The place is loud but that's because everyone is talking at their table. Our server Trayvon was super nice and very helpful. He gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time. We ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and hubby had a Bee's Knee. It had Gin honey and lemon. Hubby got the traditional breakfast-chicken apple sausage, sourdough toast and hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with the gravy on the side. I rather dip the chicken in the gravy verse having it poured on top. My chicken fried chicken came with grits and sourdough toast. The chicken was so good and flavorful. I loved the grits. I also got a side of chicken apple sausage and when I tell you it was so good. It had just right amount of sweetness. This is a place to bring family and friends from out of town. We will be back.

Limited parking right now - looks like another building and hopefully additional parking being constructed next door. Immediately liked the bright modern comfortable vibe when entering. You can see the bar and coffee bars at the back. The downfall of having stuff hanging from ceiling and when choosing your lift fixtures, you have to clean them. I loved the circle lights above the booths. Unfortunately, they were dusty and I kept waiting for it to drop in our food. (Not what I want to be focusing on while eating). Very large menu with lots of great choices for breakfast, lunch, brunch. Cocktails, mocktails, fresh juice also available. I got the CHICKEN BACON RANCH PANINI - it was really good but messy. Arrived sloppy dripping in ranch. I ended up having for fork & knife it. Good bacon, grilled chicken, slices of avocado. Would get ranch on side next time - It tastes like the typical restaurant supply big bucket of blah ranch. They need a house made ranch. The fried okra was really good! MONTE CRISTO - on a croissant. Completely soggy and unable to eat as a sandwich. Strawberry jam on it was a nice different touch. Had to eat with fork & knife. Not one of the better ones in the area. Fries were really good though. We will go back sometime and try breakfast.

My daughter has a gluten allergy, so I spoke with someone at the front about their gluten-free precautions. They were able to reassure me that they use a separate toaster, prepare her food separately, and change their gloves. That was such great news and immediately made me feel much more comfortable. My daughter ordered the Four Cheese Italian Toast, while we also tried the smoked salmon toast and avocado toast. The smoked salmon toast was our favorite of the three. The Italian toast was good, although not quite as impressive as the others. I think the jam ended up making it a bit too sweet for a savory toast. We also got juices for the kids, and I had a cold brew that was really good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I'm so happy to have another place in the area that can accommodate our gluten-free girl! It makes such a difference to have a restaurant that takes gluten allergies seriously and makes you feel comfortable dining there as a family. We'll definitely be back!

This is definitely the home of the skillet. I ordered the house skillet, and my husband customized his with the "make your own" option. The food came out sizzling hot on actual skillets. A lot of other restaurants just serve their skillet dishes in regular bowls, so this was a huge bonus! On top of that, the skillet meals come with your choice of pancakes, toast, or a biscuit with gravy. The portions were incredibly filling, and we both had to take leftovers home. We will definitely be back!

We walked in when only about six tables were being served and ordered two burgers with hash browns, a side salad, soup, and two 7-Mile coffees. I ordered a water and a black moldy lemon or lime slice floated up from the bottom of my water glass to the top as I stirred my water and took a drink! I fished out the extremely black moldy lemon or lime slice and showed the male "owner". He just said, "oh"....as I asked for another glass of water. We should've gotten up and left right then and there. But, after much discussion, we decided to remain. Since there appears there's only an elderly male and female working this place, we had to wait for the elderly female to get done sweeping outside to come in and cook our breakfast. Then our breakfast was served in shifts because she was doing the cooking and serving while the male was working elsewhere. We needed "to go" boxes and had to wait 5-10 minutes to get them...even tho we were only 2 of the 4 people in the whole place. This place isn't going to make it after it appears it has changed hands from years ago. At this point, we hope we don't end up with some kind of food poisoning from our experience.
