This past week my husband and I finalized our home refinance. We got an incredible rate, but before I go into all of that I'd like give a little back story. We just recently closed on our new home and Gentec Mortgage made the entire process super smooth and stress free! The process for us was easy and simple from the online application to how we downloaded documents. Demond was great, he gave us a weekly update on where we were but was also was great about communicating with us through out the week! Let me tell you that before Gentec Mortgage we had started with a different company and our experience was very opposite! After soliciting our "major bank" about financing for a mortgage for a new home, I asked Mr. Johnson for a quick review of possible options, where he provided a step-by-step view of both the process that his firm would engage in, as well as how it would differ from competitors. Admittedly, after bad experiences a couple of decades ago, I was a bit leery about engaging with mortgage brokers or lenders.
