The price does not automatically go up, they plan to raise the price but for the people who've had it the price would stay the same. Unreal! Came for an oil change $73 and then they "ran out " of the oil for my car and wanted to charge me more. Luckily they didn't drain it so I got a refund and left. Wasted forty minutes of my day! read more

I've been an unlimited member for over 10yrs. I love this car wash. They always do a great job. I was at the Crestwood location last Saturday. After getting my car washed, I decided to vacuum my car using the free vacuums available to all car wash customers. I just love this added bonus. Unfortunately, while vacuuming my car , I closed my car door and accidentally locked myself out. Luckily, two very helpful employees came to my rescue immediately (it was sunny, but cold outside) Erin and Dan N. brought some tools out and opened my car door within just a couple min. I appreciated their fast and courteous effort to get me back into my car. It was pretty cold out since I took my coat off while cleaning out my car. Thanks again Erin and Dan N!! I started going to Delta Sonic for just oil changes. I had a problem with the throttle on my car and I couldn't make it all the to my regular mechanic. Dave knew exactly what the problem was immediately. He's very professional, personable and knowledgeable. Then I went in for back brakes. The job was done in a timely manner and once again...Dave did a SUPERB job. The brakes were done perfectly. My car is running smooth once again. read more

This place needs to step up to what a car wash is! They say they will not clean the rims. It is simple brake dust that comes off when wiped of with a rag. Too much money for a half of a clean car. I always tip but this is going to stop till they do their part. read more

Took my truck for the interior steam clean. The mat was still dirty and the carpet not even wet. Waste of time and money!!! When I complained they said "they tried to clean it"....How is that possible when the carpet was completely dry?!?! Never again! Lesson learned. So I am not somebody who always leaves reviews unless somebody does an exceptional job. And I can say that a gentleman by the name of Elian at the Delta sonic (crestwood Illinois )went over and beyond when it came to detailing my jeep Cherokee it looks absolutely amazing and I made sure I awarded him with a nice tip. Sometimes these guys do not get anything but bad reviews or complaints I have absolutely no complaint and will be back there requesting him every time not only that but will also be referring him to anybody who goes there. Great job and thank you so much. Sidenote I got an exterior cleaning along with shampoo , Leather, and vinyl treatment. I've been a Delta Sonic car wash customer, at the Crestwood facility, for over 15 years. Service was good until they remodeled and ever since it's been going down. I'm not sure if it's an ownership or management problem, or both. But, as an example, I have the unlimited plan and had my vehicle washed two days ago and it hadn't rained, so only dust and bird dropping had accumulated. I went through the wash and it came out looking worse than it went in! When I mentioned to the drying attendant that the final rinse didn't come on, he got more towels and re-wiped the windows. I got home and found my truck with dried soap all over. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for a car wash, it'll no doubt be better than here. read more

Misses a lot, both in the lube & wash sides. Too busy attempting to push you out the door, to get the next one in, than pay attention to any details or request. A 30 min interior is 10 min & the 10, 5. An oil change done in 5 min with nothing checked. Had to pull out the manual to turn the light off myself, on top of the many other numerous missed items. read more

I went to the Delta Sonic for my oil change (which they always do a great job) and had asked if they could change my license plates as well. I had tried to get them changed several other times, but no one was able to get them off the car. When I asked at Delta Sonic, Dave and Joe took the extra time to work on them and we're able to get both front and back plates off and replaced with the new ones. It's such a headache getting in and out of this place because they have the worst set up. If you accidentally get in the fast lane, there's no way for you to turn around because everything is blocked off with cones. Also, as soon as the cashier finds out you're only getting a basic wash, forget any kind of customer service. They desperately try to up sell the over priced washes then get bitter when you deny. Horrible experiences every time. read more

I absolutely love this delta sonic. This is the only one I've been to that actually has the free vacuums after wash. The entire car wash staff are very nice and even though they were experiencing a technical problem with the car wash one time. Each employee was kind and helpful. The place is always PACKED, but they do their best to keep things moving smoothly, and to keep the place clean and operational.

Service usually fast. Workers always look very clean despite the fact they're washing cars. Staff very polite and professional.

The people who work in the garage are awesome! I've never had any issues and have always gotten in and out in good time. Recently I came to them with a problem another auto shop left me with. I needed them to remove something from my car and they did it with no hassle and no charge. They saved me a big headache and I am truly grateful! read more

I want to start out by saying that I have been a customer for several years and I will continue to be for a very long time and here is why. I am a customer both for the unlimited car wash and oil changes. I have had the pleasure of working with Don for many years for my oil changes and he has been nothing but kind and considerate. Don has gone out of his way to help me and at times even when I have been there for the wash which I come to with my dogs in the backseat, he has come and been so kind and nice to them as well, being a huge dog mom this means the world to me. I unfortunately lost one of my boys last year and when Don found out he was so kind and compassionate that it meant the world to me. His kindness is still appreciated and always will be, he is a wonderful man. The other day me being a customer of the Crestwood location was again solidified by Dave, another amazing employee. Let me tell you he went above and beyond the other day when I brought my truck in because I have been having an issue with it. He took an hour out of his day to extensively look into the issue, he was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. He has been a mechanic for I believe close to 30 years and his expertise and professionalism reflect that. He is an asset to the company and to me as a customer and anyone else who would patronize the Crestwood location. I have never had a bad experience anywhere or with anyone at the Crestwood location. I am thankful for both Don and Dave and every else who works there. The company is lucky to have you bot, and all the employees that work there. I appreciate you all and I thank you for everything over the years. I came here to get the interior of my car cleaned because I had dog hair all on my seats . They did a terrible job . Hair still on my seats, nothing was even remotely polished . Never coming back here again . Especially not for $17 . An employee named Sean was the only one who actually tried to put effort into cleaning my car . Everyone else was lazy . I've gone to a lot of different car washes and detail shops in my time but this Delta sonic in Cestwood Il. is the best of ALL... today through the expert guidance of the supervisor Larry M...( who really understood what I needed to fix the scratches) I had my vintage 1980 Black Porsche 911SC targa completely detailed... I had the finish buffed out and waxed....the car is black so it had a lot of swirl marks and scratches from over the years in it ... the detail person he assigned to this difficult job was Rodrigo Perez.... Rodrigo is AMAZING... the car looks like it did the day I bought it ...the swirl marks and scratches are gone and it looks like new...IT NOW HAS A MIRROR LIKE FINISH...Rodrigo is meticulous in his technique... This is the worst customer service I've had in a while. First I call their number and ask to be transferred to the lube department and the phone Hung up. I called back second time same thing they hung up. Third time I'm calling I ask for a manager then it was; we are having one of the girls walk over to their department. I'm place on hold for 2 mins then I hear someone talking in the background and click phone hangs up again. I refused to give them my business. What would have happen if I took my vehicle to them? The quality here is not at all what it used to be. Went through the car wash and paid for a 30 minute interior cleaning. There were only 2 other cars getting interior cleanings but yet and still I was sitting in my car for upwards of 5 minutes while I sat and watched as 3 workers stood around, laughed and chugged soda after soda and multiple bottle of water. Finally after they had quenched their thirst, they decided to come get me. Only for two of them to lean on my car and talk to the 1 person that was actually working. 20 minutes later they take me to my car claiming they're finished and it's still filthy! Plus I get in the car and they'd clearly been messing with my gps because I never used it but somehow it was programmed! This car wash is now clearly just a frat house that occasionally washes cars. Cancelling my monthly membership and taking my money elsewhere. read more

Horrible carwash! 35 bucks for inside and out. The inside gets a half ass vacuum that's it! Windows are filthy nothing inside the car is wiped down. The outside has streaks all over it. Everytime I go thinking it will get better. Nope my truck would look better if I did it drunk at a quarter wash. Dont bother calling the satisfaction number either. You will get a rude clown who barely speaks English and will hang up on you. read more

I have been an unlimited customer for years and mostly been happy with the service. Not too happy about prices continuously going up but the service is declining in quality. Attendants pretty much do a half-way job with drying your car and even cleaning the interior. I shouldn't have to tell you how clean I want the interior if it's listed in the package on your website. Clean it as if it was your car. Duh! I just cancelled my unlimited membership as of this month. I started out paying $12.99 per month. Then they decided to go up to $16.99 per month, and now we are at $19.99 per month. No thanks! Reg. Prices for exterior and interior now $29.99. Are you serious?! Get real! Purchased a Groupon for an exterior detail. Took over 3 hours and all I added was a carpet shampoo. Had to tell them to vacuum the back and shampoo the carpet, back window was not cleaned just horrible service never again. Manager was rude when I asked for a status. I go here all the time for car washes. They sent me coupons. I thought I'd try the oil change. They tried to sell me stuff I didn't need, I keep up with the maintenance on my car. What struck me was when they said both my windshield wipers needed replacing. I had just changed them a week before, they were perfect. Well the next time it rained they were garbage. I literally couldn't see through the windshield and it wasn't raining that hard. Go there for the car washes, but skip the oil change. read more

car detailing. my car came out extremely clean and I have a lot of dog hair dirt and mud not to mention candy stuck to my console. very satisfied with the work that was done as well as the price most details start their price and charge a lot more. I would have given them 5 stars but they told me 2-4 hours no big deal, I called after 3 because I was in the neighborhood and the guy said about another hour so I did my shopping and an hour and twenty minutes later I went to get my car. they said they were finishing it up it would be 10 minutes. ok so I just sent my friend and her car home since 10 minutes is not bad except it was another 20-25 so total it took 5 hours which wouldn't have been a problem had they told me it would be that long from the start so I could plan around it, instead of an extra hour it was two. but I will still be returning because the price was great my car looks great and the staff was nice, even though one girl was throwing her chips or what ever at another employee while she was working, she looked like a teenager so I just ignored her. do wish they would change where u check in and pay and such it is hard to hear when they have cars being done very loud read more

Worst service I've ever had! Had the 30min steam cleaning done and instead of removing the floor mats they just blew salt and dirt all over the inside. Not to mention half the windows and mirrors weren't even cleaned. This all took place 2/12/14. So $50 dollars for a car wash that I basically had to re-wipe down and clean when I got home. I have been a delta sonic customer for a very long time now... By the way I love the remodeling of the place. But that is not why I am submitting a review. Today I went to go get a wash like every Sunday. But when coming out the exit I was pulled to a different drying spot. After every time someone dries my car I get out to inspect it. Usually I have to point to spots that are obviously wet. But today everything was excellent. For the first time in many years! I usually never tip because I believe people that work for tips know the risks of not getting tipped. But I tipped the young man named Jose. I didn't recognize him and he said he was new. I told him how I never get my car dried well, and he said "I pretend like it's my own car" definitely put a smile on my face and I want everyone to "pretend like it's their own" because some people just really don't give a crap.
