The owner was very accommodating and moved our site to a shaded location. We appreciated that. The site had rocking chairs and a picnic table and was very roomy. The restrooms were spotless and also had really nice extra touches such as an ironing board and iron, and a hairdryer and a dedicated area for putting makeup on. Weary travelers here found solace in Tupelo. Have never been to this part of MS and it is lovely! Very kind proprieter who gave us a lovely site and made us feel welcome. I've been showering all over the country and this shower is THE BEST one I've used in a long long time! Clean and the flow is well regulated and appreciated. Came into town on Sunday night and found this haven of sorts. On our way to Memphis, then Kansas City, but so relaxing and quiet that we decided to stay another night and day. I love the vicinty, near stores and restaurants, but far enough away to be in the quiet woods and near a brook and small running are for my travel weary dogs. Thank you! read more

We stayed there traveling through Mississippi. It was a great place to travel through to stay the night. We got up and the owners were very accommodating to take our payment later than usual. It was close to shops and grocery stores that were accommodating to our travel needs. It was very quiet and great for our stop traveling to the Gulfport campground that we were going to. This place is a total score. Super easy access from I-22. Easy hook-ups and all conveniences located very closely, including great restaurants, fuel and grocery. We highly recommend the Harvey,' which was a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful bar, and a wonderful dining experience for adults and kids, alike. The bathrooms, and showers were meticulous. This campground is very well maintained. The pads are rock with electricity, water, sewer and cable. The showers had just been refurbished and looked very nice. Because of a car malfunction we ended up staying three nights. At that time there was not a problem with extending our visit. It was an easy on/off the highway with conveniences located all around the area. read more

Driving in from Baton Rouge, we were VERY tired coming in. I was pleasantly surprised by how well kept this campground was. Lots of flowers and greenery all around. When I called about a reservation 8 weeks ago u was told when we got here we could just pick whatever spot we liked. Well, the owner informed us we were very wrong and that the person who helps us was only here for one day. I was not happy with that information but especially how he talked to us. Other than that he was friendly during the rest of the trip. They have a dog park and a nature trail. I did not use the bathhouse so no comment there. The trash was not picked up for two day- ANTS everywhere! Not trying to be negative here. My husband and I go to a lot of RV parks. This one was clean and well kept up. Barnes Crossing Campground is superior in every way. The management is always welcoming, the park is immaculate, there are trees and flowers in every spot imaginable. The place is a dream. The showers are clean and exactly what one wants. The hookups always work without issue. We always stay here on a stopover from family in Georgia returning to Kansas. It can't be beaten!! read more

Out of 20+ RV parks that I've stayed in over the past 6 months, this was by far my worst experience. I walked into the office a little after 9AM after driving from Oxford to Tupelo. Instead of "hi", "hello", or any other possibly greeting, the first words out of the manager's mouth were: "Check in is at 11". This isn't quite a hotel set-up, and there were visibly dozens of spots open, so I asked if we could check in now. He gruffly said yes, and then asked if I was a Good Sam club member. I presented my platinum card, which I guess he had never seen before and refuted that that was the correct card. The platinum road service good sam club card COMES WITH A MEMBERSHIP. But he wouldn't listen, didn't give me a discount, and then charged me the full rate. I pulled out my credit card, but (going with my good run that morning) they only take cash or check. So I had to drive to a gas station and be charged an extra $3.00 (along with the $3.00 that I would've saved with the Good Sam discount) at the ATM, for a total of a $6.00 swing. As for everything else, the campsites were severely uneven, they only had one bathroom and put us as far away as possible from them. The WiFi was slow as well. They also have Christian radio playing in the bathrooms all of the time, which is a little creepy. The showers were OK, although the bathroom stalls were tiny. When you sat down your knees touched the door, how is that possible? Overall, my worst experience at an RV park. read more

This is a great RV park. We were traveling through and arrived late. Our reservation packet was waiting for us as well as directions to our beautiful, well shaded and manicured pull through site. The whole park was very well maintained. The bathrooms were clean. If I am ever in the area, I would happily stay here again. read more

This RV park is a gem in the woods! The sites are super-huge and have been crafted to be on very level ground in tiers along the hillside. Reinforced barrier walls support the tiers and provide an fine backdrop to the site. The management is super friendly and you can tell they really care about the park and its guests. The office area is warm and inviting place to hang out and is decorated with all kinds of appropriate country stuff. There are decoration and bird feeders everywhere which naturally leads to lots of birds - which we totally enjoyed. At first glance, the roads network appeared a bit narrow and curvy, but there were no problems with my 37' 5th wheel and there are signs everywhere indicating which direction you should go when you desire to leave. This seems like a very popular park and is busy with lots of rigs coming and going. I would definitely return to this park if ever in the area again read more

I'd stay here again, but note, they only take cash or check. The price of $32 was decent as the grounds were very tidy. It's not a big campground, but the sites are large and most appeared to be pull thru. The sites are gravel and level and have sewer hook ups. The bath house was very clean including stalls and showers (the stalls were small, so if your BIG, good luck). Really close to town, including a mall with a Belk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We loaded up on supplies at Walmart before resuming our trip. Not far from the birthplace of Elvis Presley! We were just passing thru, so this was a wonderful overnight location. It's not a destination campground, so I wouldn't stay more than just an overnighter... read more

Very nice, quiet campground. We are heading home from New Orleans and just stayed one night. It was a nice surprise when we pulled in. We were given a nice spot in the back. The lots are gravel but very level. We did not use the bathhouse, so I can't comment on it. We arrived right at closing, but they didn't rush us so they could leave. They $32 included cable and the wifi was pretty fast for a campground. I would recommend this park unless you are looking for a pool or other activities. read more

Very pleasantly surprised! Such a beautiful campground! Lots of landscaping that gave it almost a National Park feel. There was even a little creek by a trail for dog walking, etc. Grounds were immaculate and check in process was very organized. Huge drive in bracelet sites. I agree with all the 4 & 5 star reviews. I made a mistake and reserved for the night after we were there. Even though they were technically full they worked & worked to find us a spot. We are so grateful that they were able to find us one as our choice was to see if the local Walmart allowed overnight camping or drive another 70 or 80 miles assuming the next campground actually had a site available. The only downside for some folks might be that they don't take credit cards but with their economical rate I can see why. Thanks guys! read more

We were looking for a place to stay for one night at the last minute on a holiday weekend. This place was booked and we were running out of options when they called me back to say they had a cancellation! They took great care of us and the place was clean and reasonably priced. The roads and sites in the campground are wide and easy to navigate. We wish more places were like this one. Great experience! Will return if we are in the area. Very cozy and quaint RV park, I wouldn't let the name fool you - it is not a "campground" and our 45 ft Alegro Bus fit with no problem even with our tow vehicle attached. It is in secluded spot with lots of pine trees, just beautiful. The people in the office were very friendly, so much so we stayed there twice on our way to and from the Tiffin Service Center/Tiffin Factory. It's a great place to stop for a night or for a week, there is nots to do and see nearby. read more

This place gets one star because I can't give zero. Let me tell you what happened. In April 2014 my grandmother died. I was listed as executrix of her will and had to go to court to carry out her will for her mentally retarded 73 year old daughter. My husband went home after the funeral & drove our RV down (Missouri). I came on my own in our car before my husband could get there. When I entered the office there were two men behind the desk. Neither one of them bothered to ask me if I needed help. I asked if there were any open spaces for a week (BTW there were dozens of empty spots). The middle aged man said "check in time isn't until 11" ( it was 10 am) I said that my husband was not far behind and he'd driven all the way from Missouri that he'd left at 3 am and I have court in the morning and we're very tired. He said "I don't want you here then. I don't want any trouble." I told him he could take his park and shove it up his ass. read more

Pretty, shaded campground that is very convenient to the Natchez Trace. There is a Kroger very close. The campground has laundry, showers and full hookups. The sites are gravel and vary in size and quality. read more

This is a beautiful campground with large shady sites. I would not suggest it for an overnighter, but if you're planning on staying a few days, it's very nice. The sites are unlevel, but once we got our coach leveled, we enjoyed our entire stay. The roads are paved; the sites are gravel. Each site has a picnic table. There are birdfeeders all around the campground. The people here are very friendly. The laundry room has only two washers ($1.50) and two dryers ($2). The entrance to the Natchez Trace is close. Walmart, a mall and grocery stores are just a few blocks away. read more
