Always enjoying great Italian food here, we had Prawn Salad, Calamari, Four Cheese pizza and of course, Steak which I highly recommend. Excellent service by their attentive staff. Four Cheese Pizza-One of the best options for their pizza. The dough is much better now.

I applaud 759 for venturing into different lines of business and hence the 4-star rating…read more Food was good. I had the beef brisket and wonton, nothing too adventurous or exciting. The shop was close to home but not something I would travel all the way to Cheung Sha Wan about. The lines were long but they have calmed down a lot now. Most of the products/condiments used are also sold at the 759 stores. Talk about product placement! What a great vertical marketing strategy. At least I know what brand of sesame oil I am eating and where I can buy them!

Cheung Sha Wan is one of my favorite districts in Kowloon, not only because that is where I stay…read morewhen I return to Hong Kong, but as a district with an extremely high variation of different eateries that you can never get sick of. Located on the corner of Cheung Sha Wan and Tonkin, this 759 isn't a store, it's an eatery. While you can get a similar bowl of wonton noodles or beef brisket noodles for less money elsewhere in Cheung Sha Wan and Sham Shui Po, 759 is clean and straightforwardly efficient. I'm a sucker for beef offal and it is decent here. The beef brisket noodle soup has brisket that does not taste like your normal Hong Kong style beef brisket. Difficult for me to explain and it doesn't taste bad, just don't expect it to taste traditional. Drinks wise, I highly suggest trying their in house Sprite mixed drink. It's especially tasty on a hot day. Service is fast. You sit down, order, and within minutes, you'll get your food. Paying is the same as other places: on your way out.

Looking for an affordable Japanese restaurant that serves a large variety of food? Watami has all…read morethe answers - but perhaps not the very best answers. The quality of food at Watami is average at best, but it does have one of the largest menus I've ever seen at a Japanese restaurant. A meal at Watami is cheap. Expect not to spend more than $90 and still be able to have a drink and some snacks to share. This makes Watami a great place to come with friends if you're craving Japanese - food is inexpensive and there's lots to try. One thing that's not bad here is the beef stone pot rice. If you've ever had the beef rice at Pepper Lunch, this is kind of what it's like, except the portion is much bigger. I've also ordered some sushi here - just good ole salmon sushi, which is alright. That being said, I've had my fair share of disappointments at Watami. On one occasion, my friend noticed that there were bits of grime on her dish. When she waved the waiter over, he took one look at the dish and just took it away to get a new one, as if dirty dishes here are the norm. Another time, my friend waited over half an hour for her salmon with salmon roe rice. We asked the waiters to check up on it at least three times, each time being told it was on its way. My other friend and I, both slow eaters, were done with our food by the time her rice finally came! Even though Watami isn't expensive, I wouldn't say that you get what you pay for, because I've been to places that are just as affordable or cheaper, but serve higher quality food and have better service. I still eat at Watami with friends sometimes, but out of sheer convenience more than anything else.
