It was in my size & $7.99. Grabbed! Then I went over to the belt wall. I've really been looking for belts but the price is never right, or I don't want to order online because i can be very indecisive. A lot of the belts were $4.99. I grabbed a black and brown one and headed to the register. Normally I don't get grabbed by items at the register, but I was money grabbed today! The things I have been looking for just came to me at ON! I saw a red, green, and black small bucket type purse at the register. $6.99 each. There were some items I wanted price checked at the register and the cashier was patient. It was only three items, but still. There were other customers coming up asking for help in Spanish while I was at the register. She did a good job of tending to them as well while I was ringing my items up. Tip: they're giving out super cash now for every $25 spent.

Amidst a day of running errands all over the island, I popped into Kohl's to see what they have to offer. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. Respectable selection of season-appropriate women's clothing, at very reasonable prices. I particularly liked the Vera Wang and Nine West collections. Nice options for office wear, with classic styles, clean lines, attractive solid colors, and not many of the eyesore patterns that inexplicably seem to be so popular on women's clothing. I ended up purchasing a pair of slacks and two nice tops, all for less than $90 damage to my wallet. Kohl's also came through for me not long ago when I needed a pair of nylons, and was caught completely off guard to find Walgreens, where I've purchased nylons my entire adult life, no longer carries them, due to a drastic drop in demand. Um, what? Hose is no longer a thing? What are we wearing under skirts and dresses now, ladies? I must have missed this memo. Anyways, when I found out Walgreens no longer carries it, I headed to Kohl's, and found what I needed. This Kohl's also serves as a return center for Amazon purchases, which is incredibly useful and convenient. You can bring in your Amazon returns even without the original packaging, and they will take care of the rest. Very helpful! Overall, pretty pleased with this department store, and hope it stays in Alameda for many years to come.

They don't have a return policy, but you can apparently exchange within one week.
