    French toast breakfast
    Sandy V.

We've been sitting for 20 minutes waiting and a table that was sitting before us has not received their food. Does this mean it's going to take us longer? There are only 2 people I see working for all the tables that have guest waiting to order or receive their food. Update: it took 60+ minutes to get our food. My hubby ordered sunny side up eggs and they were hard boiled on the inside. I ordered French Toast and the knife could cut through it, it was so tough. I feel bad for the two ladies working the guests room taking orders and it appeared they were cooking the food too. There was a large table where they were collecting all the used dishes. The dishes were there the whole time we were in the restaurant. Don't make me mention the restroom, it was by far my worst life experience using a public restroom.

Spontaneously came to Denny's to use their restroom but ended up staying for drinks and some dessert. This location is conveniently located in Isla Verde close to everything. Our server was super helpful and friendly. Love that this place is open late!

Sometimes you just need some cheap eats, and this Denny's delivers what I expected which is decent food at a cheap price. I walked here, and this Denny's is in a shopping plaza. It was pretty quiet when I went and the service was good. They used steamed milk in the coffee instead of giving out creamer, so when I asked for a refill, I got another hot cup of coffee with milk already included, so it was a nice variation. The fruit bowl I got with breakfast was larger than I was expecting for a side dish and had a good mixture of fruit. I also got the pancake puppies special, little fried dough balls filled with Nutella. They were nice and crunchy, large and so sweet and filling I couldn't even finish the bowl. I'm surprised this place is so lowly rated. It's a Denny's--you know what to expect and this place did a great job with the food and service.

Lines are long outside the door. Flies everywhere, food under cooked, but the mimosas were good though.

    Small amount of French fries.

Got a double cheese burger around 1:30am so there was nobody in there, and yet my burger came out looking nothing like a burger and with a small amount of fries. I feel since I went so late, there's no reason for my burger to come out like this with and also with this small amount of French fries.

Careful! The Denny's is in the mall a couple miles down the road near Hampton Inn. It's far from where it says on the map! We were wandering the sketchy streets at 4am, but finally got here, even though the reviews were bad. Good thing we did! Vanessa was our server. We had a great experience. Fresh off the plane from CA and had a great breakfast w great service.

Once upon a time, this was the Denny's to go to. Now, it's a sad left over of horrible service, lazy cooks and drunken club goers. I ordered a green skillet, the new promotional plate, and I essentially got French fries. No honestly, they replaced home fries with French fries, skimped on the veggies, tossed on some avocados so I wouldn't say anything and shoved it in my table. This is not the first time it's happened to me, last time I was here with friends, they made us wait an hour to order, then another hour to get our food, on top of having to deal with with waitress' attitude and cold food. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. If you want breakfast go to Basilia's or Piu Bello they're right down the block, the food and the service is better. I can only hope that this Denny's gets their act together, and go back to the service they used to give, very disappointed. The worst part is that pretty much any Denny's is better than this one. These people are lagging behind. If there was a negative star it would receive -3.

I found this place on Yelp and it looked very pretty; it was perfect for a tranquil start to the day. We called them to inquire about parking and whether this place was open to the public or if it was just for hotel patrons. We parked in the hotel lot and it is open to the public. They did have a person at the counter who could take our order with a menu above their head, but they also had kiosks. I chose the kiosk because it's less pressure; I was allowed to browse the full menu at my pace without feeling the pressure of someone behind me trying to place their order. I was torn between the iced matcha and the iced chai. I went with the iced chai with whipped cream (+$0.50). They ask for your phone number and text you when your order is ready. While we waited, we used the bathroom, which was on their patio area around the corner from the building. On our walk there, we noticed all the plants and greenery they have, both on the wall and around the perimeters of the tables. The bathroom was spacious and clean, but no stalls, just one. I liked that they had seating indoor and outdoor (both regular and high tables) but it was such a good day to not sit outside. The outdoor seating is completely shaded. We sat down at one of the corner areas. After about 10 minutes, our orders were ready. The ice chai was delicious! It had a subtle mocha flavor, with subtle taste of spices, and was very creamy. Halfway through, I needed more ice so I got some from their vending machine. When we went to validate our parking ticket, it came out to about $1.50 which wasn't bad for the hour + we were there.

Review #1,052 Posted on 5.1.26…read more We came here for coffee on Saturday morning April 25th. This spot is located at the bottom of the Residence Inn in Isle Verde. This place is super nice, it reminded my wife & I of Porto's a bit. They've got both indoor & outdoor seating. We ordered their classic coffee with coconut, called the Coqui. Now the place is awesome atmosphere, good drinks, good food, but it took way too long to get our order, amateur hour as far as that goes. It took them 45 minutes to get our coffee & food out, and we're not talking a four course meal chef Ramsey prepared, it was literally 1 breakfast sandwich. We weren't alone either, countless people waiting for a very long time with us, I don't get how it could get you that point to be honest. They had at least 10 workers back there, I could see 10 minutes, even 15, 20 is pushing it, but 45? Coffee & sandwich were good, but nothing special and for sure not worth the irritation that sets in when you're left waiting to that degree. I thought of giving this place higher marks because it's a very nice establishment, clean, lots of places to sit, and nice atmosphere, but they earned this 2 spot they're getting for the experience I had.

One thing I've noticed while visiting PR is that service tends to be a bit slower across the board, so I was expecting that here as well. Couldn't eat it all so we took the leftovers back to the hotel. Definitely a casual locals place. Also incredibly accommodating and kind to us just stopping in for a meal.
