Office experience was somewhat okay , care was bad. Long wait time just to say my insurance was not approved there

In Feb 2022, we found ourselves in a very difficult predicament. We were moving for a job change, because the company we worked for was not able to pay it's employees. On top of that, our insurance was ending very soon and our children needed unexpected specialized dental care. If the work was not done before our insurance ended, the procedure would cost us about $2000 or more,out of pocket. so incredibly stressful,since we had not been receiving pay checks. We went in for a visit to A Dental Care and explained our difficult predicament. A Dental Care was packed and busy with other clients,but they still took time to listen to our case. They then went out of their way to call other nearby clinics, to see if others could help perform the procedure, before we lost insurance. A Dental was already booked out at the moment and they could not do the all the needed procedures right then. Only some could be put in the normal schedule.Although they called so many other clinics for us, they could not find other clinics that could perform the procedures in time for us. Unbelievably & unexpectedly, A Dental Set us up with one of their dentists,who agreed to come help on his day off! The dentist does not usually work weekends, but upon hearing our case, he sacrificed his personal time to help us out. We attended two different A Dental clinics, and received excellent care and customer service at both. A Dental went above and beyond to attend to our families' medical needs. During the in-depth dental procedures, my kids were very comfortable. The staff was so friendly. They explained all the procedures to our kids, so they wouldn't be nervous. The dentists took their time to perform the procedures correctly and carefully. They took ex rays throughout the procedures to double check the work performed and to make sure nothing was missed. Also during the procedures, neither one of my kids' experienced unnecessary discomfort. As a foster parent, I have had about 60 kids come through our doors and that means a lot of dentists visits. We can honestly say A Dental is one of the best clinics, we have ever used, not just because they accommodated our tight schedule, but the medical care my kids received was superior in attention to detail and comfort ability of the patient. We were at the clinic for procedures for several days, since they had to squeeze us in the schedule & had multiple procedures that were needed. During that time I was able to hear and observe how they treated other patients. They were just as respectful, helpful and attentive to their other patients. I have been to much fancier dental offices, but aside from the simple appearance of the A Dental buildings, A Dental's service and treatment is superior to others we have attended. We are a bit sad to move, as A Dental will not be,where we will be going. We wish we had known about this clinic sooner. For anyone that is trying to find a a dental clinic that actually cares about their client's needs and not just getting a check, A Dental is the place to go! I had an appointment here due to toothache I was scheduled for 11 and I still waited until maybe 11:20 to go to the back the assistant was very nice and she explained many things to me as far as what she was going to do which was take a X-ray after she was done I waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor just so she can explain to me what needed to be done and it was going to be a long process I understand that but I was a little annoyed at the fact that they waited almost 2 hours just to come tell me that and that I had to come back in almost 2 weeks just want expecting this experience here but I guess now I know. I went here with my husband and we payed for a "BASIC CLEANING" because for the moment that's all we can afford. They literally just talk to us and maybe just scrap 1 or 2 teeth And said that's all They could do because we needed to pay more if we wanted for them to go do a deeper clean . I at least expected for regular clean up at least past a tooth brush on my teeth or something but no. I had never had a bad experience with a dentist before till now . This dental facility is awesome! I had to take my 3 year old for an emergency appointment and being a new patient they fit her in. Not only that, my daughter WAS terrified of the dentist. The ladies and the doctor at this office are so gentle and caring and this makes all the difference. My little lady was a big girl and even asked when does she go back!! I made an appointment for a cleaning here for Saturday 5/09 weeks ago. I was called to confirm my appointment on Thursday 5/07 and Friday 5/08. I showed up for my appointment today, signed in, answered questions about my employer issued insurance and then taken back. 30 mins later Diana came in to tell me they could not verify my insurance because the place is closed on Saturdays, I was asked to leave. They did not offer me another appointment. I also asked my they did not verify my insurance before my appointment when I entered my information through ZocDoC. Diane shrugged it off as if it was my own fault. I drove 30 mins here for nothing, and they showed absolutely no remorse for th. their administrative negligence. I am a new patient, so I called to make an appointment, and the person on the phone with me was extremely helpful and nice! When I got here, Misti attended me and she was extremely friendly as well! I wasn't aware of all the benefits my insurance had and she let me know, and told me what would be covered and all that good stuff. This was all done in about 10 minutes. This was my first time visiting and I was referred by family. It was the worst mistake I ever made. My appointment was on a Saturday for 12pm at 3:32pm I still had not been seen and was told my insurance also couldn't be verified because they are closed on Saturday! 1. If you don't have availability don't try to swqueeze in all these people and give us the worst possible service I was speechless. 2. Why wouldn't you do your due diligence prior to us coming in to verify insurance. This was just unacceptable and will never be returning. I walked out even the front desk lady didn't understand why they were taking so long. The Dr who was a bald Dr who I can't even recall his name was so unprofessional. I mean just a total disappointment and disaster. I will never come back and will be letting my entire family and friends know about this horrendous service. read more
