I walked into an empty restaurant... the cook walked in a minute after I did... he sat me and took my order! He was fast and friendly! Food was good too! He checked on me a couple times before the waitress came in. Kudos to the cook for taking care of me when he didn't have to! I was hesitant to eat at a Denny's because it's fast food and I've had some bad experiences at other locations in the past, but given that it was a Sunday evening, this was the only place open to try in Sayre... best veggie omelet I've ever had (and trust me, I travel a lot and have had my fair share)! I've eaten here on a regular basis since it opened a few years ago. I read all the negative reviews and I totally disagree. The food is top quality, the service is good to excellent. They serve the best burgers in town and the prices are in line with other local eateries. Sound like a lot of angry people wrote the negative reviews. Personally I would recommend Denny's. read more

Been here an hour still no food! I asked our waitress if they had lost our ticket and yes that was the case plus training a new cook. If you have people sitting in your area for this long you'd think the waitress would have checked sooner! Inept people! Finally got our food and it's barely edible. Don't waste your money. read more

Although I don't blame the Denny's franchise, this location is the worst experience I have ever had. Toast was burnt, eggs and hash browns were undercooked and replaced toast was raw. Also manger was "too busy" to here our complaint. There was a nice lady named Kat who tried to make things right but But it made things even worse it's a shame that the waitresses have to deal with the cooks miss handling of food. Stopped in here for a quick bite on a trip from Oklahoma to California so we were hoping for fast service. Waited several minutes to be seated, waitress took our drink order quickly and brought drinks. Sat there 10 minutes or so and still nothing so we stood up, one of the other servers asked if our order had been taken. She said she could take our order or get our server. Told them to never mind. Nine adults and three energetic children, 4 to 7, descended on this Denny's expecting it would be pretty much like the many others we frequently patronize. The food quality and quantity were what we had expected but the whole experience was transformed by our waitress Dianna F. This lady was a paragon of efficiency and pleasant demeanor. Despite the usual "minor changes" people always seem to make she didn't miss a beat. Everything was handled perfectly and absolutely without losing her cool, especially with the three young'uns. It's hard to get nine family members to agree on anything but we concurred that we would go out of our way just to have her wait on us. WORST DENNYS EVER!I called in a to go order the girl who took my order over the phone was nice and said it would be 10 to 15 mins.I said ok cool.I go inside to get my order stood thereand saw two bags sitting there and was looking around like I hope it hasnt been unattended to long for someone to come touch it or anything and waited for some one to come help me its not busy what so ever.I see servers walking around talking after 5mins a girl comes up and she doesn't say hi or nothing she start pressing buttons on the computer and then ask me what u got?I told her she said was u dining in or what.then I told her it was a call in order she said this your order here I said how long has it been sitting there and she said not even 5mins do you want it or not its the same bags from when I first walked in.then she said this isnt your order then she checked the computer and said it is and I paid and asked if my dressing I ordered was in the bag and it wasn't she said do you need it I said yes and packaged ketchup.She put it in the bag.I left and called and asked to speak to the manager and told her what happened she sounded like she could careless.(SERVER HAD A TATTOO ON HER NECK THAT SAID FORGIVER OR FORGIVEN)SO RUDE!!!Never again read more
