Highly recommend this lounge if you have a credit card that offers this lounge as a perk. It is a smaller lounge in comparison to other delta lounges, but the hospitality and amenities are still the same. Plenty of options to sit and relax before your flight. There are many food, beverage, and snack options available. The staff is helpful and kind offering piece of mind before flying out to your next destination. It makes the travel experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I look forward to visiting this lounge the next time I am in New Orleans. read more

Everyone has said it SMALLEST LOUNGE THUS FAR However, best one I've been to with the BEST types of food. When I went they had a Mediterranean section, of course jambalaya and some AMAZING vegetable lentil soup WOW flavortown stopped here! Kale Cesar with all the fixings ( including chicken) and a snack, fruit and dessert section and of course a bar with a bartender. When we came I think I seen maybe 6 -7 other people in there already so it was pretty quiet HOWEVER, I thought I was in Iceland it was SO cold! We actually had to leave maybe 30-45 mins into our stay because I mean that AC was ok full blast. It was a pleasant experience overall. read more

Smaller than the previous club thanks to typical Louisiana bureaucracy and the unintelligent running the airport. The footprint is tiny. The seating is terrible the restrooms are cramped and overcrowded. I feel for the staff stuck here for decades as they have to deal with this really lackluster design and significant downgrade in quality of club space. You check in downstairs which is great, because most people trying to enter are turned away. No, first class buy ups don't gain you entry. No, your credit card doesn't include membership. No, your credit card doesn't include a guest. No, your entry level codeshare elite status doesn't grant you entry. So once you pass the initial tests you can take the lift or climb the stairs. They have podiums to speak with a delta travel specialist upstairs. They have a small food trough presentation where most guests don't have the common courtesy or basic food safety education in how to keep the area clean. In the right far corner is a beautiful bar. If your a soda drinker get in line and go to the bar as the guest self service soda machine still doesn't work. Above the food trough on the shelves they have cookbooks from famous local chefs and legendary restaurants. It'd be great if they could actually cook from these books, but everything appears to be the packaged quick service food that takes little to no prep before presentation. In the far left corner are the restrooms. Cramped, overcrowded, but at least they have touch less door controls on both sides. No airfield views from the windows. Just dingy terminal views. At least they have free slow WiFi and newspapers. It's not that the club is great, it's just that being with the rest of the customers in the terminal is such a miserable experience. When the restrooms were overcrowded in the club we left and went to the main terminal public ones. I wasn't about to stand there and wait. read more

Well done Delta with the new and improved sky club at MSY! I don't come home very often but always make a stop at the sky club on the way out. Now, compared to the old sky club at the old airport this was a dramatic upgrade. I've been in some small clubs and this one was definitely more spacious. Now, it's not the largest one but still very good. On check in you can take the elevator or the stairs up to the actual club. The bathrooms have no touch entrance (love it)! It has a long layout but not very wide. I was flying out in the morning so it wasn't super busy and there was plenty of room. The food bar had a fair amount of breakfast food, nothing that I could eat with my dietary restrictions, though. The bar is towards the end of the food bar. They had hot coffee and fresh fruit. But my question is, where did all the cubed cheese go???? I haven't seen any in a while, at any sky club. This makes me sad. read more

Tiny lounge but I don't care because as I walked in they were serving pre peeled shrimp and oysters!!! Never seen that before in any airline club let alone a little Delta lounge. Staff were super efficient and friendly. Honestly besides is the only thing to complain about and with all of the other food they had as well I'm not complaining. read more

Honestly I've had a range of experiences here, but it's the people that make it AMAZING. I'm a frequent traveler for business, family, and leisure... having hundreds of visits to dozens of sky club locations, I can say with certainty that people are correct about the side drawback. That said, it will be moving into the new terminal within a week or so and I imagine no one will be able to make that complaint anymore. Don't really see complaints about the staff there... no surprise considering the staff is amazing. Special shout outs to Rubin (sp?) behind the bar and the front desk crew (especially the kind gentleman who has been there for some time now). The manager was very friendly too, greeting my family and I as we came in. May not be the most stunning club, may not have the fancy art of others, but has a true unique vibe that is seaux New Orleans. It's truly the people and the care they put out. We stopped into this lounge while waiting on our flight to Atlanta. My DH and I were both flying Delta plus he has an AMEX gold card. He was able to get in free but could not bring in a guest so we paid for my entry. AMEX will reimburse entry fees IF you select that airlines. Changes can only be made in January. The lounge is in the new NOLA terminal C. It's small but very comfortable with ample seating. They had a light buffet for breakfast plus a full complimentary bar. There were recharging outlets everywhere which was nice. The ladies's bathroom had 3 stalls and an automatic door when leaving. When we arrived there were very few travelers but as the morning progressed the lounge became quite crowded. The only negative was the elevator was not working. Overall, this was a nice place to relax while waiting on a flight. I would definitely come back when traveling through New Orleans. read more

While an extremely small lounge, the Delta Sky Club at MSY provides just the same amount of amenities and service as any other mainline Delta Sky Club. The usual fare: cookies and crackers, some cold fresh snacks and soups, what appeared to be Cuban-style sliders, and of course, a small bar with the usual beverages, inclusive of the complimentary house alcohol. I imagine how packed this small space can get in busy times, but overall, it's a nice lounge and I will continue to come back when flying Delta thru New Orleans Intl (MSY). I'm excited to see what Delta Sky Club will bring to the new terminal when it opens - I'm sure they will have some exciting things in store when it opens in 2019. read more

The club here is quite smaller than the other locations I have visited. Stopped in on the first leg of my international journey. The service was great, friendly (typical of Louisiana), and the jambalaya was good, too! Small and cozy. This is definitely one of the older Delta Sky Club's that could probably use a face lift, but I was honestly surprised MSY had one at all, given it's small Delta presence! The staff was extremely gracious and all introduced themselves and kept thanking me for my loyalty to Delta. They also made calls to the customer service line on my behalf since their systems weren't allowing me to make last minute changes to my itinerary. The bar staff was creative and hooked me up with all the citrus my vodka soda could have asked for! read more

The staff is great and very friendly. The club needs updating. It is great that there is one here at all but relative to the others in the Delta network it is way behind. The food was disappointing which would be the easiest fix. New Orleans is known for such great food and the club should reflect that. If it can't have a New Orleans flair then it should be on par with other Delta clubs. Still it is way better than not having one at all. OK, my previous comments were based on breakfast and they just put out lunch. It is much better. They have gumbo, Cajun chicken salad and muffulettas so there is the New Orleans influence. Awww...y'all are harsh! This little club isn't so bad. It's small and can get crowded but I'm sort of amazed that MSY even has a club at all given the limited scale of its operations. It has all the standard food of a SkyClub and I appreciate the slightly dated style. It feels classic and warm unlike the newer clubs which are aggressively modern (and will all feel terribly dated in 10 years). The staff here are super sweet and friendly. The customer service in this lounge is good. The people that work at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. If I had a few observations, they would be that this location is small and dated and does not provide diverse menu options compared to the other Delta Sky Clubs I've frequented around the country. Anyone that is a member of DSC knows what I mean when I say their menus are already very standard. For this club to only have a small fraction of the regular menu says a lot. I know the size of the club is probably based on the number of passengers they have that come through and utilize the club, but they could refresh it for the regulars and those just stopping through and provide a larger variety of food options to their guests. read more

Its not fancy but the souktern hospitality is missing from this place. wanted to get a coke and the bartender was out checking on the snacks and made me feel like it was an annoyance to get me a drink. However, everything was really clean and they had great varieties in terms of drinks such as almond milk for those who are lactose intolerant or sensitive. The staff here are really pleasant as well. In my opinion, this is really one of the better Sky Clubs in the Delta system. At first glance it is small, perhaps a bit congested and certainly no frills from the standpoint that it does not have expansive bathrooms, showers, or swanky features like an observation deck. But what it does have that I truly appreciate are some seriously friendly employees working in it. Everyone, from the person greeting and checking you at the door to the bartender to the people cleaning up after me exude genuine courtesy and charm. They make me feel like they are happy to welcome me and can't wait to get me a beverage, take my empty glass, or get me an answer to a question I might have. I have also noticed that worldwide, Delta Sky Clubs have really stepped up their game in terms of food and beverage offerings and that is very much appreciated by me as sometimes what they have in the lounge is going to have to be my meal. This club seems to always go one up in that it has the standard Sky Club offerings but also always has something regionally special as if they are trying to brag a bit about NOLA at what it has to offer. One time I was in there and they were making Sazeracs and handing them out for free. Today, there was a steaming pot of Jambalaya that was full of chicken and sausage. That was one of the best "soups" in a Delta Sky Club I've ever had. And while the regionally special food and beverage is really great, what I appreciate most is the friendly attitude of their staff every time I have come through. I'm typically not bothered by much but this was a push...Terrible hospitality, rude people. Family member is a exec and they denied entrance and had to pay $59 per person to get in. This sky club is a joke. 100% crude and mean staff, especially the front desk ladies. They have no competence for understanding and it's frustrating to be a exec and have to PAY to get into something I'm already paying for. Delta has forever changed in my eyes after this "quality" service. Terminal service is far better than this sky club will ever be. P.S. the food was mediocre at best read more
