I continued seeing Dr. Wu and his staff, and always felt well taken care of. The facility is clean and calming. The staff is patient, soft spoken, and puts you at ease. The services are reasonable in price and I've never had to wait for my session to start. They have a small parking lot but it gets the job done, as there are not many people that visit at one time. I halted my sessions at the end of last year around the holidays due to a long trip that I took with family, from Christmas until after the new year. I was determined to avoid surgery at all costs. I started with PT, saw a craniosacral therapist and looked for a chiropractor. Dr. Askinasi was recommended to me by several co-workers. I started seeing him. Little by little, getting stronger I was able to add ballet and some Pilates and other exercises to help strengthen my core and I have been able to avoid surgery. Except for exercise in various forms, the only other consistent has been Dr. Askinasi. For the most part I see him twice a month. Recently I have also experienced a pinched nerve due to erosion in my neck. Dr. Askinasi was able to order an x-ray where we had the results the same day he wrote the prescription, and has also referred me to excellent doctors when needed. I know I would not be able to enjoy all I do if it wasn't for his adjustments on a regular basis. But the problems were much more than that. I suffer from lack of muscular balance in my legs. I don't have the mid-back strength to hold my neck in place. Throughout this process, I've learned more about taking good care of my body than you would expect from a "chiropractor." Please do at least stop by. They always treated me with respect and were eager to help me with my chronic headaches. The front desk staff as well are superb--they are kind, caring and work hard to make sure all clients needs are met including reminder calls, working out billing issues etc. The office Manager is fantastic as well-she always was in a good mood and kept me updated if the Chiropractors were running late etc. They try to fit as many appointments as possible into every hr so often there could be a bit of a wait when you get into one of the rooms and they are a bit rushed to have your treatment completed. Unfortunately, the extensive amounts of appointments and money spent did not help my headaches in the end. I went for multiple months and at first 4 days/week for a while, then 3 days and eventually twice a week. I also was paying out of pocket until I met my insurance deductible as well. I suffer from a rare type of headache disorder which does not respond well to Chiropractic Care it seems and perhaps made it worse--I have been going regularly to Physical Therapy and that has given me some relief. Just understand that Chiropractic care will not help EVERYONE, and they do extensive testing to try to design a care plan for you but it is not guaranteed to help in the end...I am glad I gave it a shot however.
