My husband and I went into Pahrump NV, Denny's tonight. When we got there, they were busy, so we waited 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. 3 people were leaving and needing to pay for their meals, plus one person needed to be seated in front of us. No biggie. We then had our dinner, and it came time to go pay for our meal. There was one lady placing her order at the check out register and then after placing it she paid for it, the male boss/manger, not sure of his name took care of her, then another lady was in front of us and he waited on her. We already had waited about 8 to 12 minutes, then he walks away without saying one word. He just walked across the restaurant to the food counter and started doing things over there leaving us and some other people standing there waiting to be checked out. Then he walks back to the register and picks up 4 menus for people who just walked in, instead of cashing us out. At that point I asked him if he could ring us out and seat them afterwords as we had been waiting. He at that point gets pissed off and storms across the floor over to the food counter yelling "can anyone go check them out at the register"? So my husband decides to just pay in cash by setting the money and the bill on the checkout counter and I went to give the nice waitress her tip. She took her tip and I walked back to where my husband was holding the door for me to walk out, as I passed the counter where the boss was he gave me a nasty look, and said something I didn't understand, but my husband yelled at him, "don't you talk to my wife that way". Then I told the boss you just lost two customers, he just blew it off, not caring and again opened his mouth and said something smart ass. My husband told him to shut the f up, and we left. This guy has no place dealing with customers. He in my opinion needs to be drug tested. when we were there 2 nights ago he was sweating so bad he looked like he just got out of the shower. Plus other signs put up a red flag. Our dinning experience was totally ruined. read more

Planned on going to a restaurant next door that was closed down. Was pleasantly surprised with quality of food. Got breakfast food and it was quite tasty. Pancakes were cooked perfectly and the rest of my group enjoyed their food as well! read more

Pretty much all Denny's Restaurants are the same and for me that's a good thing. But this Denny's is in a class of its own. Between the terrible service, food poisoning, and apparently screwing over their cleaning crew. No wonder the place is getting their clients sick. I'm actually a pretty big denny's fan. I like denny's in the morning. Denny's in the evening. Denny's for lunch time. I'm a little weird like that. But I do enjoy their 2-4-6-8 menu. It's like the best breakfast options out there. They're cheap and good portions (well for my tummy at least). I usually get something off that menu but this time I wanted to take a look at the regular menu. What popped out to me was the NEW! pancake meals. I got the strawberries and cream pancake meal which came with hash browns, eggs, and your choice of sausage or bacon (I got one of each, best of both worlds). The pancakes were sooo good. Crispy outer edges with warm fluffy middles. The top had some sort of cream icing and fresh cut strawberries on top. So good that I'm getting hungry and craving it at this moment! I've experienced my biggest nightmare after eating at this place. We were on a trip in Dead Valley when I started to have real pain in my stomach. I couldn't hold it to the restrooms, so I had to do the business next to the road, where were quite many cars passing by. It was clear, gluten diet mistake from the announced gluten free meal from this diner. Tried ordering a delivery online, only received half of my order. Not a big deal but they wouldn't do anything about it which is what bothers me, so I got charged 20$ for bacon and eggs! I Don't recommend using they're delivery option.. read more

The prices have gone up and the food has stayed the same. They use to have all kind of deals that brought people in the door. But now that's been scaled back to a few. $11 is a bit much for a cheese burger and a few frys. Like most places the food is ok but has no real taste. First time at this Denny's and it was excellent, in all ways. Service, food, friendliness, and cleanliness. Rochelle, or Shelly, was a pleasure to have as a server. 1st off this is a Denny's in a small town. My Dad and mom live here and sadly Dad is also in the hospital here. I needed to get out and get a quick bite and figured I could get decent food at a reasonable price. In fact the food was REALLY good and the service was incredible. Monica was my server and she was friendly and upbeat. The food was excellent ( I had a meat lover breakfast w pancakes) and served " fast food " fast.. remarkable really. What made this Denny's a 5 star for me is the fact that the staff knows everybody! Locals of course but they were called by name, they knew what they wanted and enthusiastically greeted them. So I was craving onions rings and the Tuscan chicken burger looked pretty good so I drove from home to place an order to take home I ordered two chicken burgers one with onion rings and one with seasoned fries and two sides of ranch yeah!!! Should of check the order in the store before I left but was in a hurry got home to find NO ONION RINGS but some wavy dry French fries I am really tired of not getting what you pay for and order it's on there tag as well as my receipt it is so frustrating and the ranch dressing is not the same since the remodel I used to love the ranch dressing but now not so much read more

Really great waiter, I would like to give him five stars...BUT the breakfast was horrible. Ordered ham & American cheese omelet. Instead, the omelet was on the cooler side. The cheese was an orange cheese which didn't taste like American and it was laying unmelted under the egg. Worst part was the burnt end casing pieces of scrap ham which seemed like they were the hardened leftovers of the day. Also, it was filled with burnt onions which I didn't order to be put in the omelet but instead asked for them to be in the hash browns. I'm usually compelled to write a review if I encounter atrocious food and/or service. Past experiences with several Denny's locations in California have been less than stellar, and for this reason I was reluctant to try the Pahrump Denny's. My wife and I went there for lunch, and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was much better than expected, and our server Brandi was extremely attentive, friendly, and seemed to be on top of everything. I'm happy to have found another keeper, and am kicking myself in the butt for not going there sooner. read more

Overall Denny's has done an ok job. The pricing isn't too bad and the food has been pretty good. The main reason for the 3 star is for forgetting stuff in my order. The last 2 times they forgot to put my bacon in my order. I always order to go, I do check to make sure I have the plates I am supposed to have, but I guess from now on, I will have to actually open the containers and look under the top plate. read more

They dont even deserve a star... After atrempting to have dinner with my elderly grandparents (ages 78 & 82). We waited awhile just to put in our drink order with a very sloppily dressed "assistant manager", he returned to take our order, which seemed to go well.  After waiting over 40 mins to receive 2 breakfasts, a club, and a burger (nothing complicated)  We received only 1 breakfast, a cold burger on a hot plate, and a different sandwich than a club.  Upon bringing this to the young lady who brought our food she said "talk to your server" and walked off with a snotty ass attitude.  After even more wasted time our server finally reappears and asked what was wrong with the order, not only did we explain it to him, another waitress came to our table inquiring about the errors in the order and we explained it to her, more time had passed, our original server came back to the table numerous times to recheck what we had still not yet received 1 breakfast and a corrected hot/warm burger (we didn't even bother to correct them on the club sandwich imitator).  Upon receiving the missing breakfast and 2nd burger, the burger was still incorrect and contained food items my spouse couldn't eat (food allergies) so the originally ordered hamburger became a cheeseburger with items that weren't initially requested on it... Needless to say we finally got our bill after a 2 hr fiasco and were finally able to leave the disaster that was made out of our dinner. Even one of their bus boys were wearing sweat pants versus actual pants. Previous visits resulted in great food but poor service, this time was the straw the broke the camels back. This way corporate and unexpecting customers know what type of shit show to expect at this restaurant. If it was my restaurant I would be furious and embarrassed. read more

Would of liked to give it a four star but....when you walk in, between breakfast & lunch, it's not very busy but nine tables & booths still had plates etc on them. No one had cleaned them. I mentioned to the hostess how these messy tables really reflects on Denny's! She was doing nothing & said....maybe I should help clean them!!! Duh!! Yes!! Our waiter was awesome & his area was clean. He was bussing his own table & booth area. They for sure need more help!! Plus the hostess could have helped instead of just standing there!! This restaurant has been the place me and my friends go to for years now. The current manager Ray? Is the nicest manager this place has gotten. He never fails to ask us how we are doing and if we need anything almost to the point it got annoying one time lol He is the only reason we keep coming back. They currently have an employee there by the name of Jacob he was extremely rude and unprofessional. He has no personality at all. We've been helped by him 2 times and he messed up the order every single time.. he never checked up on us,OR asked us how we are doing. For all the little (and strange) details that seem to be popping-up these days with covid, he sure does know how to handle things in a professional manner. Not every manager knows how to defuse an awkward situation, but Jeff sure does! So the food here was so good! Fruit was fresh and the pancakes so fluffy and delicious! Wait staff was amazing and friendly. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. My "over medium" eggs came out a little over easy but that didn't bother me nearly as much as watching the manager sit at the bar on her laptop with a grimace the entire time. Staff needed help seating people and doing more but she never once got off her ass to help. Staff walked by and she demanded things and gave snide looks but I never saw her get up to help. Your Women's bathroom is Atrocious! Everytime I am there and have to go, the stalls and toilets are nasty with paper in the toilets or drops of pee on the seats. They had no caffeinated coffee, forgot to take our order, and it took over a half hour to be served. The food was okay, but eating pancakes without syrup really topped it off. It was so nice to find a familiar restaurant with a pleasant and attentive waitress in Brandy. She always had a smile on her face when she came to our table from the moment we were seated to the moment we were leaving... unfortunately that wasn't the case for the management. Hadn't been to Pahrump in many years. Still a charming town that resists change. But this Denny's is another casulty of the covid era--too many people wanting to enjoy a beautiful day out with family and friends for a nice breakfast. Only two, maybe three overworked waitresses and my guess is only one cook. The amount of people sitting at tables without food should have been a signal to turn around and head back down the street for a Sausage McMuffin and much better coffee. I felt bad when our breakfast was served to us sooner than others who had been waiting longer. But it was no prize. I didn't think eggs and toast could be less satisfying. Sad to say it was definitely the worst breakfast and worst service in my 70 years. But it's also been the worst two years on the planet for everyone. I'm guessing a lot of people don't leave tips at times like this, but we still left 20%. Hang in there! Things will get better. read more

I had the worst dining experience ever at this place. I have been vegetarian all my life and this place served me beef burger instead of the veggie burger I ordered for, because apparently the staff and the chefs 'had a long day' and they made a mistake. When confronted, they asked for forgiveness and offered a re-make. When I declined the re-make because I felt disgusted and hurt already, they expected me to pay for the burger. The manager specially was unapologetic and rude about the whole experience. When I threatened her about posting this incidence on social media and reporting it to Denny's customer service, she started offering me a discount which I did not take. I would not recommend anybody to go to this place so that nobody else has to go through a similar disrespectful and disappointing experience.
