a breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast

We decided to have a low key dinner at Denny's. As we walked in the gentlemen in the front of the restaurant told us to seat on the certain side cause the other side was not for dining. But we noticed there were a few people sitting on that side to dine in.. weird. The first table he seated us at was dirty and not cleaned. We asked him if we can move to a cleaner table. He moved us over to a cleaner table didn't apologize or anything. The food was good and the coffee. We ordered the All American Slam with a coffee and milkshakes. The food was good. We wanted a little dessert so we ordered the pancakes which were good as well. The restaurant loses points more so for the gentlemen's rudeness and the table not being cleaned. Especially since Covid is still around. The bathrooms were super dirty; that needed to be cleaned and well maintained.

This was easily the best Dennys I have ever visited. All the staff at this location were so friendly, from the host to our waitress, everyone was so pleasant. I came for a quick lunch, and I will say the service was very fast. I was not expecting our BLT sandwiches to arrive so quickly to the table. The only reason for the 4-star rating was the quality and taste of the food. I found the food plain and a little lacking, but I will say people like my Dad love Dennys for that reason, lol.

My rating is 3.5 stars. I was out and about shopping on Sunday. I then realized that I was hungry and it was nearly 3 pm. I was on highway 407. I exited at Airport Road. I did a quick search on my GPS and this Denny's came up. I headed over there. I have a weakness for Denny's. I have fond memories of going there in Winnipeg. This Denny's is located in a plaza. The parking lot was busy, but there were plenty of spaces to park. I walked in and was promptly seated at a booth. I had a friendly, polite server taking my order and serving my food. I went with the French toast slam, which comes with sausage, bacon, and your choice of eggs. I went with scrambled. My server was attentive getting my Diet Coke, asking if I needed any butter, and whether I wanted dessert. I wish that I could have had the apple crumble, but I was stuffed. He was helpful letting me know that the wireless payment machine would give me a number of different prompts before I could insert my debit card. He was great. This restaurant was fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon. There were many crying kids and large groups of folks talking loudly. If you want peace and quiet, this place isn't for you on a Sunday afternoon. Otherwise, if you enjoy decent food, especially French toast, come here. (141)

Cristin was an amazing server, super friendly & so helpful in giving travel tips as we were visiting the GTA. Got the French toast slam & eggs Benedict which were great. We'd only just flown in and were waiting to check in to our hotel, so it was the perfect casual place to kill time mid afternoon! Even went back the next day for breakfast!

Honestly, it's comfort food lately and the service and quality have improved. The pancakes are always fluffy, and a beautiful golden brown. I have had strawberry topped, pumpkin topped and all have been exceptional. The country fried steak is my favorite meal from Denny's, it is always crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Paired with their cheesy mashed potatoes and corn it's actually really good. We tend to try a lot of their features, and it has yet to disappoint.

Always loved Denny's for the good tasting food at very reasonable rates. This specific location had a very friendly server when we went, and was also kept very clean and organized.

Ordered the "Santa Fe Sizzlin' Skillet" for brunch and it was a hearty meal. The flavors went well together, a good balance of carbs, fats, and protein. Full of goodness all in one skillet: the potatoes, red peppers, onions, bacon, eggs, and let's not forget the cheese! The service was fast and good!

Visited this place because they were offering Build Your Own Grand Slam for free on your birthday. It is very nice of them. My husband has a birthday today and we took a long drive to find Denny's. There really has not much Denny's around, none in GTA area. When we went there, there were not much customers, 3 other tables, but the service was suuuuuper slow, even with many employees walking around chatting, not really serving. Our server is a nice young lady, but she is often hiding in the kitchen, hard to find her. It is not our first time to go to Denny's. We have been to Niagara Falls and Mississauga Denny's many times and had great time with satisfying food, but unfortunately not this one. The food quality is good, but portion size are very small, like a kids meal. The coffee taste like plain hot water, definitely will not wake you up. Maybe that's why they can offer free refill. If I really need to go to Denny's again, will not go to this location again, will try other locations or go to Mississauga or Niagara Falls location.

Damn this was downhill. I'd been a faithful to the Denny's when it used to be on Queen St down the corner for a decade. This just no. The ambiance is nice an cozy, young staff. Some are being trained. Nothing took too long, waiter came around to ask, friendly. So no issues here. I will admit considering there were maybe 4 tables incl ours being used the restaurant wasn't clean. I could see visible dirt on the ground. The food though was another story. I've attached two comparisons of the image in the menu vs what was served as well. I know you can't make it as nice as the menu's of course, but at least try a little. I had the "Spicy" Skillet with Chicken. There wasn't even the "S" from spicy in there. It was bland. Needed a ton of hot sauce. Decent potatoes grilled, slammed with cheese. The chicken had no sauce on them, no flavour, just sliced up an thrown on top (considerably less than what was shown in the image). Mushrooms in both dishes were sliced so thin they would be impossible to sauté properly. The alaskan salmon skillet was sub par. On a bed of broccoli and more potatoes. Just didn't feel fresh. Took a bite an left it as is. This was the issue. I complained to the waiter that it was terrible and to please let the manager know. I don't think he understood (appeared as if in training) brought us the bill as is without any changes. When I requested the salmon be taken off the bill, he sought the manager who came though an asked what the issue was, then said she would take 50% off the price of the skillet. That's terrible. In a dining establishment, if less than 30% of the meal was eaten it's not charged at all. To top it off for a $14.59 skillet, 50% is $7.30, the "refund" was $7. The amount does not matter, it's negligible, it's the integrity. Not a Denny's I would care to visit again. This was disappointing.

    This is the special menu.

My grandpa and I came here to celebrate my birthday. We initially thought that we could order anything for free. Unfortunately, they were only serving breakfast, so I could not order what I had wanted. The breakfast included 2 pancakes, any drink, 2 eggs, and 4 pieces of bacon/turkey bacon. The Oreo milkshake and the pancakes were both amazing. The service in the restaurant was quite fast and I really liked our server. The pancakes and turkey bacon were both perfectly done. This has definitely been a memorable experience and I would not be surprised if I came back.

It's like McDonalds, you order at the counter BEFORE you sit down. Menu on the wall behind the cash register. You pour your own coffee and sit down. After a while your order comes out. We ordered but the orders got mixed. Eggs were scrambled eggs came out where the order was over medium. Other orders we also mixed up. One of my party was so hungry he just accepted the wrong order. On a good note all breakfasts have three eggs. My order came out right with eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. Bacon was cooked OK but there was not much meat in the strips. Potatoes looked good but there was just something that seemed off with them. Eggs were OK as was the toast. I liked that you could go back and refill your coffee cup but you had to get up walk over to the pot and refill your cup. Good portions were good with presentation also good. Place was clean and had an OK feeling inside. Guy behind the cash register seemed to be trying but, once again something just seemed off. As I'm not a local Brampton resident I can't address the prices but they seemed OK. At 9am on a Friday morning there were some customers but it was not crowded or empty. Overall not a bad place to have breakfast but I didn't like the McDonalds process. If I wanted fast food I'd god to McDonalds but I expected something a notch up. Bottom line, would I go back? Not by my choice. If I was tagging along with someone else that wanted to go here I would but first I would suggest somewhere else.

While in line, someone suggested the souvlaki and I was already aiming to get a gyro so I knew we were gonna be good. Parking was busy but not impossible to find here. It's fast casual. You can get food, some extra desserts and drinks/coffee and extra pita/flatbread or tzatziki sauce. I got a gyro and a "small" poutine. Let me just say that I've had a LOT of gyros and this one was by far the best. Tons of meat, toppings, just enough tzatziki that I didn't want to order an extra side (still should've). The poutine was enough to feed a family of four. Holy smokes this was spectacular. I'd have gotten extra gravy bc it's so much tastier here in Canada than anyplace in the USA. Family owned, this is a great place to come alone or with friends. You can eat something different every single time and it's just so delicious. I will be back. My goal is to try more stuff every time I'm here but the gyro was perfection so who knows? Support small owned businesses!

This was one of the only places a guy that I was seeing when I was in my early twenties and I would go, late at night, when we knew we wouldn't catch anyone else we knew out. The food was predictable, always - and not in a bad way - it just hit the spot after a night of drinking, or when you are hungover. The salad will forever have too much dressing and will be the unhealthiest thing but the souvlaki here was honestly the most shocking thing. Mind you I have not been in six and a half or seven years so don't take my word for it, but for a place to be around this long and still have loyal customers - they're really doing something right, it's not just sheer luck so give it a go! There is zero ambiance or date night feel here, okay. Don't take your girl unless you've been married over ten years. It's boys or girls night out material only. haha
