If I could give less than 0 I would. I scheduled a deep clean. I had problems with my sink so explained, in advance, alternatives to make sure it was still ok to schedule. I have two other sinks available. They agreed. From the very first hour I started receiving calls from them, stating the sink was not working and they should not have scheduled. Frustrated I agreed to pay them anyway if they would do the rest of the cleaning. When I arrived home, it was unbelievable. They did NOT even dust. They did not clean face of stove but cleaned top. They did not clean out the sink they used and left hair and debris. I called and shared concerns. Their responses were worse than the service. They minimized agreement about sink limitations, repeatedly kept stating they were sorry I did not have a "good experience" rather than at least acknowledging they absolutely did not keep with their end of the contract. They did agree to discount after I showed them multiple pictures. When they discounted, they actually added the new fee while the hold was still on my account for the original fee. Essentially locked up almost $600 in cash flow. When I confirmed the amount with my bank, I realized they had made my fee reoccurring without authorization. I ended up having to pay for a stop payment in order to interrupt their unauthorized reoccurring fee. It is beyond bad business. I am reporting them to BBB. Save yourself some time, money, and lots of aggravation but never using Deluxe Maid. read more

I hired for a regular home cleaning. The first time was supposed to be "deep clean" but it wasn. They came back out to correct which was great. But then they kept canceling the regularly-scheduled appointments one day prior. This happened twice in a row. While I was able to reschedule the first one, they couldn't get me in for another week (ew). The second time it happened, they didn't offer any concessions so I just canceled the service altogether. The excuse they gave both times was that they didn't have someone available. If you don't have someone available at a certain timeslot, don't set it up for that. read more

THIS is the deep cleaning I wanted and needed. First: DeluxeMaid is insured and bonded. They hire experienced cleaners, and guarantee the work. They also have high ratings on Yelp, Google and Facebook -- so the reviews really seem to jive with service. They do not require a deposit. Instead, they put a hold on a credit card, and charge the day after the work is completed... once management is assured the job was completed to customer satisfaction. On the phone, the person I spoke with was professional and friendly, and the estimate and booking process was painless. They agreed to use my cleaning supplies, including my carpet cleaner, as I requested. I was told a crew of three people should take about 4-4.5 hours to complete the work. The team of three arrived in the middle of the arrival window, and took 4.5 hours to complete the work. They arrived masked and remained that way. They introduced themselves, and paid attention as I showed them around. Dania, Gabby, and Brenda were joined by a fourth person, Ines, after a short while. They were THOROUGH. They had to go over the slapdash job the gals from Becht Pride did, and cleaned everything properly. By properly: * They removed all cobwebs and dusted ceilings, walls, chair rails, and floor moulding trim, all light bulbs, light fixtures and vents. * They removed every item from the shelves, cleaned it, cleaned the shelves, then put it all back. * They cleaned every surface properly, with the correct cleaner. * They cleaned the door handles and smudged walls. * They moved everything on the floor, including furniture, cleaned under it, and put it back. * They left the bathrooms spotless. * They cleaned the insides of all the windows, carefully; they removed every spot. They opened the windows and cleaned the sills and tracks. * If they had questions, they asked me. They showed me their work as they went along. They chatted and laughed as they worked, making the process pleasant and comfortable. * Afterward, Dania took me on a tour of everything that had been done... and the house sparkled. It's cleaner than it's been since we moved in! So! I called them and scheduled a regular cleaning. I hope I get any of that team -- they were amazing. THEIR CLEANERS BROKE MY BLINDS, PEELED OFF MY WALL PAINT AND RAN AWAY HALFWAY TROUGH THE CLEANING! And they tried to deny it with bad lies even after I showed clear before and after photos. A woman and a man showed up for the cleaning, it was fine the first hour, the incident happened while the man was cleaning upstairs and the woman was cleaning the kitchen and the first floor bathroom. She claimed the bathroom was done so I went there to check the status and the status of the garage floor, and when I came back about a minute after, they were already in their car leaving, without saying anything to me. I found it unprofessional at the moment but didn't suspect anything was seriously wrong. I went back and found half of my cabinet was not cleaned at all, the hard water scales was also not cleaned properly and that's when I found my WALL PAINT WAS DAMAGED at the second floor sink. It got worse when I looked at the bedroom blinds, one of the STRINGS WAS BROKEN, it was clearly pulled with great force because the angle it was hanging was to the far right of where it was supposed to be, at least 5 centimeters right, they pulled it hard until it broke. That's when it suddenly made so much sense to me why they RAN AWAY while I was checking status and the cleaning was not remotely finished. The infuriating part was just starting, I contacted their management about the situation, they went straight to denying it. So I sent them the photo of the house which was taken by professional photographer just a few days ago and I took current pictures from the same angle showing the damage. Seeing these solid evidence wasn't enough to make them to admit to it. They started saying they didn't clean this blinds at all, they claimed to have cleaned TWO blinds on the first floor (I added a total of two blinds cleaning), and sent me ONE picture showing THE ONLY blinds on the first floor. I was almost laughing at how poorly they fabricated their lie, there is only ONE blinds on the first floor. After they got so embarrassingly exposed by their own lies, they finally agreed to pay back the damages they caused. While continuing to say "our cleaners have no reason to lie", I don't see a person with a better reasons to lie, unless you don't make your employees responsible for the damage they cause in other people's homes, which makes your business even worse. I called for a last-minute cleaning on an apartment I recently moved out of. The woman who answered the phone was very polite and able to schedule me for a deep cleaning two days from when I called! Sonya arrived timely and politely introduced herself, then looked over my place to get an idea of what I wanted done. She worked for three hours and got the place absolutely spic and span! About a week after writing my initial review, I got a call from DeluxeMaid, apologizing for what had happened. The explanation was that one of the managers was out of the office when the situation with my oven occurred and the remaining manager was busy and did not properly handle the situation. They indicated that the cleaning crew would no longer be using the product that damaged my oven labels and offered to pay for a new part as a "good faith" gesture. However, they also asked if I would delete my review as they were a small company and bad reviews like mine had a particularly negative effect. I understand their concern but found this request inappropriate as you cannot erase what happened. I told them I would not delete the review but would consider updating it. A week later, I received a check for $345 in the mail to cover the cost of the part, which has cleared my account. I am updating my review from 1 to 3 stars but do not feel I can go higher than that given that the situation occurred in the first place and has cost me both time and money (I'll need to pay for install of the new part). I don't write reviews unless service is particularly good, or equally bad, and it's a poor reflection on the company that it took a 1-star review to get them to take responsibility for what occurred. In my case, I gave them ample opportunity to respond with a clear request to pay for the part, prior to ever writing my review. In the future, I hope they'll take the proper actions to remedy any issues that occur with other clients. Accidents happen, but it's how you deal with them that matters most. read more

Moral of the story: not worth the money or your time unless you need something small like a once a month mopping of your floors/ bathroom cleaned. Cleaner #1: BEYOND amazing and we had her for about a year on weekly cleans. Would tidy up after my messy kids and always made our home look "company ready". When she left the company we weren't told that we were losing our regular cleaner until the night before our clean. Cleaner #2: For 2 weeks we couldn't even tell she had come. After the first week we reached out and they sent a second person with her. We still had no clue they had come if we hadn't seen the floors had been mopped. Don't worry though, we still paid full price. Cleaner #3: had an issue with my 16 year old daughter being there (spring break) and our farm dog (we have 10 acres - he runs free all the time) was loose and she was scared so she left without even doing our clean. Keep in mind, our file lists that our dog is out free and that he is overly nice, nothing has changed. While management was attentive and always promised to correct issues (keep in mind we got NO refund for the cleans where almost nothing was done) - they obviously didn't take the time to actually look at our file before they sent the next substandard employee to our home. read more

It was so easy to book and schedule online which I so appreciate when juggling a million other move-in things to schedule. The two cleaners arrived on time and were there for about 6-7 hours, wow! We did a walk thru first so they knew my main areas of focus. They were great to work with, and I came and went throughout the day with no issues. We had some NASTY kitchen drawers that made me queasy and they cleaned them up so well! They took their time and really worked on some caked on stains in different parts of the house. I have used a number of cleaning services over the years. Invariably, there is an issue with consistency in quality or reliability. I switched to DeluxeMaid a few years ago, and I have been extremely happy with the service. My maid (it is the same young lady every time) is very attentive to detail and takes pride in doing a high quality job. The first time she came, I was like "wow, this is exactly what I want." I did not have to point anything out that was missed or done poorly. She is also very personable. She always chats with us if we are home and our animals love her. Would absolutely not recommend. I paid for a cleaning "move out" for a house I bought that was very dirty. I've told them the previous owner had several cats; I've explained everything. I've actually paid for extra cleaning: window sills, inside oven and fridge and the total came to almost $450. They said they would have the cleaner use products that remove smells. Then on the day of cleaning, when I've already paid them, they started telling me that there was cat pee on the floor and they would only "clean around it" because it was a "biohazard". I told them there were cats in the house! When I went to walk in after the cleaning, there was still dust on window sills, chimney mantel and it looked like the floor was only swept and not washed, because the house was still clearly smelly. This is the last time I'm using this service and neither my family and friends will use it. I had to postpone my moving date for a week because of this. I had to get my friends to help me clean the whole house again and we did a better job than they did! I should have gotten a clue when the cleaning lady had super long fingernails with nail polish on them. How are you supposed to clean with those? Horrible service all around! read more

Selecting a cleaning service can be suppppeerrrr scary. 1.) are they going to clean as thoroughly as I would? 2.) can I trust this new person in our home? 3.) are there going to be all sorts of hidden fees/unexpected expenses rolled into this? Luckily, all of these departments ended on the positive side with Deluxe Maid. It was such a lovely birthday present to myself (not something I typically do, for the record). 1.) the online setup process is very simple and allows you to book a service within 48 hours - all communication with the company was very professional; 2.) spot on pricing compared to competition and 3.) So I finally caved and hired DeluxeMaid to come and help my home get a proper cleaning to help my house look great while I'm trying to sell it. I followed the advice here on Yelp and I'm glad I did. Forgive me, I forget the ladies name that came to clean my home, but she was very kind and did a great job. I honestly thought my toilets needed to be replaced due to the rust/corrosion inside the toilets. But she got almost all of it off! Additionally the bathtubs looked brand new they were so clean. It really made me realize how horrible I am at deep cleaning... Additionally, the communication was excellent. I really appreciated the quick response time! They send you an email and their main person texts you as well. The time you choose is the time they will arrive e.g. 9-10am NOT from (9 to 10) Cleaning day; Takisha was the maid sent my way. She arrived on time. Was very polite and professional. She brought all her cleaning supplies plus the vaccuum. I told her the extra details of the places I want cleaned well. She spent an hour to clean my bathroom and my God she did a great job! I had to leave in the middle of it, so I told her the way to lock the place before leaving. Results: she spent a total of 3 hours for my 1bed 1bath plus oven and fridge clean up ($30 extra each). The apartment was spotless, well dusted, vacuumed and organized. I was left pleasantly surprised! Tips/extra details: I suggest you somewhat declutter or get rid of extra stuff to make it easier for cleaners to go through your stuff. The payment is all online and you don't need to pay anything. You get discounts for getting recurring services like weekly, biweekly or monthly.
