I also wasn't feeling like sitting down to eat in a restaurant. This place ended up being a fantastic find. I ordered the beef with garlic sauce, since it was one of the items listed as being spicy for beef. As soon as I ordered, I left to pick up the order and when I arrived, it was already ready. They even offered to give me a plate for my food, which is very rare, and very helpful because I was bringing it back to my hotel room. The food was pretty good, however, not very spicy, but I probably should've said extra spicy or asked for some hot sauce. The portions of meat were very generous, which was another surprise. The prices were very reasonable considering what has happened in the last 2 years. I would definitely come back here in the future. The only downside was that there was no way to directly order from them on the internet, so I had to call.

The only downside is that they don't serve hard liquor, but they do offer beer, sake, and tea. Their homemade chili oil is absolutely on point and adds the perfect kick to just about everything. I used to be able to order through the website but that stopped working recently so I use the app instead which I don't mind since it's actually more convenient. Because this is near where I work, I prefer to put my order out quickly then get back to work before heading out during my lunch period so I don't waste any time in between. So far, this has always worked for me with MOGU. The food is always finished before the estimated time and it's always as good so I never have any complaints. It's why I tend to go to MOGU than any other store nearby as their estimated times have always been reliable so far. When it's relatively busy during the lunch hour, there are still plenty of seats available so whether you want to quickly grab-and-go or eat there, you can choose whichever suits you. The portion sizes are average. They're not so small that you want more but they're not so large that you're typically taking some food home. Since this place is going to be more expensive than a typical Chinese restaurant, I'd keep that into consideration. In my case, MOGU fills a convenience need more than anything. It's nothing substantial or extraordinary but it is very close to work, I get my food on time and I enjoy it which is why I tend to come here several times a month.
