My husband got a tux from this location. Paul was extremely helpful and kind. He was extremely…read moreknowledgeable and helped make the process easy and enjoyable! The only negative is that the store is very rundown.

Yesterday was the final straw. I had shopped there previously and dealt with an older salesperson…read morenamed Lou. He did everything possible not to use a computer. I went back in yesterday and unfortunately he was the one to " help" me again. I asked him if he could look me up in the counter from a few months ago, and that I just wanted the same suit in a different color. He immediately and rudely snapped back " why would I do that , I know your size already ". He then proceeded to mis size me no less than 4 times which then unleashed a series of events. He walked away in the middle of helping me to help another customer, he passed gas while talking to me ( wish I was joking), he made a fat joke about another customer who was looking at some Hawaiian type button down shirts. Finally when it was time to remember he was helping me, he told me the pants for the suite I wanted after he argued with me about the color being what I asked for , when it was in fact not. The pants weren't in stock and he could not give me a concrete time for receiving them , and I was on a time crunch for getting the suite. I asked him if the pants were in stock at another store somewhere, I could just go there. His comment back was "'why would you do that , if the pants are in Kentucky would you go there to get them " At one point when he walked away from me another sales person tried to help , but had no clue where we left off before he farted and then left to help anther customer in the middle of helping me. So I just had to wait. That was the end for me. I told him I had no tolerance to play games or waste my time , he worked harder to be unhelpful and argumentative than it would have taken to just help me. I ended up walking out of the store which was by far the most convenient option being less than a mile from my home just to drive to another store to give them my business and to help me. It's a shame that someone like this represents the brand , as I will not step foot back in there as a customer ever again. Unprofessional, unwilling to use technology , and unwilling to listen to the customer who was asking for something very specific lost a customer as well as the other family members in the home that will be needing a suit in the future. Honestly he's an older gentleman and I could have gotten past him farting while talking to me if he had actually been even remotely helpful. Thank you to Lou and Jos A. Bank for wasting my morning turning what should have been the easiest sale of the day into loosing a customer

The selection here is smaller than at some other stores. I didn't find anything. I wandered around the whole store, and found a little collection of small plastic hourglasses, for 5, 10, 15, and 30 minutes. While not attractive, they will be useful for exercising. I also found a black wool hat, which is possibly a man's, and too large, but I will add a ribbon and roses. And a rain hat. It was raining. I always look at curtains, for some weird reason, but there wasn't anything interesting. There weren't any wool or cotton blankets. I'm looking for blankets for my mother. There was a lot of china, mostly ugly and made in China. I like European china. I didn't see any interesting vases, either. This is good, because I really don't have room. So any new vase would have to replace an old one. Both registers were unmanned, and three or four employees were standing around chatting. Because I only had a very few things, I did use the hated, dreadful self-checkout. Thankfully, it didn't yap at me. It looked like you could take the carts out of the store here, too, so points for that. I didn't need a cart, because I hadn't found any books. But it's nice to be able to, if needed. No one manning a register wasn't a plus. I probably could have asked. But for three or so items, it wasn't necessary. This wasn't a great store. I would be unlikely to return, as it is rather far away and the selection of books was poor. Basically 3.5 stars. But giving 4, because the carts don't have those horrible sticks on them. I loathe those things, mainly because books are heavy.

I agree with the other comments, prices have become higher. It's hard to find any item under…read more$3.99 lately and they seem to be forgetting that they didn't pay for their stock! I also think the store has become messier and it gives the impression that no one cares or takes pride in this store.
