It sounded sort of like an audio recording I'd once heard of a bird in respiratory failure. So I did what any crazy person would do, which was lose my mind and panic and call Dr. Werwa's office in tears. They fit me in an hour later and saw my grey immediately upon arrival. Doc Werwa and his awesome assistant took her vitals and checked her for a bunch of things. Turns out...She was totally fine. Actually in great health. That sound was probably her coughing up a bit of straw from a toy or something. But Dr. Werwa and his team didn't make me feel like a neurotic idiot at all. They reassured me and told me that next time I could send them a quick video before losing my mind & driving her across town. A good, true avian vet with a great team is hard to find. It's a godsend to have access to one in Cincinnati

We have been going here for at least 15 years and have been through every imaginable sickness, ailment, and sadly yes, the heartache of having to put our beautiful babies out of their pain. Dr. Davis is so wonderful that I can't imagine ever seeing another Vet unless he recommended someone who had more expertise in an area that he didn't have. We highly recommend Florence Animal/Veterinary Clinic for all your dog, cat, etc., animal needs

Besides being rude and they were downright aggressive. But they always have been. I have never found them to be sensitive to the needs of my pet and certainly not respectful of my time or my concerns about her welfare. It is very clear that their priorities focus on charging as much as they can, and in the process pride themselves on their rudeness.

Since we live in downtown, my first instinct was to call a vet that's located in downtown, but…read moretheir next appointment was not until a week later. I am not in the veterinary business, but I wonder, what happens if my dog has an emergency and needs to be seen by his PCP? I do not want a PCP that is impossible to schedule, so I chalked that Vet off even though he was the closest. Anyway, I called Park Hills Animal Hospital and they were able to fit me in in the same morning. My appointment was with Dr. Buckley. We arrived at PHAH at 11:20 (10 mins before our appointment), we were promptly checked-in by the reception staff and were seated in the room right at 11:30. We were not seen until 12:15 because there was an emergency that came in. Although we had to wait a little bit to be seen, I totally understand the urgency of an emergency and was pleased to see that Dr. Buckley and staff cared about their animals and treat emergency patients right away. Dr. Buckley did a very throughout exam and was very patient when it comes to listening to my dog's history and providing a diagnosis. She was also very clear in telling me her "game plan". Dr. Buckley was very attentive and I can tell that she cares about animals a lot and love all pets. I would totally recommend her to any of my fellow pet parents.

All three of our pets have now had their first annual visits at this practice and we've been very impressed with the care and attention they've received. Dr. Turner in particular really impressed me with his gentle demeanor and the time he spent with our kitty yesterday. He seemed generally interested in understanding her personality and he's the first vet to suggest a potential solution for the chronically cracked dry nose she experiences says every winter. It's easy to schedule appointments, the staff are warm and welcoming and when you come in, you'll see your pet's name on the blackboard by the door, which is a really nice touch.

Toni, the front desk clerk, is a hoot and so entertaining to talk to. We saw Dr. Larry Keller who I could already tell cared more about my Yorkie than the last 8 years with the vet-who-shall-remain-nameless. He was honest and wonderful at explaining things in layman's terms. When I asked if my pup could get his heartworm medicine as an injection (like he's previously received in the past), he explained they only administer the chewables because the injectable was recalled and he doesn't trust it. While that was eye-opening for me since my previous vet never mentioned a recall, I appreciated Dr. Keller's honesty (and quite frankly, I'll never ask for the injectable again!) Lewis is your small neighborhood vet and is extremely affordable. My only regret is not bringing my pup here sooner!
