She told me the first dentist had broken a tool off in my tooth and I had nothing to worry about because she could fix it. With a glimmer of hope I gripped the arms of the dental chair and closed my eyes hoping for the best. She took the time to massage my gums and heat-up the needle before expertly numbing my mouth. The other 3 dentist would just jab around until they hit bone several time. She knew exactly where to inject and even vibrated the needle to lessen any discomfort. Her needle work is OUTSTANDING! For that reason alone I and my whole family have been going to Watson Dental for the last 15 years and will never go anywhere else. (and if Dr. Watson-Lowry is reading this: Thank You!)

Dr. G, the receptionist Sharell, and the other staff make me feel so welcome and taken care of!!! I found them during a dental emergency and they took me as soon as they opened! Same day. I was so relieved because the pain I was in, my funeral was being planned in my head. :( Dr.G went over my X rays with me in a way that I could understand and answered my questions without making me feel like an imbecile. Sharell walked me through my treatment plan, my insurance coverage and my out of pocket cost. She even arranged something's around based on priority and prices to work with in my budget frame. Even the office is so cute and welcoming! I think it's so awesome that while I wait and am getting work done I can watch a movie on a mounted tv to bide my time. He is a very caring yet professional man. He oversaw and participated in providing great care for my senior mom and sister. He made my sister feel especially comfortable and gave her a new smile that boosted her confidence! They both had to have extractions and then dentures...the process took a while but was well worth it! Dr. Maclin is a kind and very skilled dentist. I came in for a dental visit on March 16, 2018. Ms. Flowers introduced herself as Dr. Flowers she…read moredid my initial exam took my dental x-rays, she checked my gums, my teeth and she cleaned my teeth. During my exam she use larger than usual disk to take my x-rays. My gums were raw and peeling when she finished the x-rays. This procedure was very painful unlike my other visits to the dentist. When Dr. Flowers checked my gums, she uses a very pointy instrument that felt like a needle. I complained and let her know that she was hurting me. She claimed that she was using the best instrument for this procedure. I said that I know the other dentist including Dr. Barnes did not use that instrument because that would be difficult to forget. Now when it came to cleaning my teeth she sprayed my mouth with the water which also sprayed my face and my clothing. When she was done torturing me she went to the front desk to speak to Dr. Barnes and the other staff members. I had gotten up to go to the bathroom that's when I overheard the staff enjoying a laugh at my expense. I was very upset, but I decided not to say anything to you Dr. Barnes at that time. I decided to wait until I got home to speak with my husband and make a few phone calls regarding the incident. I know that you were unhappy with the way that I rated your dental practice two years ago but I never for a minute thought that you would allow a patient to be harmed. When I first came to your dental office I informed you that I had a horrific experience with a former dentist. So the fact that you would allow this to happen is beyond me. I am very disappointed with you and your staff. I believe that I gave you a fair and honest rating and I did find you all to be less than professional. The entire experience from speaking with Marie, to being x-rayed by Sylvia, to the actual extractions was executed with professionalism, passion and compassion making sure I was put at ease. Listening as Dr. King did his initial examination it was clear that he was comfortable in his craft and expert in it. He and Sylvia worked quickly and seamlessly to remove two of my wisdom teeth assuring I suffered no discomfort. The constant reassurances that I was doing a great job seem funny since they were the ones doing a great job! Sylvia told me what to expect in terms of timing of return of feeling after the anesthesia. She gave me the To Dos and the Do Not Dos which were reiterated by Marie as she checked me out. I appreciated the treatment plan I was provided based on my exam without even a soft sell. The practice is done with what seems to be the latest technology in an office that is well appointed and inviting. In addition to receiving written post-op instructions I received an email a few hours later with additional post-op instructions and reminders. I'm writing this as the anesthesia has worn off and my pain seems manageable with the medication Dr. King prescribed. I want to thank Dr. King for his great medical care and for casting a shadow of leadership that makes his team feel and act as collaborating partners bringing a winning experience to their patients. A woman (black, I assume) answered the phone with the greeting of "this is such and such office, how can I help you?" I spoke kindly by saying "hellooo, I'm calling to see if you all are accepting new patients?" And lo and behold, she hangs up the phone. I'm sure you're wondering how do I know that. You could literally hear her place the phone down on the receiver. Girl, that is NOT a good look. I did call back and received a different receptionist whom had a slight accent. I believe her name was (Malena or Marcia...something of that nature). That was so unprofessional
