I'm usually the only foreigner except if people are with me. I always get the the Curry Brisket and both naans. I also ordered Shrimp Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Tom Kha, and some veggies. And for dessert Mango bad Black Sticky Rice! But the food here is on point. I will continue to come back time and time again.

Since we don't usually go so far away to have dinner I was very excited to come because it means it must be very good for it to be worth the distance! I was not disappointed at all! Compared with sawali club it is a little less authentic in my humble opinion. This restaurant might be a little bit more on the fusion side. It served crab bread bowls. That doesn't mean it was less tasty though. For seating and ambiance I definitely prefer this place vs. sawali club. It has outdoor seating and the view of the outskirts of Hong Kong. One downside was that a lot of stuff was sold out. Good for their business but bad for my hungry tummy!! We ordered the tong yum Kung soup. Very good!! Curry crab was excellent!!!! A little on the sweet side but amazing!! Definitely order. Dip your bread in the sauce or mix your rice in it! Soooooo good! (Bad idea to write this review in middle of the night) Half of a roasted pig. The skin was perfect. The meat was tender. This dish was my favourite because I think it was absolutely perfect. Garlic vegetables "tong choi". Super yummy a little bit salty though. Crab bread bowl. This was amazing. Comes piping hot. They cut it in front of you. Decent sized crab meat inside. Can't really beat this meal. Prob best meal I've had with my family in awhile! 5 big stars

I really do not understand how I got so outdoorsy these days. I could not believe I just went to…read moreTai Mei Tuk. It was one sunny morning and a couple of friends and I decided to go cycling around Tai Po and after of sweats under the burning sun, we reached our destination and decided to go have some food as a reward for a hardworking morning. There were not that many options there but we saw one place called Thai Thai Kitchen and it has got all those pictures with celebrities going there, we thought it should be of decent quality. So we went there. It was rather quiet there and not many diners nor travelers so we easily became the loudest group there. There was quite an array of food to choose from. More or less food that were somewhat spicy so I expected the worst (my friends loved this but certainly not me) to make it worse, my friends ordered Tom Yum (seriously who ordered that knowing I could not handle that at all?) So for those who had not tried that before, Tom yum is a spicy and sour soup in Thai style. The main ingredients for the broth include lemongrass, lime leaves, lime juice, fish sauce, and lots and lots and lots and lots of chili peppers. We also ordered quite a few more but to me, that tom yum was the best (surprised? Yes, me too!) I was rather reluctant to try at first as I remember last time I tried I could not speak for a while as it completely burnt my throat. However, due to peer pressure, I had a spoonful and to my surprise, I liked it. Of course it was spicy but it was not overly spiced and I could also taste the fresh ingredient there. All in all, I would come here again for some authentic thai food if I for some reason, agree to go cycling again.

Decided to have an early dinner as when I pass by, there was relatively a very short wait. Service was average and the food was not good. Don't want to go into too much details but in short, this place is an insult to Thai Cuisine. With a name "So Thai so good", I was expecting authentic Thai food. My overall comment is that it was "Not so Thai, Not so good"
