First time staying here. It's probably the best hotel I have stayed out in Tupelo this far. You can bring your dogs, as long as he/she is under 75lbs. The hotel was very clean and did not smell like dogs either. There's a bar downstairs, we didn't check it out, we ended up going to dinner across the street, hit it was crowded. Our room was really clean, beds were super comfy. I would totally recommend staying here. It's also in a perfect location right off the interstate.

Beside clock includes wireless phone charging.

My co-workers and I stayed here for three nights while attending a conference across the street. We were very impressed with this property. Clean and fresh from the moment you enter the lobby. The restaurant off the lobby, Jobo's, was outstanding. To unwind, I highly recommend The Daisy! The rooms are spacious and very clean. Bathroom and coffee station amenities were nice. The king bed was very comfortable and had four really nice pillows. Overall, a very pleasant stay and plan to return again some time.

There's a bar in the center (sadly didn't get to enjoy it because I was here to take my MCAT). Everything was clean and it was very quiet. Your room has its own a/c unit which was perfect because I like it super cold and quick. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. And I liked the layout of the room. Plenty of places to sit/lounge. The desk was movable(on wheels) which was nice so it could go by the window to get work done. The view wasn't the best but I did like the fact that 1. I could see my car from my room since it was in the same side 2. It had shades as well as sheer shades as well so if you wanted to completely block out the sun you could. Or if you want the natural light with a little more privacy (like me) it suits either style. Also it's not far from eating places or Kroger's/Walmart/CVS/Walgreens which was nice and convenient. All in all, glad I chose to stay here. PS. If you wanna know how the breakfast is don't ask me. It was an extra 5.46 to add it to the stay and I didn't wanna chance it‍. But REALLY FOR THAT PRICE OF STAY WHY MY BREAKFAST AINT INCLUDED??

BED BUGS (A very high probability)--From our experience there were bed bugs in our bed and couch…read more Of course, the hotel would never confirm this. But I woke up with fresh bites every day before I realized it came from my hotel room. I found 3 drops of blood on the sheets, which is highly indicative of bed bugs. When the hotel investigated, they took pictures to send to the exterminator; and they moved us out to the room across the hall. The next night our former room (where I had been bitten) had someone staying in it. I asked the hotel to exterminate my new room with all of my things that had been exposed to bugs. They refused. I called Hilton Diamond Desk and was able to get my things exterminated. They, also, were able to get the hotel to shut down our former bug room, clean it, and quarantine it for a time. After a lot of back and forth, I was offered 50,000 points. This is unacceptable. I worked 4 days trying to make sure I didn't bring my possessions home with bed bugs. Hilton Corporate denied my claim for more points as the points come from the hotel, and the hotel refused the extra compensation. So here I am--50,000 points later and a bad bed bug experience hopefully behind me. But other guests should beware! Our exposure to Bed Bugs (?) was not handled satisfactorily and was a very bad experience for me. We stay in the Hilton Chain so this sort of experience would never occur. However, not even Hilton Corporate would or could make this right.

SENIORS, MILITARY & TRAVELERS BEWARE! Arrived at Candlewood…read moreSuites in Tupelo, Mississippi on 15 Nov 2024. The location was convenient and near the interstate. We didn't think much of it at the time but did notice some roofing company trucks parked together with several men gathered around in the rear parking area. The receptionist Kayla was very pleasant and the suite we stayed in was nice as well. We learned the laundry area had three washers & dryers which were free to use. This is when our problem began: When planned to do one load of laundry but the same roofing company workers, 4-5 young men were using all three washers and dryers. So we waited and about an hour only to find the same men there but now there were 6-8 men hanging around. My spouse and I are older seniors and I am a disabled veteran and was traveling thru without any means to really protect ourselves other than our dog who loves everybody. There was no security or protection and we noticed more of these men. We asked one of them if we could use one washer. We decided to sit in the already crowded laundry room and wait there. Finally one of them allowed us to use one washer. We started our one load of clothes but when we came back to check on it 15 minutes later we saw someone had unplugged the washing machine.. we asked them politely what the problem was. One guy said "no English" and thats when I let them know, in english, that we didn't want any problems and just wanted to finish our one load of clothes. One of the smaller men plugged the washer back in and we restarted the washer but were still being harassed. Two of these guys actually followed me down toward the hallway to the reception area. They followed me to the front desk and stopped to lean on the wall with their arms folded and starring at me. I spoke to Kayla at the desk. I told her what was occuring. The lobby was empty except for Kayla, myself and the two men. They continued to watch and wait there. At this point I felt quite intimidated and told her what was going on. Kayla then stated the hotel had experienced problems with the same group of men before and that the police had been called for disturbing the other hotel guests and problems with drugs and alcohol. She said she felt uncomfortable as well and seemed a little nervous. After hearing that I told her we weren't comfortable staying there any longer and let her know we were leaving immediately. I asked for my money back and we packed up to leave. It was late in the evening but I tried to place several phone calls from the safety of our vehicle. I spoke to one of their Hotel representatives and told him what was going on. He then transferred me to another lady representative and told her the same thing. I felt like I was wasting my time. I call the GM Porsha Fields number that was given to me at the desk. I left a message and never heard a word back. As we pulled out 4-6 guys began yelling at us in Spanish. We were definitely glad to leave this place. This hotel is completely unsafe. It is now December 10th 2024 AND NOW IT IS May 27 2025 and believe it or not we still haven't received one single callback or message from anyone from this hotel or the hotel chain. If I had the time I would have hired an attorney but we are just glad to be out of there. I'll never go back there and I hope that people that read this review understand this is absolutely an unsafe place and that this hotel and their chain don't care at all about their guests. Can you imagine nobody took the time or bothered to call or check on us? This place, the management and their company is a disgrace and they should be ashamed. If I could give a zero rating I definitely definitively would! See Yelp as well! Despite this incident happened 8 months ago and trying several times to contact them, we still haven't heard a word. As of July 9 2025 we still haven't heard a word!

Then, the bartender kept being very rude asking if my fruit was "perfect enough this time" and kept trying to get my attention in a very hostile manner. The bartender proceeded to mock me for taking a picture of my fruit bowl. Side note- the bartender looked like she was about 60 years old. The maturity level was absent. The Thursday morning breakfast crew were very unprofessional, unaccommodating, hostile, and belligerent. I would recommend learning better customer service skills.

My main focus for any hotel is cleanliness. The lobby looked liked it was maintained well enough but the outside building could be maintained better. Our room had black bug on the carpet. First thing I noticed but I would have actually let that slide if the bathroom wasnt so bad. It needs to be completly renovated. The porcelain is peeling and coming up in the corners and there was so much mold on the ceiling that I felt bad letting my kids shower in there. The front desk employee was nice and Im sure breakfast will be fine. The washers and dryers were also pretty inexpensive. What I care about the most is a clean or newly rennovated room though and it didnt happen here.

The only reason this hotel didn't get all 5 stars from me is because it's part interior, part exterior rooms, almost like the hotel side of things was an add-on. We were in an exterior facing room, meaning that all the smoke from folks standing right outside their doors could definitely creep in through the air conditioning and be detected. Otherwise, it was perfect!
