The place was very clean. We was greeted and seated pretty fast. Leanna our waitress got my special order exactly right and the cook did too! Every item I ordered was a perfect 10. And my husbands food was delicious too! He said the pumpkin pecan pancakes (a total 10) is better than the other specialty pancakes like the cinnamon roll or caramel banana pancakes and we love them too! Denny's turkey bacon is the best turkey bacon of any restaurant we've ever eat at. And the 7 grain grilled bread is delicious all by itself! I was too hungry to take pictures, after we blessed our food we dove right in, so no photos to add. But this was absolutely a better breakfast than we have both had at a restaurant, even in Amish country! Thank you we will be back! read more

So I came in here, because I'm parked at one of the truck stops I parked at pretty often. Haven't eaten all day, and was actually anticipating eating here earlier in the day. I came in, got greeted fairly quickly, and was asked where I wanted to sit. I told the hostess whatever was easier. She said "okay I'll sit you at the bar". I said "perfect! One of my favorite places to be!". She then told me "well just so you know, we don't serve any alcohol". No duh. I eat Denny's all over the country on average five times a month or more and probably spent more on these franchises during my life and she'll ever make there, but that's neither here nor there. Anyhow, I was looking forward to getting a Cobb salad with salmon, but she notified me they weren't doing salads because of the latest SCAMdemic (ya know, wince we the people bullied away the "HantaVirus") because of Taylor farms tainted lettuce grown in Central America. I know this outbreak is primarily isolated to this region of the country, but I don't believe anything the CDC or federal government has to say, and I would have eaten a salad if they had lettuce. Because there's absolutely nothing to be afraid of. But anyways, next to Taco bell, I guess Denny's gets their letters from Taylor farms, which probably isn't doing too good in the stock market right now. But I digress. So I went with my 2nd usual the crazy spicy sizzling skillet, with broccoli in place of potatoes. I actually now see how they make the Skillet sizzle! They have an actual Skillet sizzler! I never knew that, and it blows my mind that at some of the lower performing Denny's, the waitresses refuse to utilize this simple 45 second tool. This particular Denny's doesn't carry the Louisiana hot sauce, so I had to use that Cholula crap. I hate Cholula. It was okay, a little smaller than normal but it was fine. I ended up coming back and ordering a grand slam breakfast because I was still hungry. All in all my meal came to around $32 with my trucker discount, which means Denny's is no longer a low cost, high quality eating establishment. I could have dropped that on barbecue across the street. I Interacted with a lot of the wait staff, and they were all great people. Super happy, engage with the customers, worked cohesively together. So no issues there! Overall, positive visit. The food was okay but it was not everything I ordered. I specifically told her I wanted sausage even if there was an up charge and it wasn't included with my meal. I made an order online, came to get it, but they don't have it in the system. I waited another 20 minutes for them to sort it out and prepare the order. I ordered a pack of choconana pancakes and strawberry vanilla pancakes. The pancakes were without chocolate chips and bananas, the pancakes were with rotten strawberries, and they looked terrible, I had to throw away all the products, I ordered from them twice, and I had to throw them away. Food and waitstaff were ok. Being told at the end of the meal that they cannot accept cards was definitely not ok. Luckily, we happened to have enough cash on us. Otherwise, what would we have done? According to the waitress, the location stopped accepting cards because recently a staff member tipped him/herself $110 using a customer's card. So what? Allegedly, the staff member was fired. Ok, great. Absolutely no reason to stop accepting cards altogether. Either the waitress was lying for reasons unknown, or management dropped the ball. This Denny's may be attached to a gas station, but it's one of the nicest Denny's I've been to. They weren't very busy so we were able to sit anywhere we wanted. It's your typical Denny's menu. There's breakfast favorites and other meal options like sandwiches, burgers or classic diner meals like meatloaf. I ordered something new. I got the bourbon chicken sizzling skillet. I've had the skillet s in the past and it's usually a go to for me. Sizzling is in the name and the food is hot. Particularly the potatoes burned my tongue a few times. It's a good sized portion. Veggies were good and chicken was a little dry, but the bourbon sauce was good. It reminded me of the Jack Daniel's sauce at another restaurant. Service was decent. The restaurant is nice as far as atmosphere and the food was honestly very good. The service was definitely not the best. We watched 4 servers stand at the counter while one was running register. No one bothered to seat people and the line grew out the door. I believe better management would make a difference.
