When I shared this with Chun Kit Chan while I was still in terrible pain, he told me it was "all in my head" and recommended that I only need Tylenol. The next day, I ended up in the ER needing emergency gallbladder removal. The ER doctor said this should have been addressed much earlier. After surgery, when I could barely walk, I needed a referral for a GI specialist. His staff member, Susan, insisted I come into the office even though my insurance confirmed it wasn't required. The doctor even said it was "not a big deal" to lose a gallbladder. Two months later, I was hospitalized again due to leftover gallstones. The hospital told me they contacted Chun Kit's office for a referral, but his staff claimed I hadn't been seen in over a year, which was completely untrue. In my experience, this doctor delayed my care, dismissed my symptoms, and contributed to unnecessary complications.

Most patients here are in and out within 15mins due to their rather simple issues of with a cough, cold, or bruise/ache. Clientele leans older not younger but no matter. The front office staff of 3 long-time pro admins are superb always billing correctly and efficiently handling any question from insurance details (incredibly omplex stuff) to payments to scheduling all. The efficiency and speed of everything here with respectful professionalism and Dr. Chan's affable personable self make me return year on year. Hopefully, I won't have to return in between physicals.

I was beyond frustrated, desperate, and so depressed all I could do was cry the first time I met Dr. Iyengar. He patiently put me at ease by asking questions about my pain, my life, and my family being sincerely interested in me as an individual. I owe my life to Dr. Iyengar. He has guided me through extremely aggressive courses of Chemotherapy, 16 rounds of Radiation, a DVT, Sepsis -- twice -- along with a myriad of ailments throughout the years. Dr. Iyengar has always sought the best treatments available, as-well-as providers of those treatments. His delicate management of my pain medication has enabled me to have a much higher quality of life than otherwise possible. Unfortunately he has had to repeatedly fight with my insurance company to advocate my treatment which is beyond stressful and unhealthy in itself. An entire generation of baby boomers should not have to fight so hard to stay out of pain. Dedicated physicians should not have to spend countless hours defending their treatment plans to inferiorly educated insurance company employees who must follow rules designed to make money for their company -- not caring about the pain and anguish of the very people who pay hundreds of dollars a month for coverage.

He genuinely cares about his patients. I was probably a lot younger than the people he saw all day but he still took the time with me and treated me really well, and was always willing to work with me on medications as respiratory issues can be very expensive.
