My leaders couldn't be more complimentary of the service that they and their customers received from Mrs. Grandberry. I have hired many private car services over the past 25 years, but can't taut this experience enough. Her entire presentation was that of elegance, her vehicles were beautifully waxed, shined inside and out--simply immaculate! Apparently Sunday travel has its challenges with flight delays; however, she has facility for being a patient, accommodating, and a savvy business person who is proactive and plans ahead. Van was probably pretty nice when it was made in 1996. The full leather interior was badly worn, and the carpeted floor was quite dirty. The front windshield had a large ding from which 3 cracks radiated across the entirety of the glass. This was complimented by another footling crack just a nice eye level. My 2nd row seat was sort of loose/broken. Driver talked repeated on his hand held mobile phone ( but at least the calls seemed business related). Also typed a phone number in by hand while we were traveling about 70mph on a non-limited-access highway. Checked his calendar a little later when we were doing 77 up I-59. Passed a semi on the right hand side. If we had used Waze, we would have saved 15 minutes to avoid the construction Otherwise trip was uneventful, and the driver was very polite.

Mr Mathews is a retired welder on his second career. I learned of his service when Delta Airlines bumped my brother and his wife from a flight, and provided a voucher for Mathews Transportation to take them to a hotel in Columbus until the next morning. Mathews was at the hotel at 5am on time to get the family to their 6:30am flight. I've since used the service to take my mother from West Point to Tupelo for a medical appointment ($100 round trip including 3 hours waiting), and to get myself to the airport ($25 typically, though $30 for the early flight, price of course subject to change, call to confirm). The car is well marked, in excellent condition, with room for about 5 with lots of bags. Mathews tells me he'll also do pickups and drop offs in Birmingham (2.5 hours from GTR, cheaper airport) and Tuscaloosa (1.5 hours from GTR, Amtrak). Highest recommendation!
