Seth and his helper wired a 4 season sunroom, added a new panel to support that room plus some…read moreother outdoor wiring. The quote was good and they showed up when they said they would. Issue 1: Without asking anyone, Seth drilled through a brand new flat rubber (EPDM) roof to install conduit. My builder was onsite and after was not happy. Then he improperly installed the rubber cup (aka witches hat) to seal. This was outside exposed to rain and ice and obviously would have filled. I had to ask Seth to remove that conduit. Then asked my roofing contractor to come back and repair the roof properly. Issue 2: Seth left an open panel inside an unfinished area of the basement with 15' of wiring exiting the panel and laying on the floor. The wiring used to run my 240VAC irrigation pump. I had to remind him (see pic) about this the day before the final building inspection. He fixed it. Issue 3: Seth added the new outside panel, but never added the 240 VAC breakers for the pump! Seth says I asked to have the original line removed but did not want a new line to my pump...somehow. Did he ask? Does that make any sense? The pump saver is 12" from the panel. Today I asked Seth about the missing 240VAC circuit. Seth "is too busy". This last bit is why I am writing a review today. Root cause: Making assumptions without asking.

Everything was explained to us in great detail of how to swap over from commercial power to our generator in the event of a power loss. We had a plug installed for a portable generator, a dedicated outlet for a freezer, as well as a 240v outlet to charge our EV. We would recommend Mac Electric! Their prices were competitive and the quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations.

Called and emailed multiple times in August to start the job, no responses. Six more calls, voice mails, and an email in September just to find out what is going on and no responses. I understand contractors get busy but we have been talking about my simple project for months, have a quote and now I am ghosted? I can't recommend Nuwave as they have horrible communications and no integrity to follow up. Really inconvenient for my family as I now need to start all over finding another contractor. If they can't or don'want to do the work a simple 2-mintue phone call would take care of it but this ignoring customers that agreed to a schedule is just unprofessional. Brad A. in Center Harbor

Rip off artists, incompetents and worse. I hired Nuwave to work on my heating system including…read morethermostats and Mitsubishi wall units. They did a terrible job and worse. First they used the bait and switch. Nuwave suggested I replace my lightbulbs to lower my electrical bill - good idea as my house is 5000 sq feet. The bad part is they quoted me one price and charged another Because I had replacement plug-in lamps on site that they were to use. Somehow they went missing during their job and they had to go out and buy them. Obviously this smells to high heavens. Next they left the job never having worked on the thermostats. I had to pay them an extra service fee multiple times for them to go back and simply fix the thermostats they improperly installed. Additionally they never hooked up to the Wi-Fi five other thermostats. I have recently left over seven messages for them to call back. After they received my check they pulled a disappearing act. I've had to move on to another company. Avoid this company like the plague. When the pandemic is over I plan to sue them. It's really not worth my time but I'm going to do it anyway because somethings just aren't right. There's nothing right about Nuwave
