There were 4 of us in our party . We were seated at the round table. I liked so much. Tina was so attentive and nice. She brought our coffee and gave us plenty of time. To make our selections, we ordered steak and eggs. And the steak was cooked perfectly. I ordered the make your own omelet with spinach, caramelized, onions and avocado, it was packed full, and so delicious Tina continued to take note whether we needed more coffee or jelly or anything else. I have been a regular for 20+ years. The new management needs to step up and buy 2 new coffee brewers, $1700 for both, because the two they have now have been broken for months. Using a home, 1 each, coffee brewer in a commercial setting is crazy. Get off your pocket books and replace the Commercial equipment with commercial equipment. As far as waitresses, Genette and Amy are awesome. As far as cooks, Mickey is the BEST. They are why I keep coming back. read more

The staff was very warm and welcoming. I just got off a red eye flight and they totally didn't mind me moping there for a few hours on a slow weekday morning as I waited to check in my hotel. Food was good, my egg was a little undercooked but I wasn't feeling it much anyway so I just didn't ask for a new one. Denny's is the last breakfast place here in town that has been here for 20+ years in the same location. Nowadays you can pick where you want to sit. I prefer to sit in the front when you first walk in. Lots of booths but the 2nd booth has a drip of water. My dad and I have been splitting the $5.99 special. Two eggs, two bacon, two sausages, 2 pancakes, and hash browns. It's plenty for two ppl to split. The only syrups they have are regular and sugar free. Coffee is good and strong. They also have a mixture of creamers: half and half, vanilla, and hazelnut. I've been back a few times and you don't always get the same waitress. read more

We stopped for breakfast with our son, who is stationed at Eglin. I had a great +55 omelette with grits, my wife hade a +55 egg breakfast, while our son had the French toast slam. I came in at exactly noon and took my son to lunch. After ordering we received our drinks. Then my sons food comes and I was told that they were out of the "nachos " and could Not fulfill my order. We visited 1/8/22 at about 8:30am. Party of 6 and a half. Seated right away. Bonus! Noticed nothing on the table looked wiped off, table barely, although there was a "sanitized" sign on it. Bathrooms, ugh. Hmmm... Our waitress was very eager and efficient. Took our drink orders and got them out, explained about "The original slam", which was $2 cheaper than the grand, but she'll add on a hash brown to boot, one got this. Party also ordered chicken biscuit bowl, Philly cheesesteak omelet, cheeseburger and a grand slam. I ordered "Moons over my Hammy", which I used to get.. a lot, not in years and NEVER AGAIN. We waited quite awhile before any food came out. It was not busy yet. Food finally came out, except mine and my son's other half of his "special" original slam. Waited about 5 extra minutes to get mine.... I waited for a greasy, limp grilled cheese with a little egg and ham on it. Pic included. What you saw is ALL I ate of it. It was awful! Our waitress, by the way, came back once, asked how everything was without making any eye contact with me, even though I was. I tried to speak and she darted off. Saw her once more when she dropped off the check and again darted. Believe her name was Amy? Once I needed to see, we didn't see her. Obviously, prices are raised way up but food quality waaay down. Why bother with that $10 glorified, greasy grilled cheese? We were only passing through and will never be back and I don't suggest stopping. read more

She made sure to clear everything and clean everything. Gave her food to her first before ours was even done. Made us laugh so many times. Have been here about 5 times in the last year because my son lives close and the Grandkids like it, but today was the last for me. Ordered 2 different menu items that arrived without the signature sauce specified only to be told that they were out of the sauce. Was not told before ordering and was not offered another item in exchange. One was the Tres Leches pancakes without the Cream sauce. Terrible management. Was told that it had been a busy weekend and it was Sunday and they had just run out of stuff. The problem is it was a Saturday about 1pm! Waitress was great and was really embarrassed. Even the 'clean' silverware was sticky (managed to find 3 clean forks out of 8 that they brought to the table). We only stayed because we were supposed to meeting the rest of our group there. After 45 minutes and still having received no food, they told us they'd had a backup in their grease line and that it was mixing with sewage, so they couldn't cook any more food. We gladly left. Last time we went to this Denny's for breakfast the food was cold but the server was nice. We gave it another try this week and it was a disaster. This time the eggs were hot but the sausages were cold. The Pancakes special came uncooked with runny batter. We never got any napkins or our order of sliced tomatoes. While we were trying to get the servers attention, we saw her ask the cook for a slice of cheese, which he placed in the palm of her hand, the same hand that we saw her whipping her runny nose with a minute earlier. She then palm plopped the cheese slice on a burger, walked away to the unsuspecting guest. Sorry, never Denny's again. read more

Wow. Does this place get any better? Came in this morning and was shocked to wait 43min for drinks once seated. I don't think anyone knows what anyone is doing. It is so disorganized. I am appalled at the hygiene of the employees, and the area in general. I really think some professional cooperate intervention is needed at this location. The food is not made completely cooked, the service is awful, if you are wanting a splash of cross contamination, ecoli, and be shocked at the service, and lack of professional appearance and attitude. Denny's has finally gotten its s*** together. Last time I ate here, I was professionally greeted at the door by an attentive and interested host/waiter. He immediately sat me down and made informed recommendations from the menu. The meal I ordered, a skillet dinner, was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and exceeded my expectations. My waiter was always at hand throughout my dining experience. He maintained his professionalism and friendliness. Providing me refills on my coffee. And asking my opinion about my meal. The entire experience was satisfying to say the least. And worth every penny. From the friendly, attentive waiter. To the well cooked food. I felt well served. Zero stars. We arrived a family of 7 to have lunch and they had the entire dinning room area closed. Only seating available was the front booths in the front. The server tried to engage her manager to see what she should do as they could not seat us. He came out and said maybe she should ask one of the clients seated and dining if they could move. A few minutes passed, he didn't acknowledge us and they just left us there standing in the lobby. I never in all my life have been treated this way eating out at a Denny's. Typically we don't complain much but I will say that denny's has messed up our orders too many times for me not to saying anything. Most the time it's a 50/50 chance that our order is right, for example we'll order a special pancake like the cinnamon roll pancake or the short berry dream cake pancake and when we get our order they give us a plain pancake with absolutely nothing on it or anything on the side that might come on the pancake. So we get charged extra for a "fancy" pancake but then get a plain of the plainest pancakes. And we don't get our money back or a remake on the food because we order through doordash. Even if it's not through doordash they'll mess the order up. read more

The table next to us was complaining about not having the right toast, or part of their breakfast. The table on our other side was complaining about not getting a portion of their order as well.
