We made a trip from Warren because we saw an ad on tv that looked deceptively delicious. After sitting for a google 20 minutes on the waiting bench inside the entryway I finally got up and ask the cashier "do you have a hostess today? " she tartly replied I'm the hostess. We have been driving all day and needed to stop. We are a party of 7 and after having to wait for about 10 minutes in a restaurant that was barely full we were seated. What didn't help was the hostess who huffed like we were bothering her. On our way to the table I detected a slight order of urine, probably wasn't but the carpet is seriously disgusting. Ok, to start...There is a sheet on the wall in the restroom providing directions for the employees about how to wash their hands before returning to work. The first instruction is to wash with Micrell, followed by washing with Purell. The Micrell dispenser was completely empty. Doesn't anybody care??? I attempted to connect to the Free Wi-Fi, noted on posters at the store, and probably elsewhere, in only to find Dennys did not show up in the available networks. I asked Kevin, and he apologized, stating the network was not working. This is not acceptable! Next, I ordered a Build Your Own Hamburger, and requested Swiss cheese, the burger came out with Cheddar. I just accepted it without saying anything, because my Wife's Steak was not cooked to the proper temperature, and I knew this was going to be enough for the cook (since he does not seem to be up to his job requirements). So, here are more details. My Wife ordered the Sirloin Steak Dinner $12.99. She requested the temperature to be Medium. The first steak came out between Rare, and Raw. Kevin apologized, and took it back. A few short minutes later he returned with another steak. My Wife cut it, and this one was Rare, still bleeding. Kevin apologized again, and took it back. He returned a little bit later with another steak. My Wife cut it, and this time it was Medium Well. She accepted the steak, rather than wait any longer. By this time I had finished my meal. I recommend you fire this cook, or put them into another position other than cooking. Kevin deducted a whole $2.88 from our ticket. Very disappointing! read more

I decided to bring my mom for lunch to try it as well she was very hesitant as she's not into the idea of a plant based burger, but I told her don't knock it till you try it! We got in at lunch hour (noon) and we're seated quick which I was personally surprised about cos it was lunch time & they had a special deal. Our server was Kevin and he immediately asked us what we wanted to drink when seated, which was brought back promptly. He gave us a proper amount of time to look over the menu and came back to take our order. My mom and I both got beyond burgers and sides (onion rings & sautéed squash & zucchini). We asked him how the burger was as it sounded strange and he told us a regular vegitarian guest orders it weekly and enjoys it. It was very pleasant the way he advised us about it! Our orders seemed to cook in a sufficient amount of time and came out very fresh!! Nothing was cold. I actually devoured the beyond burger it was so good. I was very impressed with the overall taste, the orange sauce was great, and the multigrain bun was outstanding. Kevin came back over and asked how our meal was and even joked I clearly enjoyed mine as I finished before my mom. My 65+ aged mom who was skeptical going in for this plant based burger said it was surprisingly good she had nothing negative to say (she is hard to please in terms of eating out places so this was a great response).Kevin got me a refill of my soda before bringing the check. He was a great server, very polite, and funny in a friendly way. Even my mom said she liked how mellow he was. Bill came out with no issues on the special being discounted which was awesome. Made for a quIck check out. The lady who check us out gave a warm greeting and nice thanks for our visit and invited us to return. To be honest, I usually go to the Austintown location and only discovered this location cos the special. I will be returning to this location as the staff seemed humble. We went here because it was very late and we were staying over at a nearby hotel as we were on our road trip for the holiday. It was a little outdated and tired. It could definitely use an update in several areas. The service was friendly but a bit unprofessional. Pros: Our particular server was enthusiastic and attentive to our needs. He was also very pleasant. The food was decent, not gourmet, obviously, but it was good. I can say without a doubt it was better than IHOP. Cons: Listening to the other servers discuss their personal lives and details....I could have lived the rest of my entire life without knowing about that stuff. 1-8-17 Jennifer and I came here along with our friends Bill and Lisa. We were greeted by our normal server who is always smiley and happy to see us. The drinks were fast and stayed topped off for the most part, again time for some delays and who is working in the kitchen along with what manager is on duty. My skillet had alot of egg, but the only covered up for a lack of chorizo, peppers, and onion. Still a solid meal, but again this is the first time it was portioned properly. Jennifer enjoyed her healthy skillet, and the pancakes she has come to love. Bill and Lisa's meal also looked fresh and they were happy with them. The only downside is sitting in the Ice Cold box of a corner they usually sit us in. Its winter time and your windows are drafty. address this or move to the new concept. It's a dennys afterall, you have to know what you're walking into. It's not a critiqued 5 star restaurant, but reviews shouldn't be based off that. This is 4 stars as far as Denny's go. I've been to a few in other states, and I like most of the wait staff here. The servers I've had are all attentive. our last server was quick to respond when my boyfriend spilled his coffee. I was actually surprised at how good the meat lovers omelet was. I wasn't expecting prime rib from dennys to be so juicy but it was. This review is on my experience at Belmont Denny's. Let me just start by saying that I've had bad experiences dining at restaurants. But this is by far the absolute worst! I ordered a cheeseburger, specifically listing what I wanted on it, minus tomatoes and lettuce. I get my meal...and I got the complete opposite of what I ordered. I wasn't aware that it was opposite day at Dennys because I was given a cold burger WITH tomatoes and lettuce, burnt fries, a bun that felt like they just pulled it out of the refrigerator, and no refills on my Luke warm strawberry lemonade! Needless to say giving this establishment one star is an insult to stars, as well giving this place too much credit. However, I figured I would be nice and leave them with a shred of hope that maybe one day they will improve their staff. read more

Kevin is a prime example of excellent customer service. I wish all servers would base their attitudes off of him. He was the definition of polite and respectful. The food was mediocre. The cook(s) served very poor food. There was gem of an asset to this place though and that is KEVIN. (summed it up in case you don't wanna read the whole long post) Let me first say that we eat out probably 3-5 times a week. We live very a very busy lifestyle and end up eating out way more than we plan. We were greeted and seated by Kevin, who also was our server. He was so polite that after he brought our drinks, my other half and I both commented on how polite he was. So Kevin returns and takes our orders, and I inform him of my mushroom allergy, and request no mushrooms or tomatoes on my "ultimate" omelette. My other half orders the T-Bone Steak (medium rare) and eggs. During this, Kevin is refreshingly polite and well-mannered, referring to us as "sir" and "ma'am" - even though we are around the same age, he still was extremely nice. I can not get over how polite he is. So Kevin brings out my other half's food and apologizes and tells me that my omelette is going to be just a couple more minutes because he made them re-cook it because the cooks had put mushrooms in it. SO VERY THANKFUL that he paid attention! Mushrooms cause me to go into anaphylactic shock. He saved me the risk of severe allergic reaction and emergency room visit. So I'm thankful and don't mind waiting. Meanwhile, my other half's steak was cooked overdone, and he asked for medium rare. Kevin promptly noticed that he wasn't satisfied, had the cooks refire the steak, and even brought him a salad on the house while he waited. When Kevin brought my (thankfully non-poisonous) omelette to me, I noticed tomatoes were indeed added. I just picked them off though because I didn't want to be too much of a hassle. Long story short- If it were NOT for Kevin, this location would have been given 1 star. Kevin is a gem and one of THE BEST servers we have had the pleasure to meet. I walked in and it was clean. Two associates walked by when we walked before I was greeted with a hello. The guy named Donald sat us down took our drink order before we could even look at the menu and just ordered water. We ordered the blueberry combo and a order of French toast. Order came I asked for hot sauce and took the guy 5 min to bring hot sauce says he was sorry said he forgot. (I like to eat my eggs with my hash browns). Told him that we were missing the side of hash browns and my eggs sat and got cold until they brought me my hashbrowns. It was him and a lady that was working, looked like they were understaffed.
