They even took the time to show me my engine filter (which I knew I had been neglecting), and swapped it out in no time at all--and at a very reasonable price. This review is for Collier Goodyear South at 6220 Collier Blvd…read more I Went there the other day for an oil change on my 2016 Honda Pilot and they did their usual overall inspection. They advised me that the right front CV boot was leaking grease and the axel needed to be replaced. They showed me a picture of the CV boot and it appeared dirty. I asked if the boot was ripped and they said, "Obviously" that's why it's leaking grease. They wanted $681.00 to make the repair. I didn't let them complete the repair, because I didn't agree with their diagnosis. Later that day I brought the car to a certified Honda mechanic who inspected the vehicle and found nothing wrong with the CV boot, or the axel, but instead saw that the head gasket was leaking oil. That was the fluid that was on the boot. The mechanic completed the proper repair and advised me of a couple recommended repairs to complete in the future that Goodyear never mentioned. Goodyear completely misdiagnosed my car which could've cost me over $700.00 to repair the wrong issue. Unfortunately I can't trust them and will probably never go back to them again.

The very nice mechanic who thankfully ended up handling the rest of the service said to me, "he's like that with everyone, even us", but I don't think that has really anything to do with me, he called me stupid, and at this point I wanted to just leave, and I really should have (lesson learned) but I had to have the oil change done today so unfortunately I just dealt with it. I had 2 other oil changes done here previously with no problem, but I don't want to spend my money to end up being treated rudely/collateral damage because someone is "having a bad day" or "that's just how they are". Why not just be a nice person?
