If I could leave 0 stars I would. Unfortunately our initial encounter was so bad that we didn't even make it past her waiting area to the consultation portion of our appointment. This lady was so obnoxious, rude, and disrespectful upon our arrival that I just knew this couldn't be the Dr. and must've been the receptionist. From the moment my family and I walked in the door the service was poor. Our appointment was scheduled for 8 pm. We arrived early at 7:45 pm. There was no one at the front desk upon entry and we were greeted by an empty room. My 6 yr old had to use the restroom and the bathroom door was locked so we had to look for a key. My husband and kids went to the restroom once we found the key 5 minutes later. I sat down and waited for about 5 more minutes before a woman entered the waiting area from behind a closed door. She took one look at me and said "who are you?" I introduced myself and told her that I had an 8pm appointment. She proceeded to give me forms to fill out and said she would be back in a few minutes. She didn't introduce herself so I asked if she was the Dr. She said yes, so I reached my hand out to shake her hand. She did not shake my hand. Said she had a cold and walked away back into the room and closed the door. I was finished with the paperwork within 5 minutes, but still we waited patiently. 10 minutes later I knocked on the closed door. She cracked it open with a scorn face and said "what is it?" I politely told her I was finished with the forms and asked if we would be beginning soon. With a slow and stern tone, (as if she was speaking to a child), she said, "I- am- in- the- middle -of- a- consultation-, so -go -sit -down,- and- I- will- come -out- when- I'm -finished." I was so taken aback by her tone and demeanor that I just went and sat down. At this point I didn't have a good feeling about her but I stayed for the my sons sake. 30 minutes later (at approx 8:30) she returned to the waiting area, pointed at my husband and said "who is this ?" He introduced himself and she said okay lets get started. We all got up and I said, "can we first just clear the air because I feel like we got off to a bad start." I told her that the way she spoke to me before was pretty rude and I meant no harm by knocking on the door. She said well no one has ever done that before. People usually just wait!! I told her I had no idea that she was in the middle of a consultation when I knocked on the door. The only thing I knew was that we were way past our scheduled appointment time and it was already late. She was not apologetic at all. She started raving about how shes the best in the business, shes been doing this for 20+years, and that we could reschedule or go to someone else. This was such a disappointing and embarrassing encounter. The way she told me to go sit down as if I was a child, IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN was the most humiliating feeling. Obviously if we're going to see her we're there for unfortunate circumstances. She was an awful person to us and it broke my heart.
