Had a great breakfast. Not too bad and decent prices. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. Hard to go wrong here.

I am just disgusted with the food services-now days. We were traveling and of course when traveling most of us look for some kind of food chain or some familiar food joint. We pulled up early in the morning to Denny's for breakfast only to be grossed out by the manager negligence. With all the sickness going around like the flu, stomach viruses, etc. the only food handling should be behind the line on the kitchen side. Front line should in no way have anything to do with making and buttering the toast nonetheless handling fresh fruit that goes on the top of food being served to children and adults. Why is the frontline handling that and putting customers in at risk of serious illnesses and for some death due to these sicknesses. I watched as our food was completed from the back line to passed to the front of the house where the "MANAGER" who is supposed to set the expectations and be the leader of the establishment. The manager grabbed dirty dishes from customer tables who have had meals, filled customers coffee grabbing the mugs, then returning to handle fresh foods with no gloves nevertheless that he has contaminated his hands and not washing them. We sat there watching all this as they brought our food to our table as we were disgusted. Why should we be subjected to this risk of service from Denny's a chain establishment that should know about food handling safety. After waiting almost an hour and getting our food we stood up and said shame on you for putting such risks on these poor customers not knowing what goes on before receiving there food. read more

Been here twice and both times I was satisfied with my service and food. I personally prefer this location rather than the one on Horizon Drive because of the friendlier staff. However, I still prefer IHOP or Village Inn read more

I used to come here often and we always enjoyed the cheap kids night. When we first started coming in we always had good fast service the food was always good. Until the last few times we had gone. one time we waited over 45 minutes for our food and that was unacceptable when it was dead, I could hear it was a servers error and our food had been sitting in the window this whole time... the next time we went I had ordered mozzarella sticks and they brought them out with SPAGHETTI SAUCE! there was meat in it! I asked for plain marinara sauce, she went back and said that this was the sauce they always serve with it. Called a manager over and she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong, that if I had ordered these before I would have gotten meat sauce. that no matter what Dennys I go to I would get meat sauce they just SKIM the sauce off the side of the pot and that is why I usually don't get meat in it.. 1. GROSS! 2. What would have happened if i was a vegetarian, cheese sticks look harmless but obviously they aren't and 3. I don't know ANYPLACE that gives MEAT sauce with cheese sticks but it was wrong on all levels. the manager said very gruff "so you don't want them then?" I said no I would prefer not to eat them with meat sauce but..." before I could answer she had removed them from our table and thrown them away. I would have told her ranch would do just fine. we were ignored by the staff for the rest of the night. walked out saddened. This had been our go to Thursday night spot since we moved to town last year. We always tipped well even when I could tell it was the kitchen that was having trouble or if we got a new server. I confirmed my original thought when I called the Dennys on Horizon to see if they also serve meat sauce and the GM there said that was WAY WRONG and out of CORP protocol. we haven't stepped foot in that Dennys since and I work next door at Murdochs. That's okay I found Enzos pizza for my lunch hour needs. 2 stars because I had wonderful dining experiences in the past. read more

This place was amazing. Amazing food and service. Tina went above and beyond for service even in the time of pandemic and the cook shanda made the best food I've ever had at Denny's first time food was on point and no mistakes amazing job ladies. Spent about an hour waiting on two milk shakes with no one in here with us.

So basically I got an original grand slam and it come with two hot cakes and eggs also two sausage links and two bacon strips. I started eating and everything was good but once I tried to eat the sausage links they were dry and hard as a rock it was nasty and immediately turned me off. I then tried the bacon strips and they were also very hard and super dry it was really gross. I laughed it off and just ate the rest of eggs and those were okay I mean Norm's is definitely better. After I finished my pancakes and they were pretty good and tasted like normal average pancakes. But when the waitress got back we told her what happened and she really didn't seem to care either than offering to give me a replacement of those two items and didn't seem to talk to the cook who fault it clearly was. Also she seems like she was in a real kind of bitchy and impatient kind of mood I think she was a read head but that's besides the point and I think that no matter what time you get there before closing you should be able to order food because it really seemed like if we were dining past closing time we were just going to get kicked out so overall the experience was kind of bad and I regret spending my hard earned money for this subpar breakfast. I will always stick to norms from now on for sure Denny's is overrated. Thumbs down for me! read more

Unfortunately, the Clifton Denny's has very poor service. We have given this location multiple chances, and it has never left us satisfied. Combined, the wait for a table and our order was an hour and a half. Very disappointing. read more

How can you screw up breakfast? Over easy eggs were over hard. Hash browns were burned!

food wasn't to bad portion sizes are getting less and less prices are going up. a cup of coffee now 2.15 soda 2.19 I know they have to make up for the ones that drink like a camel. french fry portions you get like ten fries if you want o-rings instead you pay an extra .50 cents or so and you get 5 or 6 rings that is a load of crap. the other thing that annoys me is when the server drops off your ticket before you have even started your meal. To me this means ok I am done I wont be stopping at your table again. but you had better give me a tip. I don't think so Tim your are a waitress or waiter your tip depends on the serves you give me I know you don't make alot of money and sometime you do get busy but I know when a place is busy or slow. I delivered pizzas when I was a teenager and if I had trouble finding a house I didn't expect a tip because I didn't do my job to the best of my ablity ( this was before cell phones and gps) so no if you ignore me because of the way I am dressed no you wont get a tip or it will be small read more

I asked the evening female manager, for an employee. She informed me that the employee was on her time and I was denied. I had told her the GM said it was okay to speak with any of the employees, as long as they weren't busy with customers. I will not eat here during her shift! read more

It's bad when you have to send salad back for being old and beginning to rot. The iced tea was also old. I asked for a manager and she was absolutely no help. We are local and will NOT be going back. I'd rather eat at Wendy's next door. At least their salads are fresh. read more

I've enjoyed breakfast three times in four weeks at this Denny's Restaurant in Clifton, Colorado. Plenty of parking available, ease of access and first impression is a clean wholesome atmosphere. I was greeted, served and released with smiles from all employees. The food is typical Denny's style and quality but, never burned like some other reviews I've read. DISGUSTING-I had dinner there last night, I will never go back again. My server was horrible and not to mention the tall bald cook with tattoos who was touching my food without washing his hands after using the bathroom. The female manager was rude when I tried to explain to her the unsanitary conditions in which I felt my food was prepared.
