This practice was highly recommended to me for people that have anxiety with dental work. I went to their Chantilly office however it seems that both locations are owned by the same doctor. I seeked them out a little over nine months ago because I had a tooth that needed some attention. I made my appointment using zoc doc and that part was a breeze. After getting a cleaning, I was told that there would be a treatment plan set up to repair the tooth. It turns out the tooth had a cavity filling that fell out that needed to be filled again. During the exam, the doctor also found another tooth that needed to be addressed. I was fine with this treatment plan. I went back to get the tooth, taken care of they added more things to the treatment plan. There was a complete lack of transparency, and when I brought it up, I felt gaslit. I know exactly what was told to me and I know what I prepared for . Once I spoke up, I was told that I was correct. The two teeth were addressed at that appointment and I had a cleaning scheduled for four months later. Once again, I came into my cleaning appointment. I was not informed that the dentist I was seeing there was no longer practicing with them and they told me they had signed me up for more intensive cleaning. This cleaning involved being numbed and it was a two visit ordeal. Again, I, know I didn't sign up for this and there was zero transparency again and I told the receptionist why would I have one appointment scheduled if you're telling me this is a two appointment cleaning. It made no sense. I did not feel comfortable and at that point, I decided to not go through with the cleaning at all and just find a new dentist. Fast forward to today I did find another dentist to have my cleaning with and turns out that the cavity that was fixed on the original tooth that had the issue is bad. It seems that there is a pocket of air and the cavity is not completely flush against the tooth and needs to be redone. As someone who suffers from dental anxiety, for this reason, I would never recommend this practice to anybody. From the time I made my first cleaning appointment to the second cleaning appointment, which was six months. They had three employees turnover in that office. My dentist, the hygienist and the receptionist were all different. That to me is not a good sign. It seems like this dental group has an issue with retaining employees. Not only that the dental work that was being performed is also subpar since it failed shortly after being completed. Additionally, while this is an a dealbreaker, the office smelled terrible. I couldn't tell if they were trying to mask a smell, but it smelled like a public restroom. Once again it's something I can easily overlook with Good service and you did get used to it while you were in there, but it was just, overwhelming when you initially stepped into that office. read more

I am always nervous before dentist appointments ,especially when entering new practice. Here you will see well renovated modern office with friendly people on the reception. My experience was positive,office is clean and bright,doctor was knowledgeable,understanding my concerns,came up with reasonable treatment plan and have professional bad manners.I think that teeth cleaning was a little rushed and I had not properly polished feeling on the teeth,but after calling to the office they polished it during my visit for fillings. Also ,they don't offer flavors for polishing,but those things are small imperfections. read more

The office must be really hard pressed for patients because even after stating I would not be returning to the office and explaining why. Months letter, I still receive emails (no fewer than 9) reminding me to schedule an appointment and received calls from the office about scheduling an appointment because I'm overdue (which is not true, I just didn't go back to Dental Bright after my initial experience). Mind you, it is actually more than 9 emails! The 9 emails are just the ones I still have in my inbox and haven't deleted yet! When the office called me yet again to schedule an appointment I said I wouldn't be returning based on the negative experience I had. The receptionist asked whether I would like to speak with the office manager, I said no, but he was actually listening on the call anyway. The main reason why I won't be returning is the office said I had two minor cavities, one on each side of my mouth. When asked, they said I wouldn't be able to see them on X-rays because they were small, but I should schedule an appointment to get them fixed right away and no worries, my insurance would cover them. I didn't believe the office's assessment that I suddenly had two cavities after never having a single cavity EVER! So I went for a second opinion and they found no cavities, even after pointing out the specific teeth that Dr. Filali said I needed to get repaired. I then when to another dentist for my next cleaning and guess what, again no cavities. I no longer go to Dental Bright because they can't be trusted if they're willing to have patients undergo unnecessary procedures and lie about cavities to get insurance money. read more

This place is an absolute nightmare. I needed partial dentures done and they bullied me into getting expensive unnecessary work done. Every time they kept adding additional work despite a written treatment plan. This place is full of corrupt practices. The dentist is highly unprofessional rolling his eyes to his assistant when I questioned a procedure. He kept adding in $2000 and above, at every single visit, suggesting to remove teeth that were perfectly fine and healthy. For the painful procedures that I had endured, and unnecessary work, he showed absolutely no concern. Had to endure immense pain, like never before, and to stay in the car for 1/2 hour before I could depart. He even used the pliers to break off pieces of a denture I was wearing so that I would hurry up and come back for the next procedure to charge additional thousands of dollars both out of pocket and from my insurance. No concern or benefit to the patient, only his pocket. I never got the work done that I needed. I paid $6000 (apart from insurance) for 2 crowns I didn't need, after numerous visits. Unprofessional dress too, as the dentist wears sweatpants and a t-shirt during a procedure. I went to another dentist for the work I really needed in 2 visits. As a new patient I was very impressed with the exceptional service received from EVERYONE I encountered including the receptionists, hygienists, and of course Dr. Filali. My care consists of general/deep cleaning, fillings, and Invisalign. From start to finish for each service received, I felt extremely comfortable and in good hands. It's also nice to ease the attention away during each procedure as I'm able to watch HGTV in the background. Dr. Filali made sure to consult with any questions or concerns I may have as he genuinely cares about his patients. Transparency is key. The Groupon is a scam which makes me no longer trust this Dentist. They jack up the Invisalign price on purpose so you aren't getting a deal at all. $39 for Invisalign or dental implant package ($2,703 value) Package includes consultation, xray, treatment plan, 2000 towards Invisalign or dental implant package. However, they charge $7,000!!!!! I didn't get x-rays, just a quick consult. So I paid $39 to drive in traffic to get quoted $7k!!!! Out of control!!! Buyer beware. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I'm someone who refused to get my wisdom teeth removed as a teenager out of fear of the dentist... and now at age 27, Dr Filali removed two of my wisdom teeth with ease, no bruising or swelling and compassionate bedside manner. He and his entire team are so talented and sweet. The entire office is stark white cleanliness, they now have set the bar so high for me that I don't find other doctors offices as nice as theirs. They even have TVs in each room which they'll usually ask you if you want to change the channel. I will happily drive from DC any day to get work done at Dental Bright. Now I just need to convince my dentist phobic boyfriend that Dental Bright is worth the drive so he can get his teeth worked on :) read more

This dentist/office is incredible! Everybody is so friendly - warm and welcoming. They are so patient, and accommodating; understanding when life happens, and completely willing to move appointments around, if necessary (but don't make it a habit). I just had my first *actual* visit in this office, and they did a full checkup and cleaning (they cleaned so much...). Right then and there, they priced out how much everything I needed to get done was going to be, worked with my insurance, and left me with no questions. Overpriced! I got a Groupon for Invisalign. I barely have anything wrong with my teeth, just some gentle shifting. With the $2000 off they said my balance would still be $3500! I've never heard of such a thing. I went to another orthodontist and her quote was about $2400 - without a Groupon! I expected that type of pricing and thought with a Groupon I'd pay less than $1000, but Dental Bright jacks up the price to accommodate. Makes me wonder if all their services have a jacked up price. No matter how shiny, bright white their office is, their slimey practices are enough to turn me away. read more

Best dentist in town. Very professional and provided high quality service at a very reasonable price. He accepts all insurance and he is not materialistic. I told him I wanted veneers or invisaline to make my teeth look perfect. He told me that I don't need it, and advised me not to do anything cosmetic. Also, he taught in Boston University for more than 10 years, and I can see the level of experience from his work. I brought all my family, my mom and dad don't have dental insurance and were given reasonable prices. My mom suffered a tooth infection for the last 3 years she visited many dentists and they said her teeth look fine, they couldn't figure out what was wrong, until she visited Dr.Filali when he preformed a regular ex-ray for general check up and spotted a huge infection accumulation that could've costed my mom loosing her eye from how serious it was. He worked on fixing it right away. He is just amazing, and he does not brag about him self. Very down to earth. Less talk more action kind of dentist. I recommend him at the highest level.
