I wish I could give this place more stars! Passing through on the way home from the Buck and were all very hungry. Get there and the kitchen had just closed. The hostess checked and the owner Sal offered to make a pizza which is what we were in the mood for anyway. She also suggested a cold sub since they make their own bread. Sal was a great host and the food was awesome. Can't believe we lived down in Churchville 22 years and never heard about it, a bit farther drive now but worth a trek up there from time to time. read more

Asked for pizza extra, extra well done. It was not. Asked for well done fries. They were not. Again we were disappointed. I keep trying.

We like Delta Pizza. However, I feel compelled to let everyone know that they do not honor pricing that is printed on their menu. When receiving our check to pay the tab, we noticed a price discrepancy of about 10% for our lunch. When we questioned the prices, we were told that they have been increased but the menus will be updated in a couple of weeks. Really? Realizing it is a local business that caters to a small community, we did not complain.....much. It would have not been an issue with me if the menus had a note stating the price difference. I tipped 15% instead of 20% and split the difference with our server. read more

really like the pizza and grinders. my husband likes the Max pizza grinders but these are even a bit better. i think the pizza is better than Max's too. the crust has a nice buttery flavor while the Max pizza crust was blah. hope folks give it a chance so we have a great little local place to get good sandwiches. read more

WOW!!! what can I say. This place is great. We stopped in around lunchtime on a Saturday to somewhere new and now we are thinking this is the place to be. We ordered the sampler appetizer which is piled high with wings, breaded mushrooms, onion rings and mozzerella sticks and FIVE different dipping sauces. The pizza came out hot and fresh, half pepperoni and half cheese. The crust was perfect just crispy enough and just chewy enough. The service was great the server was attentive without being at the table bothering us. We will definitely be coming back, it's worth the 30 minute drive for good service and great food. read more

Delta Pizza is famous in the area for not only their food but also their entertainment and contributions to the local community. As far as the food, Delta Pizza has authentic Italian cuisine that does not disappoint. I recommend the manicotti and they are also famous for their pizza. At Halloween, the owner, Sal, stands outside and hands out slices of pizza to trick or treaters! Their subs, sandwiches, appetizers and salads are varied and all very good. We've had good experiences both dining in and having food delivered. Sal goes out of his way to bring talent to Delta an you can find everything from bands, professional pool players and wrestlers visiting DP on a Saturday night. For a small town there is a wide variety of talent that he showcases and it makes for an interesting and fun time. The shop itself has many amenities. A bar in the back and carry-out in the front makes it very convenient for customers. A basement can also be reserved for private parties which kids tend to enjoy on snowy days when schools are closed. You'll often find teens hanging out playing pool when there isn't a party going on. Sal gives a lot back to the community and never turns away anyone who is hungry and can not afford a meal. He is famous in Delta for his compassion and giving nature and he will welcome you with open arms into his establishment whether you are a local or just passing through town. read more

Stopped by this local pizza shop/bar for a quick bite and a beer. As my job requires me to travel I always seek out the local places for the affordable food and drinks. I must say, for a place that the paint is chipped off the wall, floor tiles that don't match the prices are outrageous! $8 for a draft IPA and I'm not talking about a 11% custom crafted IPA, for a run of the mill crap IPA. After the first extremely overpriced draft I switched to Jack & Coke and to my surprise it was just as overpriced as the crap IPA. Who charges $8.25 for a Jack & Coke in a plastic cup? I'm not sure who the owner is but I searched out the Facebook page and found post from what appears to be the owner about not being greedy and not over charging for their food. I'm not sure where he lives but these prices are what I would expect to pay in New York not Delta. read more

Absolutely love the job Sal did remodeling after the tragic fire. As a firefighter, I was absolutely devastated that night. I know Sal and how much Delta Pizza meant to him and his family. I was so glad he re-built after the fire!! They have FANTASTIC food!!! The staff, like Sal, will bend over backwards to please their customers. The menu has expanded since the fire, and everything inside has special meaning to Sal (the owner) from the fire. I almost always get either the pizza or their cheesesteak. Always excellent with homemade breads. Quality products are used. The atmosphere is great. Locals who chat about whatever. Everyone is friendly too. The pool tables in the basement seem to be taking off. They have trivia nights, football games on the TVs, and live music from time to time. I highly recommend eating here. This is a cute little restuarant in the quaint town of Delta, across from Half Priced Hardware. The food was amazing, they bake bread daily and it is delicious! The family and I stopped into this place because, I was starving and in dire need of pizza! We are not from this town and did not know the pizza was going to be. We ordered the special which was two large pizzas with one topping for $15. When our waitress brought our pizza to the table I was seriously surprised about how large it really was. There were seven of us in our party and we all have quiet healthy appetites and we were not able to finish all the pizza! What a deal! The pizza was hot, saucy and the cheese was nice and gooey; all the good things you want in a pizza. The sauce was nice and garlicky too! Yum! My sister ordered the antipasto salad and it came in the huge bowl. It was enough for two people. As hard as she tried she could not finish it. The deal breaker was the fact that they did not have a soda fountain so, if you wanted a soda you had to get one out of the cooler. Not only were they out of water but, they were all out of any soda without caffeine and they didn't have anything diet at all. I ended up with tap water which you might want to skip! Called to place an order for the delivery and both the girl answering the phone and the woman "manager" on duty at the time were beyond rude. Before hanging up on me (after talking about me with the manager while the phone line was live) when I questioned an $8 up-charge to change from unwanted French fries to onion rings with my order. Instead it politely handling the situation, they choose to hang up on me and loose my order. All I can ask is WTF? Worst experience ever. We went when a band was playing. Stood for ten minutes waiting for someone to notice us . Then ordered our food and a drink. I was told there was no more kuhlua. Went back to the bar and they had two bottles . Chris the bartender is rude and made my drink without kahlua . Just vodka and curdled milk. This is the second experience with Chris . I was surprised to see there were no reviews after the reopening. Delta Pizza (DP) is finally back! The place looks great, a lot of love went into restoration. They offer an extra large party pizza that is perfect for parties, we ordered two last night for a party with other food and it was all wonderful. While the food and service is great at Delta Pizza, the atmosphere is less than satisfying. The jukebox in the dining area is MUCH too loud. We had to move out to the back deck to finish our meal because between the jukebox turned up to max volume and the group of 30 Boy Scouts trying to talk over the music THEY TURNED ON, we couldn't hear each other talk. It's nice to have outside seating, but the town of Delta is so trashy and disgusting... If there was a volume limit on the jukebox until a certain time (say after the dinner rush is gone?), it would have been more enjoyable.
