Don't consider about going to this place if you want to do your braces. They never stay to one appointment, when they call you in for an "appointment" it's just a 2 minute check up and reschedule you. They waste time. I like the orthodontist here so that's why I come, but when my kids come they just waste time and don't actually do anything without me knowing. read more

The location is good, and we like that she charges for the expected time frame and no extra afterward, even if it took you longer to get your teeth done. We don't like that we have to wait for almost an hour, every time, with an appointment. They need to improve their system for taking patients. First off, there will always be 2 sides to each story. Her office is always very busy, but she delivers great results! It is on the client to make the appointment once they walk out of the office! There's only 1 doctor and thousands of clients. Nevertheless to say, she is the most ethical doctor I've seen! She helps those in needs! When I told her my financial situation, she even furthered out my payment without interest. On top of that, she never disrespect anyone from what I've seen even if they don't pay on time like me or not give service. By the end of the day, I paid up and am very happy with my smile. So many compliments. Most doctors said I have to extract before braces. Doctor Doan based off my xray and said no extraction and worked around it. I'm happy that I ended up going with Kifer dental as my ortho office, Dr Doan as well as her staff are all very friendly and very attentive when I'm there. Office is clean and spacious, and I'm never there for very long. Office manager Paola who also works the front and does insurance is very nice and always makes sure to accommodate me in the schedule since I work all the way in Palo Alto and it sometimes can be hard to make it in the office during the day. I too agree that Dr. Doan and her staff are great! This is my second child with braces and what a different experience. I wish I had found her with my first son. They are always flexible with the apt times. My only issues are they are not open before noon and they days they are open. But since we only need to go in once a month its not too that bad. Their waiting room can get a little crazy but it seems they have everything under control. When he is in the chair I am able to sit next to him so if i have any questions she is right there to answer me. She explains whats going on with his treatment.
