I needed elsewhere. I contacted my insurance provider several times, and they had to intercede and call their office. My premonitions were right, they were never going to honor my request. Furthermore, they were rude and did not know how to operate the platform. Ignorance is not an excuse to keep a client's health at bay. Picking up the phone and calling the insurance company, Like I did, would have been an easy first step on their part. The front house reception: I spoke to Kinnea, Shelby, and a third girl who were all incompetent. A bad Yelper, I should have read all the horrible reviews but I thought a routine visit wouldn't matter. Wrong! The dentist and assistant were okay, but not enough to win over my confidence.

My issue is that after just 2 hours from leaving this office I was in a crazy amount of pain while i was at the dentist getting fillings done, I asked if i needed a root canal because even though she numbed me I could still feel the pain .. she said no I don't need it and to stick it out we were almost done .. I have had fillings done before and they never felt like this.. I called the office and they wouldnt see me and told me to wait for my doctor to call.. I asked what do they do with emergency patients that were just seen there.. they had no idea and tried to act like what i was going through was normal... mind you I currently work in healthcare and in dental before. I asked can I be seen for them to double check the work she said no .. the dr called me after office hours and told me she can see me in the afternoon the next day.. but didnt offer any medication or what to do with this pain.. luckily i was able to contact a new office who allows emergency appointments and they said the Doctor drilled too deep the next day I went in for a root canal A2 smile called me and asked for my review .. I want a refund for my filings

Warm, kind, patient, and professional are certainly what you might want to find in your neighborhood dentist and is exactly what you'll find with Dr. Lee and his staff. Fillings, cleanings, extractions, etc. I think they can do it all and with the bedside manner of an angel. He makes connections to agrees oral surgeons and pediatric care providers as needed. We had some Confusing billing issues a few years ago but I think they have that resolved now. They do have a propensity to do X-rays... Frequently and I'm Not sure that teeth need this so often but I chalk this up to their sense of thoroughness. I switched to Comprehensive on a recommendation from a friend after a new job's dental insurance…read morewas not accepted by my longterm dentist. While I have always found the front desk staff and dental hygienists incredibly friendly, the office business practices and my overall experience surrounding a dental crown left me unsatisfied with my care and a new anxiety around visiting the dentist. 1. Many people have mentioned their up front billing methods and constant attempts to upsell patients. While I cannot confirm that I was specifically overbilled for any procedure, I did feel like I constantly was having services pushed on me for extra fees. I also noticed at a certain point they stopped asking me about a flouride treatment that was an additional fee and just started completing the treatment and asking for payment. While this wasn't a massive strain on my finances at the time, it could really cause issues for patients who are on strict budgets from month to month. 2. I had a crown put on in March of 2021, in October of 2023 the crown fell out while on vacation out of state. I was able to book quickly to have the crown put back in but was frustrated with the brushing off my concerns around how quickly it seemed to have issues. When I returned for my normal cleaning a few months later I expressed my anxiety and fear of the crown falling out again and my concern about flossing around the crown pulling it out. I felt the doctor dismissed my concerns without any real empathy and I left the office without feeling at ease about this. 3. When I was without dental insurance for a time and was not able to afford a visit due to strained finances they did offer me their insurance plan which was more than the cost of the cleaning. I'm not sure why they thought I could afford that but not the cleaning. They continued to refer to this and all of their services as an "investment" which for me personally felt gross (though this could be a petty complaint on my end). I have since been able to return to my longtime dentist and am much happier. I do NOT recommend this office, but I do sincerely hope their services and practices improve for the sake of their patients and staff.

For any teeth extraction, avoid this place at all costs. I got my wisdom teeth removed here, and not only was it traumatizing, but it also destroyed my sinuses. During my procedure, I woke up multiple times to them physically restraining me rather than providing more medication for the pain. They did not tell me that my teeth were impacted and that this would affect the pain during and after the procedure. Two days after my procedure, my face swelled quite badly, and as soon as the doctor who treated me (Dr. Mazen Aly) saw me, he said, "Haha, chipmunk," and proceeded to keep laughing in my face about my appearance without addressing it until I practically begged him to help me. When I was in so much pain post-procedure that I was blacking out and had to go to the ER, he told me, "Oh, well. Not much we can do, that's part of the process." In future visits, the owner (Dr. Ramy Attalla) belittled me, saying things like "Do not bite me, I am not evil" and acting as if I were ignorant and incapable of understanding the details of dentistry. 6 months post-procedure, and I still can't breathe properly through my nose. Dental house not only made me feel small and left me traumatized, but also destroyed part of my health in the process. Please avoid dental house if you can, it is a sketchy practice at BEST.

As a person who is terrified of dentists, I was unbelievably impressed by the care I got at…read moreEverwell. I needed to get a filling replaced after the old one fell out. Despite me being a new patient, they managed to get me in the very next day! I was seen by Dr. Heys and Silvana (dental assistant). I was told I had to get the tooth extracted since it had already started decaying/getting infected. The last time I had a tooth removed was in elementary school, which left me traumatized and hating going to the dentist. Initially, my answer was a solid no. I wanted ample sedation, and even then, I was ambivalent. With my board exam coming up, I also didn't want to lose even a few hours of studying, leaving me with 2 options: local anesthetics or nitrous (laughing gas). Although it turned out they don't carry nitrous, Dr. Heys personally called another dentist for me that she knew was good, had nitrous, and took my insurance - they would be able to get me in next week. Meanwhile, Silvana continued to reassure me that Dr. Heys is very gentle and that this would be a quick and simple procedure. She spent what must've been at least 30min-1h comforting me and answering my incessant questions (this was well beyond my appointment time). To my own surprise, I eventually consented. They gave me Bose noise-cancelling headphones playing music of my choice to calm me down, dark-tinted glasses to block out the overhead light, and continuously encouraged/reassured me throughout the entire process. At the time, I was still an anxious mess (completely a me-problem), so I'm very sorry they had to put up with that - but in retrospect, it was just as they said - no pain, just pressure. If I eliminated all internal anxieties, that was one of the most pain-free, benign dentist appointments I've ever had. I was told that I'd be sore the next day and that I should stick to mushy foods for the time being (my friends even warned me it'd be miserable). Turns out, the worst part, ironically, was when my mouth was still numb and felt like a chipmunk cheek. I prophylactically took some ibuprofen as the numbness wore off and by that night, I was pretty much pain-free and eating solid foods (bad patient, I know...). To top it all off, I got a card in the mail from Dr. Heys a few days later with a personalized hand-written note welcoming me to the practice. Everwell definitely went above and beyond my expectations. And who knows - this might be the one place to breakdown my wall of dental anxiety. tl;dr: - Empathetic, friendly, and caring staff that go above and beyond - Great at dealing with super anxious patients - High-quality work with great pain-control

After they completed the service the presented me my child in hysterics. The hygienist informed me that he cried through most of the procedure, had to be restrained, and was crying "no no" repeatedly. She said they "couldn't stop" so they put a device in his mouth to prop it open and continued through his cries. At no point was I ever alerted to what was happening with my child. I drove home listening my 3 year old sob and whimper "dentist is NOT nice!" Hours later he still was extremely shook up about it, so I called and spoke to Dr. Clark. He claimed my child was never restrained and didn't seam all that upset to him, a completely different story than I was originally told. When I told him how upset my kid was, he replied that "most kids get over it." I asked him IF we were ever to return if he would allow me to witness how my child was being treated in the examination room, and he continued on with his mantra of "in my experience, kids do better without their parents present" and "it's our office policy." The procedure should have stopped when my child became upset and I should have been brought in immediately. So now I have a young child who had a terrible first dental experience and is terrified to go back to the dentist and I have no clue what really happened. I will never bring my child somewhere where the parent is not allowed to view the procedure again. I should have listened to my gut when the policy felt like a giant red flag. I just hope the experience doesn't color his future dentist visits when we go to our next dentist.
