We called den defenders a few months ago because our original screen doors were not secure. They were flimsy and allowed for spiders and other bugs to crawl in when we were trying to get some airflow throughout the house. After calling Den Defenders, they were able to send out a representative, Eli, to come by within a week of our call to get us started. When I was on the call with the lady at their office, I appreciated that she shared the prices with me upfront so that there were no surprises when Eli came out. Eli was very professional and helpful and supported us in making the best decision for the screen doors that we wanted for both our front door and back sliding door. They let us know that they would be able to install our doors after they receive them around middle of October. They reached out in early September to let us know that the doors had arrived and were ready for installation. They ended up being able to install the screen doors about a month ahead of time . Ross and Nick completed the installation of the doors. They showed up exactly on time and got right to work. The installation took around 4 to 5 hours. Ross and Nick were very friendly and super thorough in the work that they completed. We are very happy with both the front door and the back sliding door. I had an issue with the room filling with smoke when we used the fireplace insert. I had the local company that sold me the unit come out twice and assured me that all was OK. We didn't use the fireplace for the next two years and decided to have Mike's mobile service check everything out. Anthony did a thorough cleaning and examination and found three major issues wrong including a sizeable crack in the posterior aspect of the fire box. Bryan W and Vincent were fantastic! I got a text message with an ETA about 10 minutes before they arrived and they were right on time. Very pleasant and extremely professional. They did a great job on our fireplace insert cleaning and I swear the spot in front of the fireplace was cleaner when they left than when they first got there - LOL!! I have an elderly dog who gave me a little health scare as they were winding down and they quickly moved the truck out of the driveway in case I needed to leave and also warned the Fed Ex guy who was pulling up not to block my way either! My husband came home as they were packing things up and had some questions about screens - they took the time to talk with him, show us some frame and fabric samples, go over different installation options, etc. This was the last call of their day but at no point did we feel like they were rushing through to leave - we will definitely be contacting this firm to get a formal quote for this work too. I had a few text interactions with Melanie the day before the install and she was extremely responsive which was also nice. We are a little ways out of town and sometimes it is hard to find firms that will service our area.
