The staff is rude and unprofessional. Disability claim was denied because they did not submit the claim form in a timely manner. Then I get not one but two phone calls from one of the rudest drs office employee ever attempting to place the blame on me for their unprofessional work ethic. Needless to say we can kiss the disability payment goodbye because good luck getting the state to do anything. Save your self a ton of time and headaches. Go to urgent care a block away. read more

Very dismissive. No personality and does not follow-up on tests. Without the details, he ignored the information that I provided and obviously didn't review the blood test and urine test. I have had 2 operations to correct something he totally dismissed. I luckily found other doctors that actually care. They totally understand my reasons for changing primary doctor. read more

The staff are friendly but this place is a total joke I had an apt at 1015 it's not 1120 I got here at 10am... why even make appointments ? I have a life too ! I have work I have somewhere to be do they have any concern for the fact people take off to come to these Apts and our time is just as valuable.. since when did making an apt for the dr mean you should carve out three hours in your day to sit and wait .. My family and I have been going to Dr Bernardo for years and he is a wonderful, caring physician! We all love him and he has helped all of us when we have health issues! The building here is not glamorous for sure and it is because of the owner/ landlord... there are many other professionals in the building at 50 Franklin Tpk and I am surprised the owner does not maintain this building better ! Nevertheless we LOVE Dr Bernardo and his staff and we will continue to go to him as we trust him! read more

Very dissatisfied with this practice. I am in the process of switching to another provider in the area. 45 minute+ wait times. I have waited over an hour before with a scheduled appointment. The staff is unapologetic for these wait times and quite rude. The office was not clean and looked outdated and grimy. The medical assistant did not sterilize the blood pressure cuff after taking my pressure. I am ready to gag after leaving his office. Luckily I rarely need to go but 2 times a year has proven too much and after giving him a fair chance for 2 years now I am fed up and will be switching primary care physicians. read more

Dr Bernardo is a knowledgeable, professional, fantastic physician. And their new office space is impressive. Sadly, the problem is waiting time! Never (not once) have I been out of their office in under 2 hours (and always with a scheduled appointment). Expect to wait well over 1hr in waiting room, 30+ minutes waiting in exam room for Dr. to show up, and 10 mins with Dr. It's unfortunate the office admin staff can not manage wait times, because professional services are superior. read more

Dr. Bernardo himself is a very caring person, very into making sure he answers all of your questions properly. You never feel rushed out or swept under the rug. The staff is another story. Rude, careless, good at dodging questions, very good at not returning phone calls when trying to schedule an appointment. I have had to barge in on one occasion and raise hell just to get looked at for a medical condition. If this doctor was at another location with nicer staff, I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Good doctor, terrible customer service. He personally said he would take my plan, checked it, and took my copay. A few months later his billing department billed me for all of it because they really didn't take my plan and never told me. They refused to discuss it and everyone in the office ran for cover. It's a shame, because Dr. Bernardo had always been very helpful, but I was forced to change providers since it's impossible to communicate with them. read more

I have been using Dr.Bernardo as my primary physician for years, I have trusted him with his diagnosis and i have recommended him to my friends. He answers all your questions and you are not rushed. Due to rising cost of insurance premiums my employer has switched plans practically every year and every plan network that i had he is a participating physician. Each visiting room is equipped with a computer and your medical history is accessed instantaneously, and your prescriptions are automatically sent to your pharmacy. The practice is shared also with DR. Levin whom she specializes on gynecology and diabetes that my wife and daughters trust. Waiting time is about 20 min. to half hr most of the prime time i think this average besides, Good care is more important to me than being rushed to keep a schedule. The practice is associated with Englewood my favorite and valley Hospitals, where they also can readily access your records. read more
