I was told (and saw on the reviews) that the food was not up to par, but I wasn't that let down by the food either. Sure it wasn't spectacular, but I thought it was passable. The food was a basic Christmas meal. Soup Appetizer, Turkey, Ham, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and also Mac and Cheese. I thought the Turkey, Green Beans and Potatoes were the best part. The hour and 15 minute show started with a bang with a floating violinist and closed with a live Nativity. Singers and Dancers were all very talented. My favorite part (or song) was the 12 Days of Christmas mash up. That was really clever. Maybe, if I did have a let down it would be the price of the drinks... that was pretty outrageous. A specialty drink and an old fashion was about $50. And my wife's drink wasn't even very good. But she got to keep the plastic boot glass it came it! (Eye Roll) I highly recommend this show. Really brought the Christmas spirit! Well worth the price and a fun Holliday treat. Skip the drinks, but enjoy the show!

The Turkey was dry, the gravy salty, the ham was not recognizable as ham (both in color and flavor), and though the Mac and cheese was the best of the options, it was so gummy it stuck to the roofs of our mouths like a communion wafer! It was awful. The good thing, it was served warm. For dessert we could pick pie or brownie. We got the brownie and didn't finish it. It was like dead weight, almost like they forgot an ingredient. We also did try 2 of their specialty drinks. They did taste good. The price however at $17/hr was not worth it. Almost $40 for 2 drinks! Nothing about this experience was "Merry"!

Daylene's still was being built when we were researching so we came upon this place. Reviews good, ambiance looked great so we made a reservation months in advance for 7/4/26. I had called the establishment in advance and spoke to the manager because I wanted to surprise hubby and pay for the bill. Last year, our anniversary ended on a bad note because I got sick in Miami and had to go to the hospital. We get there and are seated. It was a full house! It was loud in there and mostly everyone there was dressed casual except us. We were dressed up in a cocktail dress and suit because it was our anniversary. Lucky was our server and he was attentive and nice. We started out with drinks. I had the strawberry shortcake which I was excited about but ended up being disappointed - the majority of the drink was whipped cream. The liqueur used didn't make it seem like a fresh strawberry taste, tasted fake - for $17 it should of been better. I then ordered the clam chowder. They have two sizes $6 and $10. I was not asked which size I wanted and when they brought it out, it was this big bowl which I find out later was the $10 size (I should of been asked which size, not cool)! I had to send it back because it wasn't hot. I took most of it home, it was good especially heating it up the next day, the flavors really settled in. The food was brought out quickly - even before the clam chowder was brought back. I had the twin lobster tails (market price, $76) and hubby had the ribeye steak ($59) with the mushrooms and onions which is an $5 upcharge but that wasn't explained to him when ordering. My side was the garlic mashed potatoes and his was the creamed spinach. One of the lobster tails was too salty - they put way too much seasoning on the top of the tails. The other lobster tail was better. The potatoes were meh. I'm not really a creamed spinach fan but theirs was really good - the cream sauce was very flavorful. Hubby enjoyed his steak and had enough to take home. They brought out a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. It looked nice. We didn't enjoy the dessert but they acknowledged our anniversary so we were appreciative of that. When it was time for the bill, Lucky just laid it in my lap with no explanation. Hubby was confused. That wasn't the agreement I had with the manager. The bill was supposed to be put on the table and us being told that the bill has been taken care of. So I had to explain to hubby what was going on. A bit disappointing. Lucky told us a fireworks show was behind the restaurant so we stayed to enjoy that. I wouldn't recommend this to couples who want to get dressed up for a night out. First off there was literally two tables filled in the whole restaurant and it said sit yourself so we did, in the hall of fame part, well the room closest to the bar but still in that little doorway . We were the only ones in that part but they saw us come in, made eye contact but never said hi how're y'all or Anything. So I let it slide. After I want to say 15 minutes of sitting down with nobody coming to the table, I personally had to go up to the bar And tell the lady , we needed to get our drinks ordered. She then said okay I will be over in a second. She came to take our order yet no menus, so we had to wait for that as well. After we got a alcoholic beverage and a coke with lemon, and water with lemon, she comes back with drinks , no lemon. At that point we said forget it. Then after 20 minutes of her not coming back, I had to go up AGAIN just to find out she was sitting there talking to her coworker . I said uhm we've been ready to order and you haven't came back and she used the excuse she was waiting for bar orders which doesn't make much sense because while you were talking and waiting, you could've gotten our orders in. We order and I ordered the beef brisket or whatever it was and she asked if I wanted the glaze and the BBQ and I was like well if I can I'll do the glaze on the side and she said ok that will work. Then the other two in my party ordered burgers. Waited about 25/30 minutes for food. When she came with the food she finally introduced herself as Kristen. Now the brisket was amazing hands down. However, one of the burgers were made medium rare and also the egg was runny. Then I thought about it. KRISTEN NEVER ASKED HOW SHE WANTED HER EGG OR BURGER. Careless mistake. I wouldn't have been mad if that was all but also on this sandwich, they forgot the tomato and lettuce and the sauce that goes on it. Come to find out they put the sauce in between the two patties and it's a very small amount so you couldn't even taste it . The other burger was also wrong because they didn't put cheese or the right bun on it. Very disappointed for the price of the food y'all charge. Portions and quality is unacceptable. Service is ridiculous. Customers please be aware. You'll probably have to sit at the bar just for good service because that's were the attention was since that's where they stayed posted. You guys need to do more than just "relay the message to staff" you need to fix the broken service. Also she didn't check on the table the whole time after that and I had to go up there again for the check. Took so long to come get it, I payed thru the dumb QR code and left. It seems like all the bad reviews, the owner is trying to justify the fact that the staff can't do their job. That's not something you do, you have to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. Take action. Make this restaurant better. Not a good first impression for someone visiting the state, won't be back, even if I was in state. This experience was three years ago * hope they've improved.
