They have been late several times and have repeatedly said a delivery would arrive on a specific day, only to not show up. This is especially inconvenient since someone must be home to sign. Just this week, my medication was supposed to be delivered on Monday. By Wednesday it still hadn't arrived, so I called and was told it wasn't in stock. I asked why no one had contacted me to let me know, and the response was simply "I don't know." Due to the lack of communication and unreliable service, I would not recommend them. read more

If you ever get sent to this pharmacy through a provider - fight to change things immediately. I had multiple medications prescribed to me from a neurologist, and sent here. The neurologist knew I reside in Long Beach, he knew my local pharmacy. He chose to send them to Delta Drugs in Glendale. Delta Drugs fills, and delivers medications. They had a hold of my seizure meds and supplements. I had to babysit THEM for my medications. I had to call them every 2-3 weeks to remind them to send my meds. Even though I hounded them to refill and deliver my medications, they still failed, and forced me to cold-turkey one of my seizure meds (briviact). They had a heads up how many days I had left of the medication. They decided to ship a controlled substance through USPS instead of sending it through their drivers - during the holidays. It was supposed to arrive Friday morning - it didn't arrive. Tuesday we called checking for a status update and it was received by USPS. They had to cancel the shipment so I could receive my meds ASAP. I begged for my medication. My SO had to step in as I clung to my own sanity while fearing for my life as a result of cold-turkeying a medication that alters my brain chemistry. They FINALLY emergency sent it to my local CVS, and later finally released all of my meds to them, despite me begging for it to be done from the start. A patient should NEVER have to babysit a pharmacy. A patient also should never have to remind a pharmacy when their dosage has changed due to the doctor altering it. They messed up once, forcing us to drive to Glendale and picking it up. Then this debacle. They are wholly unreliable, and will harm someone if they aren't babysat religiously. =/ Something needs to be changed. I suffered a seizure as a result of a combination of the stress from everything, and lack of medication. I'm fortunate to be here today. read more

Absolutely horrible service. We have had a 90-day prescription for a specialty drug on automatic shipment for the past three years without a problem, until recently. They didn't ship the current supply, and we didn't realize it until we had only about a week of pills left. Called them several times a day for the past four days, all without anyone answering the phone nor returning a call when a message was left. Finally gave up and luckily got an emergency shipment from another pharmacy. read more

First of all, I couldn't reach them for over a month, they didn't fill prescriptions. The office that sent them my prescriptions couldn't reach them either. Then they wouldn't send them. Then, when they did, they stated someone would be in my area to drop off, but then sent USPS instead. That caused further delay. I tried to get a consultation, they wouldn't talk to me about it, acted confused when I asked for paperwork for the drug interactions, and then mailed me the most generic paper about drugs being taken as possible, literally typed out the drug and the way it is used, taken, and dosage. When I asked for interactions, they didn't give me anything but "grapefruit". when I tried to transfer, they wouldn't send. They were irritable when it was initiated and they appear to use some sort of system that "may record calls" which no one has ever told me. State of California requires that, particularly because when it "may be recorded" it almost certainly is. Often with VOIP as an inexpensive phone system. They are supposed to lead with that. Regardless, they are terrible as far as pharmacies go. I realize there are many pharmacies with many issues, but this one was a major thorn in my side. read more

This drug store whole sale is one of the best, there are a lot of awesome people working, Ani has the best costumer service; taking care of patients prescriptions and refills, Mike is the kindest pharmaculagist I've ever met, he takes care of the patient's needs as his closest friends. Completely unreliable pharmacy. The service is horrific and it takes them 7-10 days to fulfill your prescription. They lie about expected delivery dates. I have a thyroid disease and last month I was several days without my medication after ordering ~7 days before I was out. This month my prescription is apparently lost with USPS. I called today to figure out what's going on. I was blown off and told I'd receive a phone call in an hour. No one tried calling me back. Highly recommend finding another pharmacy. I am a single mom of two daughters, one who is severely disabled and medically fragile. Delta Drug is inconsistent, irresponsible, and have no conscience when dealing with our grandsons formula. Every 6 months his prescription needs to be renewed. This takes them at least 2 months to complete. They do not ship formula during this time leaving my grandson close to running out. They do not stay on top of paperwork, they make requests at the last minute. They do mot communicate with us about what is going on. It has been a nightmare for 6 years. read more

I use Delta Pharmacy to get my 2 year old daughters "special milk " (she has food allergies /on a prescription only formula) . I think they are very good . The formula always gets delivered the day of (when I call in her refill) or the next day . Considering that they're in LA and deliver specialty medical supplies to half of California , next day service is very good , what else can be expected . And for people griping about having to call in their refill , you have to do that monthly at commercial pharmacies as well . I have never had a problem getting anyone on the phone at delta either , although the beginning is a bit of a phone game between all 3 of you (customer, pharmacy & insurance) once the authorization goes through , all you need to do is call in monthly , to have your prescription refilled/reshipped .
