I had planned on paying with a debit card, as I was going to be reimbursed through my company's wellness stipend. Not only did I have to pay in cash, they wouldn't give me a receipt. I'm 46 and this was my first professional massage. Delta is on the sign out front but it's now part of A Great Massage. AGM has a great reputation from people I know and it always comes with a chuckle as in, "You want a real massage....go to AGM!" I went to the Poplar location because of convenience. Be prepared to have communication issues at least this one. My therapist knew zero English but she was friendly, understanding, and an absolute pro. I thought I was going to only get a shoulder massage to get rid of some pain. I was totally WRONG! I went for the deep tissue massage and it was very involved. My pain is relieved but be prepared for an hour of serious work on your body. I thought during the entire time that I was about to get scammed and have to pay $150 or something for being unable to communicate very well, but it's just as advertised. $55! And please leave a good tip! She didn't ask for it but you'll go elsewhere and pay well over $100. read more

I have such level of consistency here. I have had a chair massage, a table massage, and a foot massage. My last visit, which was supposed to be a chair massage, also turned into a foot massage. I was so relaxed my thought was let's keep this party going! My foot massage was so relaxing that it put me to sleep. As far as I was concerned, they could have let me sleep in the chair! Not happy at all. Called ahead for opening and they said come on in they had an opening. Got there and no one was there? Called number again and then they said the lady was 15 minutes away?? No one showed up...called again....said they were down stairs...waited 15 more minutes(total of 45 minutes) and I left. Not a good first impression at all. Totally non -professional. I had a bad experience at Delta Massage recently. The lady giving the massage did not speak enough English to understand my answers to her questions. When she asked if it was OK, I told her she was hurting me, (twice), and yet she continued. (Walking and jabbing her sharp knees on my back) When I went to pay, I decided upon a tip to place on my credit card. When the lady saw my tip, she began to yell at me in Chinese, another lady came up and said that I must tip 20%. (I thought I got to determine that?) After her embarrassing me in front of some other people waiting, I decided just to give her $20 in cash and leave. Since she felt I was a cheapskate, take almost 40% tip, but I would not be back. When I made it home, I saw where they also added the other tip to my credit card as well. I have been there several times and this was not my first bad experiences.
