It still has that "danish" feel on the inside as well. The people were friendly, and the place was clean. They have a decent sized bar, with TVs to watch sports. They have a decent menu with everything from appetizers, salads, burgers, and entrées. I wanted to go a bit light, so I went for the Caesar salad with tri-tip, and the dressing on the side. The salad comes quick, and overall it was a good salad. The Parmesan was good, the veggies were nice, the tri-tip was a tiny bit chewy, but it had a very good flavor to it. I also liked the Caesar dressing very much. However, the reason I'm taking off a star, is because the salad was watery. There wasn't that much tomato, so I really believe it was because when they washed the greens, they didn't dry them off completely. It really diluted the dressing. It was still a very good salad, so I will only takeoff one star. I didn't send it back, because I didn't catch it until I was about halfway through the salad. That would not have been fair. The price was very reasonable, and they do offer a military/veterans discount. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu, but I think I'm gonna stay away from the salads from now on. Thanks anyway.

We sat at the bar and didn't get helped until about 10mins after while they sat everyone else. Unfortunately there was the "bartender" and one waitress for the whole restaurant. So sadly we were attended to as often as we needed. Like when the food came we had no napkins or utensils. We asked for some and took about 5mins to have them brought over. The bartender was very apologetic throughout but instead of saying sorry everytime she saw us help us out. My husband ordered the tritip sandwich with chili. The gave him fries so we had to ask for the chili. I got the pulled pork and sweet potato fries. Everything was good. We ordered a salad to go and it took less time than anything else.

Still we were greeted very kindly by the manager up front. Took us to our table right away. Where our server took our order for drinks in a timely manner. And gave us plenty of time to decide on our order, mind you we did take some time since it was our first time there and we were unfamiliar with the menu. However he was very patient, glancing in on us to make sure he didn't miss us. Our appetizer was the calamari (I'm sorry I forgot the picture) but it was very good.! As good as Brad's from Pismo. Even my kids enjoyed it. The food portions were huge.! Definitley our moneys worth. My husband ordered the Prime Rib, which was HUGE. When they bring it out, they place it on the plate for you and you hear it sear, since the plate is super hot.! BTW it being hot kept his food nice and warm the entire time we ate dinner. I ordered the Rib Eye, and it was...soooo good!! I got it medium rare. It was nice and juicy.!! My husband was even eyeing it. I ordered grilled onions with it and glazed butter. The onions came on the side., which I then just put them on my steak. The baked potato was also delicious. The seasoning that they put on top makes it just right.! I also had their original margarita and an Irish coffee. While my husband and kids had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. The ambiance was great. I loved how the booths made the dinner feel more private, since their back sitting goes almost all the way up. The manager even made rounds and made sure that everyone was enjoying their meal. Our server...which was a young man. Had such a great attitude and composure, specially dealing with a toddler and young little man. He often checked in on us to make sure the service was good and that we were missing anything. Whenever we asked for refills or just ketchup, he came back right away with them. This place is pricey, seeing from the receipt how it was just 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 kids under 6. But the service and the food Definitley makes it worth it.! Specially the drinks. They're loaded, which I won't complain, makes it worth every penny. It's such a good vibe also. It's decorated just how you would think a "cattlemen's place would be" with plenty of props and good food.!
