AMAZING French Toast & Breakfast Potatoes

AMAZING dishes & GREAT Customer service I was so grateful to find vegan options in the "food court" contented to my hotel... but I was COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY by this AMAZING restaurant & GREAT customer service. Each dish I tried was PERFECTLY seasoned & so filling. YOU MUST GO & TELL EVERYONE how AMAZING this place is.

    The restaurant

First things first! The service was great the young lady who waited on me was very pleasant! The food was amazing very good !!!!! I got the Rhubarb pancakes they were hot and perfect it came with home fried potatoes, cooked just right and I got a side of sausage! I also got a pita pocket (I forgot the actual name) I know unbelievable! I didn't eat that yet I got it to go and my friend got a breakfast sandwich sausage egg and cheese she said it was great!!

The essential hot pocket, cinnamon raisin French toast and breeze smoothies

I am a carnivore ... it's that simple. When my daughter went Vegan in one of those 'phases of…read morelife' I shook my head but I do love my veggies and have come to discover some really great Vegan dining but it is never the first thing I look for. So when I was told that I would love the Daily Veg I was hesitant but the endorsement piqued my curiosity and I also had a meeting in the neighborhood so I stopped by to discover what would be a perfect "quick" dining experience because this is not fast food. The Daily Veg has a positive vibe when you walk in and the staff were extremely friendly as they encouraged us to enjoy the food. And, perhaps even more importantly I was nudged to sample an incredibly delicious "milkshake" that I really never would have ordered on my own. They call their food "COMFORT FOOD" but I called it yummy! The menu board and the staff member made the Cowboy Cheeseburger should like it should be my choice plus Sweet Potato Tater Tots ... I so love tater tots and SWEET potato tots sounded so good. And, I quickly ordered a regular beverage but I was asked ... "Wouldn't you like to try our "Cookie Monster" milkshake? I looked at the image ... it was blue and I remembered an awful blue ice cream my grandson had purchased elsewhere and then shared with me that was awful so I was saying no no no but they said yes yes yes so I went for it. When you are trying out a new place and the staff says try it ... I guess you try it. Let me tell you ... that COWBOY BURGER was absolute comfortly delicious. The blend of flavors was oh so good ... ok, you can't create Vegan bacon so the "tempeh bacon" is NOT BACON ... not crisp nor tasting like the bacon I love but it's flavor was a perfect match for Daily Veg's "Beyond Burger" patty. The pepper jack cheese melted into the sandwich and the onion rings ... mmmmm I am getting hungry remembering that yummy sandwich. The tots made me very happy but the milkshake was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Now, I had been craving a milkshake before visiting the Daily Veg. I did not tell the folks there that I was craving a thick delicious milk shake because the last place (Until now) I would ever order a milkshake would be a Vegan outlet. But that blue Cookie Monster shake ... OMG .... So good starting with the cookies on top. The cookie crumbles throughout ... the rich dairy-like flavor and the the blue didn't bother me at all .... Because I was being treated to something really good. My friend who went for the Pretzel Sausage and enjoyed that choice and I agreed that we will return and next time encourage others to join us. Who would have thought ... VEGAN "comfort food" not fast food ... but it is served quickly by people who want you to enjoy it (The young lady who made my milkshake even came out to our table to see if I enjoyed it.). I wouldn't be surprised to see franchises in your neighborhood ... a fun comforting meal. I need a milkshake that's blue COOKIE MONSTER!!!!

Don't eat there. I got take and was miles away so didn't return the sandwich but it was atrocious…read more The tomato slices were green and hard (they were not green tomatoes). The protein product was dried out and burnt. It was a disgrace. Never eat there again. They should be ashamed serving such garbage

We rolled in with a full-on family entourage: my brother (don't let his Caucasian-ness fool you, he can handle the heat), my vegetarian little sister and her hubby, my middle sister (preparing for upcoming gallbladder surgery), my diabetic mom, and my teenage daughter, and me. Basically a menu stress test. And every single dish was a hit. Pan fried pork dumplings and crab rangoons were perfectly crispy, tofu spring rolls came with an addictive dipping sauce, pad kaprow (not a typo), crave-worthy pad Thai, and rich and flavorful chicken and red curry. The vegetarians were very happy too, which is always the true measure of success. The staff? Incredibly friendly and attentive without hovering. The vibe? Open, well-decorated, and absolutely a great date-night spot -- but just as perfect for a lively family dinner like ours. We'll be headed back soon!

The food was very affordable, with lots of options to choose from. Overall great experience

I can say without a doubt that the Chef at Eclipse LOVES to cook and cares about what he/she puts on a plate. Amazing food. Husband had the pork chop and was beyond pleased with his food. Had a maple bacon glaze - need I say more....and was cooked to perfection; seared and caramelized on the outside, but juicy inside. I had the chicken dish and it was equally amazing. The skin was rendered and so crunchy AND meat was so tender. Was sitting in a perfect lemony sauce, served with super crunchy potatoes. Also, the staff was so personable and attentive. Just a pleasure. We are in Delaware from Ft Lauderdale, and are so thankful for Yelp reviews. They led us to Eclipse and we are SO HAPPY they did. Thank you Eclipse Bistro for a memorable, beautiful dinner!

I had a very late lunch/early dinner at Eclipse Bistro last Friday when I was in Wilmington for a…read morefew hours. Since I showed up around 4pm, the restaurant was pretty empty - it wasn't lunch time but it wasn't dinner time yet. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine, their bistro salad (chopped greens, cucumbers, vine-ripened tomatoes, feta, red onion, and red wine vinaigrette), and agnolotti (ricotta and herb-filled agnolotti, crispy pancetta, English peas, and Parmigiano-Reggiano). The wine was nice, and the food was quite good overall. The salad was simple, and the pasta was good, too. AJ at the bar was great - he was new (he was still learning the cocktail menu), but he was friendly and helpful. When I walked in, AJ was a little swamped at the bar (since the only people at Eclipse were at the bar), but there wasn't anyone at the host stand, nor did other staff standing near the kitchen say anything or tell me where I could sit. I was more than happy to sit at the bar - as a solo diner at an off-hour, it seemed like the easiest thing to do - but I wasn't sure if I could just grab a barstool and sit down or not. Since no one said anything, eventually I did just that, which was only a bit awkward (and I do get that I walked in between lunch and dinner service). Overall, it was a nice meal - nothing mind-blowing, but I do like their menu, and I enjoyed the food and my glass of wine. I wouldn't mind returning to try more of their menu on another occasion when I'm in Wilmington.
