If you're dealing with pain, fertility challenges, or just trying to improve your health, I highly recommend Dr. Gee. I originally went to him for back pain but shared my struggle with secondary infertility after years of trying and multiple IVF attempts. With his acupuncture and custom herbal teas, my inflammation improved, I was cleared for another transfer, and my third IVF finally worked. Today, I have my baby boy, and I truly believe Dr. Gee played a big role. He's knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares. My family continues to see him, and we're so grateful. read more

Disclaimer: Sadly, I didn't trust him enough to even make it to the acupuncture part. I walked into Gee's office, and it was my first time being to an acupuncturist, so of course I was hopeful but also a bit nervous. Gee came on SO strongly straight off the bat. He sat with me and gave me a long lecture about how he has more years of experience than any other doctor. I started to feel like it was an interrogation or test. He began to raise his voice, asking how I would check to see if the place is credible, and then further felt it was his job to explain that he's studied thousands of herbs which is why he's the real deal. It just sounded like he was defending his practice because of an insecurity. Not only that, but when he asked me what I do for a living and I told him, he made patronizingly made fun of it. He said "____________ in china are sh**". I responded that I don't like cursing straight to his face, and he completely ignored me and proceeded to mock the way "Americans" treat that job like it's an important one. I was so stunned by the unprofessionalism that when he told me to "just enjoy it", I was unable to even imagine receiving any sense of relief or relaxation in an environment like that. He said "this is not a babysitting service" when I was hesitant to dress, yet he kept putting pressure on me to get acupuncture, as if yelling would help change my mind which was already 90 percent made up on the call to leave. I drove an hour for Gee, only to find out that his practice just isn't a good fit for me. I truly hope that he does provide quality care which counteracts his rudeness and bedside manner, but I guess I wasn't willing to take the risk on that tradeoff. read more

My ex-wife had serious asthma, along with other issues which were requiring her to take anti-biotics she wished to avoid. Dr. Gee provided a combination of acupuncture and herbal remedies that, not only enabled her to avoid the anti-biotics, but improved her asthma to the point she only periodically needed the use of an inhaler. If one is willing to talk, he will vociferously discuss his views on medical care, and the man backs it up with effective solutions and empathetic care. I would recommend him to anyone, and I have. read more

Dr. Gee is an outstanding holistic medical physician whom I highly recommend for traditional Chinese medicine treatments. My first visit resulted in far less back and hip pain with such a relaxed feeling. He also creates personalized herbal tea formulas which work in conjunction with his therapy for optimum long-lasting effects. He is a wonderful professional who after weekly treatments, I now visit and look forward to "tune ups". read more

Dr. Gee is a traditional Chinese medicine herbalist and acupuncturist. If you know anything about Chinese medicine, you'll know you're working with a REAL Chinese doctor! Dr. Gee has studied for decades. He is not the typical acupuncturist holding certifications for pain management. He does more than pain management. If you're open-minded and have good energy/vibes he is for you! Dr. Gee specializes in making custom herbal formulas that work. He has helped me with many complaints, including assisting with my cancer care. He helped build up my immune system before and after chemo. The results...I did not lose much weight, my white and red blood cell counts remained normal the entire time! Not saying my chemo was a breeze, but I saw too many other patients in the hospital suffering with anemia and severe neuropathy from the chemo which kills good and bad cells. I maintained my strength and vitality though tough times with his formulas and treatments. He gives free advice on self- care as well. I'm glad I went to Dr. Gee for advice before my chemo treatments. In addition to his expert medical care, he is also is a great motivator and supporter during the tough times through his humor and compassion. read more

My husband and I went to see Dr. Gee. We have been to a number of acupuncturists and were looking for someone in our area. Dr Gee was raving the whole time in a loud voice about how he's misunderstood. This was very unsettling and really made us nervous when we should be relaxing and healing. I had hip pain and right after receiving a treatment from him, my hip pain was worse for a few days and then settled back to how painful it was before I saw Dr Gee- no improvement from his treatment. His herbal remedies are very expensive and he gives an herbal sales pitch at the end of the acupuncture treatment. We will not see him again! read more

So nice to have a holistic Dr in my neighborhood. Dr. Gee is super kind and listens to your problems. I have a lot of respect for a man that has dedicated his whole life to help people heal. Especially, when it comes from an holistic approach. My acupuncture session was really relaxing and helped tremendously with my stress. I'm actually shocked to find a negative review after I left his office. Extremely shocked. I can't thank him enough for what he does. I looking forward to a brighter future! Thank you Dr. Gee! read more

I was literally walking crooked for several days. Emergency departments in the past had stated "it's muscular" and CT showed degenerative disease. I would inadvertently tweak my back with the simplest of movements. A co-worker recommended Dr. Gee since he had helped her get better after a back injury. I was hesitant about acupuncture but decided that I had nothing to lose. So far Dr. Gee has helped me immensely. I also had pain to my foot which I was informed would probably need surgery. After one visit with Dr. Gee my foot pain which I had for years resolved and after a few weeks My back is much improved. Dr. Gee also made me a custom tea with quite an acquired taste which has also helped me heal. Dr. Gee has changed my life & I would hands down recommend him. read more

I've been fortunate enough to work down the block from Dr. Gee. I work in a deli and have been in the food service industry for just over 14 years. Part of the job is a tremendous amount of hour on my feet which eventually took its toll. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis years ago and I was told that my only option were cortisone shots or surgery that would leave me in recovery for a month or more. Luckily I spoke Dr. Gee and he explained a course of action I could take through him. I skeptically took him up on his treatments. Now I've been to him from everything from migraines to constipation to anxiety to depression to water on the knee and he's a miracle worker. Dr. Gee's knowledge and patience never ceases to amaze me. If you're looking for the real deal holist look no further. Dr. David Gee has been practicing holism since high school and has study in Korea, Japan, China, and the USA. He uses practices long forgotten not for they're ineffectiveness but for the sheer amount of skill needed to execute. He is in a league of his own when it comes to holism and acupuncture. Definitely in the top tier off his craft. Out of the hundreds to practice acupuncture in New York and the thousands in America. Dr. Gee keeps to the top 2% of these practitioners by staying true to the life long teachings he has endured through his studies. Now I know when I mention him to people, the first question they ask me is "does he take insurance?". No he does not but my reply is always the same "If you're in pain or have exhausted all other options or are interested in holism and natural remedies. Dr. Gee is hands down the best at what he does and worth every penny to try. Also he is not crazy expensive. Probably as much as your co pay for a traditional MD." He is absolutely worth your time. Just stay the course and listen to his advice wholly. read more

Dr. David Gee of Mt. Vernon/Fleetwood. Five Stars!! Absolutely!! And here's why. Experience One. I recently lost my spouse after a year's battle with Cancer. The stress and grief took its toll on my health. Pre-diabetes became full diabetes. Cholesterol, blood pressure, arthritis, and digestion set off alarms for medical intervention. The prescriptions from my endocrinologist created intolerable side effects. I stopped them and sought an alternative. I discovered Dr. Gee. Humorous, professional, thorough and compassionate. He prescribed a custom formula of herbal teas for one month. My well being bounced back. Subsequent blood work showed that the alarming numbers were leveling closer to normal. Prescription drugs are not required. Experience Two. I now felt so good that I accepted an assignment to again work in mainland China for six weeks. Once in China, I experienced severe constipation. Nothing brought relief. I was brought to a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital to see one of their highest doctors. She prescribed herbal teas. Still, the constipation continued. My legs began to swell and my knees and legs became extremely painful. I ended up seeing the head gastroenterologist of a major Western Medicine Hospital and was directly admitted. Treatment with purgatives and antibiotics took two days. The swelling of the legs, severe leg pain and knee pain continued. Xrays and Ultrasounds of the legs showed no physical cause. I was brought to a professor and head of another major Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. He prescribed a new formulation of herbal teas. Again, they had no effect. As soon as I returned to the US, I came to Dr. Gee. He immediately put me on a month of his herbal teas and added acupuncture treatments to the back, stomach, legs and knees. Each treatment progressed into improved mobility and less knee and leg pain. The swelling of the legs and knees returned to normal. And regularity returned to my bowels. Follow-up medical examinations; colonoscopy, leg ultrasound, knee xrays, MRI of the stomach and pelvis, and blood work are all fine. An MRI of the lower spine shows stenosis and nerve compression. The cause of the leg and knee pain is finally discovered. The neurologist can only recommend injections or surgery. My good fortune is to experience the beneficial results of Dr. Gee's treatments. He's the real deal. Over the years I have been treated by herbalists in China and China Town. I have gone to a NYC acupuncture doctor who was sought by celebrities. Dr. Gee is clearly the most effective of all. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this Dr. He has helped me when my primary and orthopedic couldn't/wouldn't help. Chronic pain for years, 12 tests later, no one can tell me why I had pain, why my knee was swelling everyday, and i was told that my frozen shoulder had to be handled after my primary issues. Dr Gee has my shoulder moving in 6 sessions and within those 6, I had 4 for my knee. After the 4 sessions for my knee, I only get localized swelling when I overuse my knee. I am continuing the knee sessions until I am good! He also makes teas. The tea tastes terrible, it it does the body and soul good. I've had post menstrual symptoms for over 7 years, they are almost all gone. I sleep better, and feel more in control of myself in stressful situations. A side effect of stranger nails is a big plus. I say the tea does the soul good because stress is a killer, and if you are able to dominate your stress, your soul feels at peace and balanced. I have found myself in a couple of situations that I can look back and feel good about I handled it as opposed to a couple of months ago which I would have lost control. Living a better quality of life now! SH read more

I went to see Dr. Gee on Friday, he told me that acupuncture will not help my issues but herbs for the next 3 months for $500 each will save me, total $1,500. After his sales pitch, he performed acupuncture on me, for temporary relief. He did his thing and removed them. I get up and put my hand on the back of my neck and I felt needles, "sorry lady, sorry lady". I started moving around, again placed my hand on my neck to find more needles. I really don't know what to say about a doctor that leaves needles twice in my body. read more

I know Dr. Gee since 2012 and continue to see Dr. Gee. Initially, I started seeing Dr. Gee from neck/back issues stemming from my occupation. At first, I was skeptical about giving acupuncture a second try, having had a previous experience with another acupuncturist without much success. I can say from experience that Dr. Gee by far has been the most caring, comprehensive and effect of all of my healthcare providers. At the initial visit/ assessment, he explained his philosophy as whole body treatment which can include herbal medicine as part of holistic care. I have tried his herbal teas for a variety of conditions and can say from personal experience that I have benefitted from them. He has never pushed or tried to hard sell me on herbal remedies. He simply makes a professional recommendation. Dr. Gee is extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional. I highly recommend him. read more

He really tries to hit the root of your pain. I have been going to him since 2009 and highly recommend him. The hour long treatment is so worth it. If you have real pain.. I went to Dr. Gee for sciatica and general lethargy during the winter of 2018. He sat down with me for about a half hour/45min to talk with me about what my issues were, ask me some essential questions and conduct some tests. He explained that he could treat the issues I was having with acupuncture, cupping and medicinal tea. I went to Dr. Gee twice a week for a few weeks then as the pain got better decreased to once a week for about a month. Not only did my sciatic pain go away completely but the tea really helped my sleep and energy levels. I still go once a month for stress and how that manifests in my shoulders as well as an overactive mind. I find the sessions relaxing and I appreciate Dr. Gee's knowledge and his humor. I am glad to have found a treatment that is extremely personal and steeped in experience. read more

Dr. Gee is a great acupuncturist. Made my back feel much better. A very relaxing atmosphere and he is very humorous. I highly recommend

I called Dr. Gee to see whether or not he took my insurance. First off, Dr. Gee answered his phone himself; not a receptionist. I thought this was odd. When I asked about the insurance, he went off on me; yelling that his business was a holistic "spa" that didn't take insurance. He talked over me and then hung up on me! Less than two minutes later, HE called me back, stating that my number was on his caller ID. I told him that it was me who had just called to find out about insurance. I said I only wanted information and if I'd insulted him, I apologize. He told me to come by his facility to check it out and then he hung up; AGAIN! NEVER, EVER would I give this "DOCTOR" a penny of my money. I am truly amazed this "DOCTOR" recieved ANY stars!! Unfortunately, I cannot give ZERO STARS to this RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL "DOCTOR"!! read more

I've been going to Dr. Ghee for Chronic and Acute Pain since 2014. He has a light hearted funny demeanor to ease his patients that I appreciate. Dr. Ghee's knowledge in acupuncture and holistic medicine extends beyond what is practiced in the US. I am a walking testament of his skills. After injuring my knee and back since Feb. of 2017 the option of knee surgery was being discussed. My knee was always inflamed and after 5mons of PT I wasn't near any progress that I want. I finally referred my knee issue to him and after 3 sessions it have improved leaps and bounds. My physiatrist was even amazed of the improvement and took his info. After taking his customized herb solution, my back wasn't spastic and tense. His prices are reasonable and he's so dedicated to his craft that he's willing to work on prices with his customers. What consumers need to understand is that there's 3 other acupuncture sites around he's area but he's been there forever and the busiest. Dr. Ghee practices not driven by money. He would never create unnecessary visits just to get your money. He continues to practice bec of his passion for the craft and servicing the community. read more
